My cousin whose a season ticket holder at Patrick thistle and works part time for them says Patrick and a few other championship clubs are pushing to get Lovelace on loan before the end of the window,
just wondering if anyone had info to back this up?

Al Garve, Lowry has started most of Hearts game other than the European games. He’s been playing in all domestic games. If that continues and he ends up playing 40 odd games this season (and hopefully does well and keeps improving his overall game) it’ll only be of benefit to us.

Lowry didn't start tonight and didn't in either Rosenborg game normally you would request a loan if you actually intended using the player, they pumped their gums about how so very pleased they were to get him and the boy is going to get piles sitting on the bench, he should be at a club as a first team starter no sitting watching that mince. McKay started tonight and he's playing like he's concussed and boots on the wrong feet.

I still feel the goal with youth team is keep them three year between domestic trained development ages then let them go for small fee and then bring them back later if they have developed enough elsewhere.
This will be why we are putting buy back options in most of youths that move on.

In my mind, at 16 and 17, it's too early to be sending Rice and Lovelace out on loan. I think they'd be better served training with the first team and being in and around the club. I honestly don't see a season playing with lower league players as being the best use of their time at this stage.

Why were the questions at the AGM so poor, a chance to get answers from the board but instead we got holiday homes in Seville and carbon footprint.

Everyone will complain about the tactics and general play of course it was brutal.
The first goal in these games are so vital that's twice we have had goals chopped of for absolutely nothing.

Its amazing to me how many of our fans don't understand the rules of the game. Take the blue tinted specs off, read the rules and confirm for yourself it was a foul. McFadden explained it perfectly at halftime and he's 100% right.
The referee also didn't make us dugmeat. If we're reliant on a referee making the wrong decision to win games against Celtic we're on a hiding to nothing.
No style of play, not addressed the defensive issues, brought in players of lesser quality than the ones we've let go, for more money and a manager who doesn't look like he knows what he's doing.
Beale is a used car salesman. We're going backwards, not forwards.

Last night was a shocker, I can accept being beat by a better team but battered no.
I only wanted champions league for the money but would have been hiding behind the couch watching the games. we are a mid Europa League level. Sunday is massive now.

Bit of a random thought just curious to what others think.
As Scottish people we all know rangers and Celtic are big clubs but having seen the level of players being linked with and signed by Turkish big 2 clubs are far better than rangers or Celtic can sign, are these clubs just a lot richer than ours or do yous think that players in Europe see the Turkish league as a better option, are galatasary and fenerbache bigger clubs than the old firm?

I think the Turkish TV deal was 370 million dollars per season for 2 years signed last year by BeIN sports. 20 teams in that league so roughly 30 million each if spit evenly. The SPL deal is 162 million dollars over 5 years and between 12 teams if evenly split 3.3 million each.

Until there is a total restructure of Scottish Football and the Amateurs that run both the SPFL and the SFA are removed and replaced with a professional operation, (I would even go so far as to say a single Scottish Football Association), nothing will change.
I find it incredible that Doncaster was given the deal that he has and not just because I consider him incompetent, giving any CEO a two year pay off in the event that he is dismissed is in itself incredible. That he doesn't appear to have any serious targets and objectives is just plain bad management by the SPFL Board.

There is no desire to improve the SPL because more money would simply increase the gap between the old firm and the rest.
The supporters of other teams would rather we were at the Irish league level that see us become more successful even though they would all benefit financially.
Small minded amateurs trying to run a professional organisation and trying to create a level playing field when the reality is that no-one will ever touch the old firm.
