Rumour was we had an offer in the summer and he didn`t want to go so if he`s changed his mind and we can get rid of him we should do it. His all round game is terrible and his scoring record is only half as good as it should be . He will have spells where he scores a few and some of them will be good goals but his hesitancy and reluctance to shoot is who he is and he isn`t going to get any better.
Lets not waste another six months thinking he is the answer when its obvious that he is not.

30k at rangers should be reserved for special players. Lundstram is no more than a 15k a week player imo. Even at his peak he was important but he is limited. In no way should we be thst generous to players for underachieving.

I was one of lundstrums biggest critics and then one of his biggest fans under Clement credit where it’s due but the massive drop off suggests he has in fact put tools away also players reverting to sidewards football instead of direct quick attacks reminds me of what happened with gio when he first came in pushed two wide men up pitch and tried fast counter worked for a while then players seemed to just stop and revert back to old ways of playing.
Tells you there is a problem in the squad for me it’s time to shake things up and Clement should get our backing people need to remember these players are not his doing.
Give him a proper transfer window and a pre season.

I suspect that Lundstrum decided a while back that he would move on unless we gave him a hefty signing on fee and a lengthy contract. There also appears to be interest from the top end of the English Championship.
He is a mercenary and we know from his time at Sheffield United that he downs tools when he knows that he is moving on.
Having someone like him in the team has a negative effect on the other players.
I wouldn't have him at the Club.

I don't believe that a manager needs to tell a player that they are not part of his plans, most players will know this.
If you are at the end of your contract and you haven't had conversations about a new deal or, like Roofe and Jack, you have been struggling for fitness, then you know that it is unlikely that you will be given a new contract.
They are not the problem.
Equally, we have a number of players that are out injured or have been out injured and that are only returning to full fitness. They can't be blamed.
It all comes back to the poor acquisitions over a period of years, basically from the day that Wilson was appointed and then Park came in.
We keep hearing about last season's flops being down to Beale, how many of those players were identified by Wilson, Park and the assortment of poor scouts that we had at the Club.
I suspect that some of those acquisitions, as we are seeing with Lammers, are decent quality, but just not suited to the rigours of Scottish Football. The other problem is that Wilson sold good quality players, for big money, but we never replaced them.

Everyone will be having their say on matters including manager in or out.
For me in away games especially last night when teams sit in deep you have to move the ball quickly side to side to creat space for wingers, but when you did that you get ridvan running into vernys space bringing defenders with him forcing him to go back. Same on the other side matondo isn't great but 1v1 is where he should thrive jefte kept taking up his space forcing him. inside the pitch basically playing a man down at the point.
If you want full backs putting balls into the box don't have 2 wingers who need space to operate in just stick another striker on because when. You don't create space for a cross you only had igamane maybe brjami v 5 Dundee defenders.

When teams sit in, the idea is to make the pitch bigger. We should play left foot on the left and right foot on the right. When you play the opposite and have players cutting in, this plays into the hands of teams who want defend the middle and keep the pitch narrow. The 10 is useless because the 10 has no space to play. This is why we constantly struggle and play side to side passes with no real threat. Teams surrender the wide areas to us because they know that we have no one who can cross the ball and they also know we have no strikers who are dominant in the air. How many headers have we scored? If we set up with a couple of good strikers who are good in the air. Get down the line a put in good crosses then that would be a step in the right direction towards beating the low block.

I think its quite simple, when we don`t have the ball get back into shape and wait to pounce on the loose pass that is bound to come from defenders who are not good on the ball, then hit quickly on the counter . It worked against the other mob and it would work against other teams . the width is meant to be provided by overlapping FBs who Gomito the space that the narrow wide men create by cutting inside. then the FB doesn't know which way to go so the inside forward can either shoot or play the FB in. Issue is that we down get ball to IF quickly enough.

For away games one of bajrami or hagi need sacrificed for a striker and play 2 up top. At times hagi, bajrami, cerny and diomande are luxury players if u could call them that. You could forget bajrami was even on thr field for these games and hagi has zero pace. We are relying on scoring perfectly worked goals to beat these low block teams as we don't have a physical side to us, and you can't do that every goal.
