Seen that Todd Cantwell is being linked today as well as Davies. Unsure of the validity of the rumour but sharing what I've seen today.

Beale 56 . the lad is talented and at 24 would be a good signing. He IS injury prone tho. Have a look at his Everton record. Puts the foot in tho and would strive in the spl. Always been impressed with Cantwell. These two and a winger and i'd be absolutly buzzing ?.

New poster here! Just found this forum. cantwell and davies would both me great signings not just because if their quality but because of their market value. The only thing I would say about cantwell is he hasn’t scored or assisted in a while to my knowledge but I’ve watched many times and think he’s a good player.

First of all the person praising Celtic transfer business is a bit suspicious, secondly I think Davies and Cantwell would be great signings. Especially given they have both clearly cut it, not that long ago, in the premium league.

You’ve got to admit that most signings are risks, regardless of who it is but Davies has well over 100 games for Everton at the age of 24 and most of them are in the prem, was starting every game at one point, just unfortunate with his singular injury…. and manager changes.

Cantwell on the other hand is a strange one, I’m not entirely sure why he went off the boil but he was linked with all sorts of clubs in the prem at one point so his head has probably gone a bit.

Unsure as to what Cantwells best position is. I thought he could play wide but then you would have him and Kent in opposite sides and they are probably too similar . I liked the one in behind one running at your approach we had against that lot on Monday . If only Sakala had the quality to back up his passion ?.

Cantwell seems very similar in style to Lowry although a fair bit older. If we do get him, Lowry would need to go on loan for 18 months, I would think. I’m not too impressed by the other players we’ve been linked with as they don’t seem to be an improvement of the starting eleven.

Yeah Celtics policy has paid off, got to be blind not to see that.

Cantwell will be suited to a side like us on the front foot often, wasted at a Norwich.

Davies was highly regarded a couple of years ago.

These are two players we would never get near were they contracted longer and in form, we must feel we can get them back to the levels they have proven they can hit.

I have to agree Celtics transfer policy has been smart they are maximising several fan markets until this year they tended to go for a guy from a different country each time simple plan more international players mean more scouts come to watch your games and they pick up extta fans from those countries and has nobody notice the influx of Asians to Scotland? Try walking around. partick or finneston. Also players from these other countries tend to be on lower wages than English market just look at Davies 4 million and how much in wages and how many games did he play for Liverpool or Kent 7 million he couldn't get near Liverpool team and Celtic paid how much for kyogo, hatate, maeda? Less than Kent put together ?

We should not ignore the English free market but we also should not rely on it after all that's where our primary focus has been since Warburton and only 1 league and 1 cup.

Cantwell can’t get into the worst Norwich side in years which is a wee bit worrying. That’s coming from Norwich fans I know also. He is ok but will need to find his form from a few years ago.

Cantwell hasn't played much because Dean Smith wanted to sell him an cantwell didn't want to go. Resulted in a fair fallout and now looks like cantwell wants out.

Beale both good players, it’s interesting we r linked with players valued at around 8-10 million in last year, I know they r nearly at end off contract, but their value to us in future could be good
Must admit I’ve not seen much off cantwell but my son in law and two grandkids rate him highly.

Both I feel r correct age profile and have better legs, pace than likes of Jack kamara Davis, ps I’d be in no hurry to sell glen however, the profit would be hard to turn down.

Beale65 Davie had more than one injury bud been benched a few times due to injury but doesn't show up as injured in stats. Also main concern was that it was a serious knee injury most people that have serious knee injuries are never quite the same and tend to develope other injury's round about this injury.
