Quick question to the guys that always said they didn’t win 9 in a row as it was 8.75,this popped into my head this morning do the same people also say we have only won 54.5 as we shared a title many moons ago with Dumbarton?

Here's a quick question also for you kj why would it be 54.5 if both teams shared the title because they both won it. They never won half a league each they shared the title as per rules of the day.
Very strange question to ask.

Rangers and Dumbarton finished with the same amount of points and back then goal difference didn’t count or head to head etc

So these where the rules before the league campaign started.

Celtic claim world war 1 titles but rangers don't claim world war 2 titles. Sounds to me that celtic fans have put this theory in your head.

No one has put any theory in my head I have always wonder especially when our fans said 8.75 etc…. Because I never said that always said it was 9.

I always said 55 and I also said they had won 9 so it doesn’t matter to me.

As the title that season could still have been won by us I believe that it shouldn't have been counted as a whole title. Hence the .75, which in effect it was. Not going to fall out with anybody over it btw.

Rangers have always had an asterisk in their history to denote they shared the title with Dumbarton.
Can't see Celtic putting a wee * next to their 9IAR achievement.
Plus Rangers and Dumbarton both completed a full season of matches on the park.
Celtic were handed a Zoom Call Title.

If you are asking me my assumption on what happened with the shared title then I would say it was a decision based on sporting merit and fairplay, both teams drew 2-2 in a play off game and the outright winner couldn't be decided with the set rules! Just a pity zoom calls wern't invented then! 🤭

Before you say penalty shootouts should have been used they wern't introduced till the 1977 world cup, 86 YEARS after the shared title!

Obv 55 we had highest points in league, hence why we were winners by rules. Not a rigged vote by our board. can't believe u would even suggest this or anyone agree with you. Totally baffled by this statement about our achievement on merit not being decided on a vote. Won by rule book 👌💙💙💙💙💙.
