Getting away from our own great club for a minute here guys, here was a discussion we had at work today, let's see what you guys on here think 🤔We were talking about how good manchester city attacking midfielder phil foden is. We were then talking about how good jack grealish is and what one reminded us more of paul gascoigne 🤔 I personally think grealish is better than foden for me although both are amazing footballers 👌I rate grealish better than foden for this reason 🤔 Grealish carries aston villa at times and has been absolutely superb in an average team, compared to the man city team! Foden is playing with world class players beside him at city, grealish hasn't that luxury and that's why he's better than foden for me 👍 Imagine grealish in the man city team, with all those class players beside him 🤔I also think grealish is more like gazza than foden is although both have similarities to gazza 🤔
Paul Gascoigne though i rate better still than both grealish and foden! Thoughts on this fellow bears and what's your thoughts on this ED, if you don't mind mate 🤔.

{Ed001's Note - I can see your point, but I don't rate Grealish. His main strength is his ability to cheat his way to a free kick when he is the one committing the foul. If the refs were any good he would be another average player. He can run with the ball far more easily because he knows that he will always get given the benefit of the doubt when a gust of wind blows him over. Can't stand him as a player and have even less time for his lifestyle and attitude away from the pitch. I remember one game they examined closely on BeIn Sports, he got given 6 free kicks. 3 of them he was the one committing the foul. 2 others he dived under absolutely no contact and just one was actually a genuine foul. If that is what makes a great player, then I don't watch the sport any more.

Foden on the other hand is younger and more skilful. With the right guidance he will be twice the player.}

I think foden is far better, and I'm 110% certain he will go on to have a far better career than grealish. I agree with the ed I hate watching grealish, constantly ruling about trying to get players carded. without doubt the biggest cheat I've saw in a long long time, shame as he is a decent player.

Foden is only 20 so grealish got 5 years on him. he will be far better than grealish. Foden is an unreal talent.

Foden is miles a head of grealish and It’s not even a contest for me foden is the best player england have had since Gazza IMO.

This boys potential is off the chart.

never really thought about grealish cheating ED. but i do now

honestly didn't think he was any worse than may foreign players in epl, maybe because he was brought up playing with and against many of them, or he's just a natural born cheat, he should be expelled for hair alone though.

{Ed001's Note - he is definitely among the worst, if not the worst and it is nothing to do with nationality as the other worst is Zaha, who is also English.}

Tell yous what lads, another England midfielder that is going to up there with Foden is the boy Jude Bellingham, 17! What a talent that boy is.

I agree 5star, jude bellingham does also look a superb young midfielder 👌 England have an array of extremely talented midfielders in jack grealish, phil foden and jude bellingham 👌🇬🇧.

ED001,if you don't mind me asking mate, which one of jack grealish, phil foden or jude bellingham would you say is the more similar to paul gascoigne's midfield style 🤔.

{Ed001's Note - I am not sure any of them really play like him, but I would have to go with Foden, simply because he is the one who is most likely to pull off the kind of tricks and flashes of brilliance.}

Bellingham to me is more on old school box to box central midfielder. Can do it all and another who could be as good as he wants to be.
