Gio is a big name guys. What he did at Feyenoord was brilliant.

I've not commented on SG leaving until now but I hold no I'll feeling at all. He has raised the profile of our club. He has raised the standards within the club. He helped us win 55 and stop 10 in a row. He has improved us beyond recognition in Europe. His only shortcoming was his failure to win a cup or two. If he feels Aston Villa is the right move at this stage of his career then good luck to him. I'm not sure it's a great career move but in my opinion he has earned the right to make that decision.

Financially we don't have a pot to p. in so yeah, GVB is probably the biggest name we can get. The days of big name managers have gone I'm afraid.

There will be funds available for Gio if he is appointed but it will most likely come from the sale of one or two of our better players. One things is for sure, if Gerrard comes in for one of our players then he should be asked to pay top dollar for them!
