I've seen a few sources now claim the deal for Ridvan will be at £3m, which seems a pretty poor bit of business for us if true. I get he might not have settled here, but I was really hoping we'd be getting more that that for him. Not even sure that's breaking even is it?

Most think he isn’t good enough so why would expect clubs to pay top dollar? It’s the same if we had to sell Lammers or dessers people would moan it’s not enough. You just cannot win damned if you do damned if you don’t.

Think that’s all we paid upfront anyway the rest was due in add ons and a % sale

We get back our initial outlay then call it a day.

it was a strange signing and the boys played about 180 decent minutes altogether

we will be happy with 3m he was not good enough sadly, we need to change around 80% of our team, clement has a seriously big job ahead.

Clement will sort us out. Complete faith.

Well think John cleared this up the other day with news that he hadn’t met most of contract goals which means we didn’t pay as much as reported.

So 3 million if it’s just a straight 3 million won’t be too bad.

He will sort us ?
we have a squad of 33 players
he will have to replace a 1/ 3 of the squad in the next 6months
obviously we have couple loans players Sima and Silva but there will be at least 10 players from the current squad leaving between this window and the summer
Players most likely to be moving Ridvan Yilmaz, Ben Davies, Sam Lammers, Borna Barisic, Steven Davis, Ryan Jack, Kemar Roofe, Rabbi Matondo, Cyriel Dessers, Ross McCrorie (loan), Jon McLaughlin.

dont think Steve Davis is still on our books, might be wrong though. Shame about Ridvan as i am sure he was brought it as a valuable to asset to make more money on when he left, we don't breakeven if you consider all the other costs and time invested. and really what will we buy at 3M if indeed that money becomes available to invest.

I may be wrong geesadodothat, but i think wee davo is still on our books continuing his fight to get fit again ?oh what I'd do to have a stevie davis back in his mid 20's again ? Absolutely superb midfielder he was ?.

Poor business? Weve broken even. What has he actually done to be sold at a profit? Played 2 decent games on the bounce?

Govan blue and others, Davis is no longer on our books

He was actually stopped attending ibrox by Beale, this was the final straw that broke the camels back.

Bennett took immediate action,

Tom, he returned as Bennett gave him the job, my understanding he left as he wanted to pursue his fitness and get his coaching badges, that was his choice Tom.

Douglas park was still paying his wage after his playing contract had expired in beginning of June,
Then rangers were paying him whilst temporary manager, also when he was part of clement staff.

Don’t know if park paying him again.
