Obviously as we know there's a meeting today between both officials from rangers and celtic, jason leitch, yousaf, regarding the old firm game a week on sunday 🤔I might be wrong guys, but i honestly don't think the game will go ahead, especially the way that SNP nugget yousaf is talking 🤔Both clubs can do their upmost but it won't/ can't guarantee anything regarding fans behaviour and yousaf is stating that if the clubs don't guarantee the fans won't turn out then the game can't go ahead 🤔How can our club guarantee our minority of supporters will
toe the line and stay away 🤔.

I've just read that there is a spike in c. v numbers in Greater Glasgow, but the Government are saying it's too early to say whether the weekend's event has any link. Excuse my ignorance, but If there was any c. v challenge caught and passed on would it not take longer before symptoms appeared, c. v testing done, and results returned than the 6 days since the celebrations? Am I miles off here? Can someone clarify how long this would take? Excuse my ignorance If I'm wrong!

BMGH correct no way would I spike come that quick.

SGL it’s impossible for any club to guarantee that as fans do what they want clubs can’t control them.

Could be wrong but is it not a case that symptoms can show within 10 days hence why 10 day isolation period.

I know KJA9,I agree that undoubtedly our club can't give guarantees!

Hi Steven Gerrard Loyal,

Could guarantee fans would stay away if police Scotland hired a dozen or so water cannons, (filled with blue dyed water of course) .

Play the game up north or down south and do the same with the other old firm game that’s still to be played.

Last weekend CV cases numbered 501 in the full of Scotland.
Yesterday it was 591 in the full of Scotland.
Hardly a "spike" considering more kids are already going back to school.
In the area of Glasgow it has went up 45 cases.
In Ayrshire it has went up 14 cases.
In Lanarkshire it has went up 3 cases.
Scaremongering by an SNP government who should (? ) know better.
A spike would be after Xmas day when the SNP sanctioned people mixing in different households and the cases had risen from 700 to over 2000 in a short period of time.
But football fans / working class people are easy targets for an elite who think they are above reproach.

Football needs to be put in the right order of events here. This C.V. has killed more than 125,000 people and elite professional sportsmen and women have been privileged by being allowed to continue to compete. I know Rangers can't be responsible for the action of these so-called 'fans' at the weekend but that is the way it is I'm afraid. The risk is too high of major confrontation and further risk to health and life if the Old Firm is allowed to go ahead. We've won the league. Let the game be postponed until June and play the other games after the split (except for the other Celtic game) . If push comes to shove, award Rangers and Celtic one point each for both of these games and move on. Christ, why can't people behave!?

Playing the game up north or down south would be seen as a challenge and a day out for some of these people, most don’t attend ibrox, and don’t care if they pass any C.V. on to the hundreds of folk they will come in contact with, any C.V. could have gone through those at ibrox and the square like wildfire, might not, if everyone was C.V. free, very unlikely imo.

After a meeting with Police Scotland, Holyrood could cancel/ postpone the game due to public safety fears. No club can guarantee that their supporters will not turn up.

I totally agree, this is scaremongering at its worse to fit their agenda and they should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. But, how do you ashame this shower when a blowtorch wouldn't give them a red neck? Shameless!

TT people ain’t going to travel down south well not in high numbers that’s for sure and it’s easy don’t tell the fans where it’s getting played.

Rubbish, these people would, travel, and possibly cause mayhem.

Need to remember, the vast majority of Rangers fans (NOT season ticket holders) come from outside Glasgow.
Some of the largest Supporters Clubs are well out of Glasgow.
WHERE? Would you take this game?
