My cousin whose a season ticket holder at Patrick thistle and works part time for them says Patrick and a few other championship clubs are pushing to get Lovelace on loan before the end of the window,
just wondering if anyone had info to back this up?

1.) 24 Aug 2023 17:57:02
Burt more than a dozen enquiries for Lovelace and rice.

2.) 24 Aug 2023 18:10:33
Rice and Lovelace have huge potential and a loan for a year would be good for both.

3.) 24 Aug 2023 18:21:18
I thought that John27 from previous posts that I've seen.
The only difference with this one was if a loan move to partick was actually a realistic thing to happen this window. My cousin said there is people within partick that really want to make it happen.

4.) 24 Aug 2023 18:40:55
We will see significant movement in academy players, remember window for these moves is not closed next week.

5.) 24 Aug 2023 19:06:39
Loans? the Gorgie crabbit faces won't start Lowry so why is he there? He needs games so what is the point of sending him to that mob?

6.) 24 Aug 2023 20:04:35
Lowry started and got 3 assists the other for hearts al garve.

7.) 24 Aug 2023 20:04:35
Think Lowry started at the weekend and played a good chunk of the game?

8.) 24 Aug 2023 20:15:09
Partick thistle would be a good move for zak lovelace on loan imo ?It would be a good club for bailey rice to go out on loan to also ?.

9.) 24 Aug 2023 20:16:21
John is there any enquiries from premiership teams in our other academy players?

10.) 24 Aug 2023 20:25:33
I'd be loaning Lovelace and rice to teams in our league definitely good enough for many clubs.

11.) 24 Aug 2023 20:28:24
Burt, my info yefeko, McKinnon, Mccrorie Devine king.

12.) 24 Aug 2023 20:52:03
Al Garve, Lowry has started most of Hearts game other than the European games. He’s been playing in all domestic games. If that continues and he ends up playing 40 odd games this season (and hopefully does well and keeps improving his overall game) it’ll only be of benefit to us.

13.) 24 Aug 2023 21:26:48
Lowry didn't start tonight and didn't in either Rosenborg game normally you would request a loan if you actually intended using the player, they pumped their gums about how so very pleased they were to get him and the boy is going to get piles sitting on the bench, he should be at a club as a first team starter no sitting watching that mince. McKay started tonight and he's playing like he's concussed and boots on the wrong feet.

14.) 24 Aug 2023 21:36:02
Yep eventually they noticed McKay was useless and put Lowry on, great news aye.

15.) 24 Aug 2023 21:47:55
Beale problem at this stage of their development won’t get enough minutes, six months in championship then review.

16.) 24 Aug 2023 22:38:31
Beale only problem there is you then lose time for Lovelace that he's been within the Scottish League structure and could go against the long term goal as a domestic trained player.

17.) 24 Aug 2023 22:41:18
And same will go for rice if he leaves Scottish setup.

18.) 24 Aug 2023 22:42:55
I still feel the goal with youth team is keep them three year between domestic trained development ages then let them go for small fee and then bring them back later if they have developed enough elsewhere.

This will be why we are putting buy back options in most of youths that move on.

19.) 24 Aug 2023 22:43:39
I would stay well clear of thistle though didn't exactly do much for the Colombian boy confidence.

20.) 24 Aug 2023 22:54:40
Probably correct John but probably better than players played by others clubs.

21.) 24 Aug 2023 23:07:25
John, totally agree, these lads need to be playing regularly.

22.) 25 Aug 2023 00:50:34
In my mind, at 16 and 17, it's too early to be sending Rice and Lovelace out on loan. I think they'd be better served training with the first team and being in and around the club. I honestly don't see a season playing with lower league players as being the best use of their time at this stage.

23.) 25 Aug 2023 01:05:01
I’d keep rice and loan the rest although maybe hang onto Devine til we see what happens with fullbacks before the window closes.

24.) 25 Aug 2023 09:26:05
Jimbo if guys go on loan to teams especially partime they still go to auchenhowie to train.

Why were the questions at the AGM so poor, a chance to get answers from the board but instead we got holiday homes in Seville and carbon footprint.
It's like a comedy show and not a funny one.

1.) 06 Dec 2023 12:23:16
Burt it’s like that at majority Of agm, it suits any company.

2.) 06 Dec 2023 12:46:09
Agm is a tick the box exercise.

3.) 06 Dec 2023 12:52:44
My mate was at the AGM he actually thinks these questions are asked by people put thre by the club.

4.) 06 Dec 2023 12:54:04
Surely our board after their recent statements would be willing to try and answer the difficult/ awkward questions? Or would they prefer to take easy way out? Seems like a farce tbh.

5.) 06 Dec 2023 13:02:34
They were shareholders questions, they are entitled to ask about things that they feel are important .

6.) 06 Dec 2023 16:02:54
Not if there hand picked beforehand and are only picked because there Easy questions.

7.) 06 Dec 2023 18:51:39
You’ve all missed a major point. I was there. Anyone who wanted to ask a question, could do so. No one was picked. Even when it started to over run, the last two guys were still heard. No conspiracy, just poor questions.

Everyone will complain about the tactics and general play of course it was brutal.

The first goal in these games are so vital that's twice we have had goals chopped of for absolutely nothing.

The var shat it. The ref shat it.
What did he see in the Replay that he didn't see live.

1.) 03 Sep 2023 14:18:35
Everyone will be right to complain about tactics they were a complete and utter joke.

2.) 03 Sep 2023 14:23:40
That's got nothing to do with the fact that our players apart from a few are clearly not good enough.

The rebuild has collapsed.

3.) 03 Sep 2023 14:24:08
Its amazing to me how many of our fans don't understand the rules of the game. Take the blue tinted specs off, read the rules and confirm for yourself it was a foul. McFadden explained it perfectly at halftime and he's 100% right.

The referee also didn't make us dugmeat. If we're reliant on a referee making the wrong decision to win games against Celtic we're on a hiding to nothing.

No style of play, not addressed the defensive issues, brought in players of lesser quality than the ones we've let go, for more money and a manager who doesn't look like he knows what he's doing.

Beale is a used car salesman. We're going backwards, not forwards.

4.) 03 Sep 2023 14:25:00
Really I think the only thing var will tell you is that our manager is a donkey.

5.) 03 Sep 2023 14:36:27
Agree there Storm. Honestly think some of the players looked confused and lost.

31 Aug 2023 09:58:01
Last night was a shocker, I can accept being beat by a better team but battered no.
I only wanted champions league for the money but would have been hiding behind the couch watching the games. we are a mid Europa League level. Sunday is massive now.

17 Aug 2023 18:24:34
Bit of a random thought just curious to what others think.
As Scottish people we all know rangers and Celtic are big clubs but having seen the level of players being linked with and signed by Turkish big 2 clubs are far better than rangers or Celtic can sign, are these clubs just a lot richer than ours or do yous think that players in Europe see the Turkish league as a better option, are galatasary and fenerbache bigger clubs than the old firm?

1.) 17 Aug 2023 18:39:36
It's the Turkish league is a major step up from our backwater hillbilly league.

2.) 17 Aug 2023 18:46:29
Turkish league is a lot stronger as a whole and will have way more money than us. Take rangers and Celtic out of the Scottish game and it’s as valuable as the Welsh and Irish league.

3.) 17 Aug 2023 19:05:28
Good question, I'm not sure what TV revenue turkish teams get.

4.) 17 Aug 2023 19:24:18
Turkey - $500 million over 5 years.
Scotland - £30 million a season until 2029. No negotiations. Not out to tender.
Scottish Football shafted by the incompetents at the SPFL . Doncaster, MacClennan etc have constantly under sold and under branded our game.

5.) 17 Aug 2023 19:34:02

6.) 17 Aug 2023 19:35:19
There's our problem mph.

7.) 17 Aug 2023 19:55:24
I think the Turkish TV deal was 370 million dollars per season for 2 years signed last year by BeIN sports. 20 teams in that league so roughly 30 million each if spit evenly. The SPL deal is 162 million dollars over 5 years and between 12 teams if evenly split 3.3 million each.

8.) 17 Aug 2023 20:08:41
I agree MPH but don’t think people will pay much for our league anyway.

9.) 17 Aug 2023 20:51:06
Until there is a total restructure of Scottish Football and the Amateurs that run both the SPFL and the SFA are removed and replaced with a professional operation, (I would even go so far as to say a single Scottish Football Association), nothing will change.
I find it incredible that Doncaster was given the deal that he has and not just because I consider him incompetent, giving any CEO a two year pay off in the event that he is dismissed is in itself incredible. That he doesn't appear to have any serious targets and objectives is just plain bad management by the SPFL Board.

10.) 17 aug 2023 21:16:40
it's as it always has been, jobs for the boys, when you're in your looked after till you leave, and after that too.

if you tow the party line and keep your mouth shut, i once drank with a guy from the old sfa, my eyes were well and truly opened.

11.) 17 Aug 2023 22:31:23
There is no desire to improve the SPL because more money would simply increase the gap between the old firm and the rest.

The supporters of other teams would rather we were at the Irish league level that see us become more successful even though they would all benefit financially.

Small minded amateurs trying to run a professional organisation and trying to create a level playing field when the reality is that no-one will ever touch the old firm.

02 Aug 2023 11:48:47

With the club negotiating roofs contact termination have you guys heard anything regarding Lovelace being pushed into the 1st team as 3rd/ 4th choice striker?

1.) 02 Aug 2023 12:41:05
Think we will find that out on Saturday burt mate. I said the other day I hope the boy makes the bench and picks up some minutes v killie
Think he deserves it after his performance, albeit I never seen it, the other day for b team.

2.) 02 Aug 2023 12:44:14
Burt, no. More likely a new signing

I’d like. See Lovelace loaned champion ship six months.

3.) 02 Aug 2023 13:37:20
We cannot go into a new season with a young inexperienced boy as our back up striker.

4.) 02 Aug 2023 13:48:14
My lads mate is a regular in the B team and says Lovelace is a cocky wee MOFO but works hard and can certainly play, give the lad some minutes in the league I say. ??.
