I've heard from one of my work colleagues that we are interested in Cammy Devlin and Elliot Watt if Raskin leaves for Atalanta BC

18 Jun 2026 19:25:13
Sounds good to me. Raskin has been poor for a while. Best wishes, fair price and we move on.
18 Jun 2026 20:19:37
Would only take Devlin if Barron leaves. Too similar otherwise. Watt is a must for me though, a confident 6 that can start the play. Would take him in a heartbeat as we've not had that 6 for a long time.
18 Jun 2026 20:20:21
Neither of them are anywhere close to Raskin. Massive downgrade. Watt would be a good back up option and Devlin would be a good Barron replacement. If we are selling Raskin, we must be aiming higher with our replacement.
18 Jun 2026 20:44:55
Seriously 😂 Raskin is miles better than them.
18 Jun 2026 21:50:18
Barron is a far better player than Raskin in every single aspect. The Raskin glaze is mad. He's literally had one good season and then a handful of scattered half decent games, that is it. Barron is the future, selling him is wild.
18 Jun 2026 22:02:20
Nuts. 🙄 😳 🤣 ⬆️
18 Jun 2026 22:07:41
Player has good season and plays well against us; fans think he is the answer to everything. Watt, previously in his career, played League 1 and League 2 in England. If Championship level players aren't good enough for us, then why would we go 2 levels lower? He was p**s poor at St Johnstone and this was his only decent season in his career.
Harsh, I know, but true.
18 Jun 2026 22:11:58
Well, of course it's a downgrade, Wishybear, we sell players for 10+ millions and replace them with guys 2-7m. We then try turn them players into 10+ million players. Raskin is in his last year of his contract, so it matters little how much better he is than the possible replacements.
He simply has to be sold. And he's also massively underperformed for us for a long time considering we know how good he can be. Watt had a far better season than Raskin last season, in a worse team and looks a far more comfortable player for that position.
18 Jun 2026 22:28:56
I agree Angus Watt has had one good season and that is all.
18 Jun 2026 22:32:28
How is that mad, Fork? You show me what Raskin has done and I'll say I'm wrong. It's hardly an unpopular opinion between fans, too. Raskin has been called out many times. You're on the boat of wanting home grown talent, yet want to sell Barron. That's nuts. Pretty sure loaning back out Curtis was mentioned too, nuts.
19 Jun 2026 00:48:24
BillyH, Raskin has 2 years left, bud! Now is the time to sell. 👍🏻
19 Jun 2026 05:54:50
I'm on no boat for homegrown players, the best players, yes. Barron is not better than Raskin, if you can't see that, then I'm not going to help u. Show me where I said loan Curtis out, I'll wait.
Show me where I said sign homegrown, again I'll wait. Never said either. Bologna have wanted Barron, I have said that. Others, not me, have said he could be a make weight for LF.
19 Jun 2026 06:48:39
The fact that Raskin is in the Belgium squad and Barron couldn't make Scotland's kinda ends the argument, surely?
19 Jun 2026 07:16:24
Correct Rangers Da. 👍👍
19 Jun 2026 08:24:53
Raskin playing alongside De Bruyne, while Barron's on his holidays, kind of tells you who's the better player, no?
I like young Barron, decent player, but Raskin is playing for Belgium at a World Cup. There is literally no comparison.
Raskin has been inconsistent for Rangers, but since he's been here he's had Beale, Clement, Barry, Martin, Rohl as managers.
Tell me any single player that would be able to have consistency with that much change.
We have always needed a whipping boy as Rangers fans, and it appears Raskin is now that. Wild.
19 Jun 2026 09:25:22
Wishy, for the team as a whole mate, McInnes might think it's better all round to sell Nico Raskin and bring in a proper no.6 in Elliot Watt and Cammy Devlin, i.e. better midfield balance possibly. 🤔🇬🇧
19 Jun 2026 12:52:34
Rangers have had two unofficial offers for Watt turned down, and Motherwell are asking way too much for a guy in the last year of his contract.
Said many times here Watt not in a rush and looking at options south as his first choice, quite happy to see out his Motherwell deal.
This comes from a family member of Watt.
Personally I'd have another check in on Watt in January, new manager, Rangers and Motherwell, and he will be able to negotiate precontract, see if his standard still as high then or he sees Rangers as better option than offers south.
19 Jun 2026 13:01:41
More back chanelling seems to be the way most deals and offers are being made now so can said no official offer.
18 Jun 2026 18:56:39
What I have been told we have no out of contact players signed at the moment. Things are very close but DM has the final say any out of contact players, they would have already been signed if that was the case so don't expect anything in the coming days

18 Jun 2026 19:45:36
Still be under contract, players are now not returning until a week today. Ryan, probably from Monday on next week, mean still under contract so still getting paid.
18 Jun 2026 19:16:12
Told by who a source who knows Things or what I'm not calling you out but you seem to be going against all ITK posters on here with this information
18 Jun 2026 20:18:07
Ryan's like our very own Chris Jack. Loves killing or shooting down rumours lol. Ryan "the reaper" Ayr. 😂
18 Jun 2026 20:36:42
Gersman, in fairness what I have said recently has been correct mate, genuinely ask me anything and I'll try to explain the best I can. I know you're not calling me out or anything, but remember I am just passing on information as we all kindly do.
Ayrshire, I am not trying to be all doom and gloom, and how dare you compare me to that halfwit 🤣, and I am certainly not trying to say anyone is wrong with what they say.
I'm away to cry into a packet of Monster Munch and eat a Curly Wurly. I will only share what people want to hear from now on. 🥲
18 Jun 2026 20:46:19
I'm just having a bit of fun, mate. All info appreciated. 👍
18 Jun 2026 20:47:52
I want to hear everything, Ryan. Also - Beef Monster Munch > Pickled Onion. 🤣🤣
18 Jun 2026 20:55:18
Ryan, I appreciate the information as well, sure we will see who's right soon enough, mate.
18 Jun 2026 20:57:50
Flaming Hot are the best though, Trueblue. No contest. But I agree on the first point. We want all news good and bad.
18 Jun 2026 23:24:26
Anyone on here remember space raiders for
10p?
Magic.
18 Jun 2026 23:39:52
Was more of a bikers man myself, Wilkins.
19 Jun 2026 05:17:08
Biker, now you are talking my language.
19 Jun 2026 13:03:21
If they were signed, wouldn't be out of contract though, eh lol.
18 Jun 2026 16:31:50
I am hearing Cammy Devlin is a strong possibility

18 Jun 2026 16:38:33
Would love this to happen.
18 Jun 2026 16:40:31
I can see that too, but I did hear he was in talks with Real Salt Lake City and they'd offered him a crazy wage, higher than any other club has/had offered.
18 Jun 2026 16:40:33
Great, good to see we're aspiring to get 4th in the league.
18 Jun 2026 16:52:06
Hate him as a player.
18 Jun 2026 16:54:39
IrvineBlue, $20, 000 a week, which is about £15, 000. Would be one of their highest earners, as believe they're on the lower end of the scale in the MLS when it comes to yearly salaries. A decent wage tho!
18 Jun 2026 16:54:51
Wee guy is a terrier and would be a great addition to the squad.
18 Jun 2026 16:56:37
Depends on the price/wages. Would personally rather keep Barron. Very similar type of player, and he's Scottish.
18 Jun 2026 16:57:37
Devlin is a sensible signing. Free and cheap wage compared to some sitting on our Bench. His stats the last 2 seasons, from breaking up attacks, regaining possession, are brilliant. If we want to play with press, you need that in your side.
18 Jun 2026 16:59:24
Dado, I agree! Think he'd be a great signing. Think there's a misconception that he's a liability, but he's only had 2 red cards in 5yrs at Hearts. 🤷
18 Jun 2026 17:15:29
Just no.
18 Jun 2026 17:20:27
Easy one to do.
Would expect him signed once Australia are out the WC.
18 Jun 2026 17:21:25
Decent player but would pick up a lot of red cards playing for us.
18 Jun 2026 17:22:15
Guys hate him as a player, bet players hate him as a player too. He'll do for me. Defensive stats are through the roof. Not every signing will need to be nailed on starter, although we need mostly that for sure. 28 years old with an excellent work ethic.
I actually wasn't bothered about signing Devlin, I actually thought he would end up at them.
That was my only worry, because he would definitely become the Scott Brown/Lennon etc etc that we hate. I fancy one of those annoying little pests in our team/squad for a change.
18 Jun 2026 17:24:43
Had to read that twice superally.
18 Jun 2026 17:27:28
About as useful a signing as Kenny Black. Simply no.
18 Jun 2026 17:28:27
What's Cammy Devlin's natural midfield position. 🤔 I know he is similar to Connor Barron, so I would assume a no.6. 🤔 What's others thoughts. 🤔
18 Jun 2026 17:30:46
Not winning the league with Cammy Devlin.
18 Jun 2026 17:39:19
Barron better, he doesn't improve the squad I don't think.
18 Jun 2026 17:41:56
A free with little risk. 100%er, which is my type of player.
18 Jun 2026 17:49:14
So that free on £15-20k per week. For what would be a squad player? Ferguson is on £20 at Bologna, so do you think Devlin is worth the same weekly wage? Then we have to pay Ferguson £25-30k and we are back to over-inflated wages.
18 Jun 2026 17:49:18
Think he's more about getting about the pitch than the man.
18 Jun 2026 17:51:43
On a free? Squad player? Yes.
18 Jun 2026 17:52:14
My thoughts remain unchanged if we're going to buy the Hearts squad who finished second to a s*** Celtic were in trouble, especially Devlin, who's been around the SPL long enough to have more than just a mere half season where he was good, nothing more! Only other player I'd take from Hearts is Braga and not at the money they would want.
18 Jun 2026 17:55:42
Our whole squad is about to be changed across our playing squad. His fight and aggressiveness is what we've been missing as a team. Airfield and Davis being the last two players to run through brick walls.
18 Jun 2026 18:10:00
So, we don't want EPL level players, but we want average SPFL ones? Would rather play our youngsters than bringing Devlin types.
18 Jun 2026 18:17:34
Yeah, he had a good season, but that's it, doesn't merit a move to Rangers if we're serious about getting back to the top.
18 Jun 2026 18:30:56
Sign Devlin on a free. Sell the other midfielders that have let us down.
18 Jun 2026 18:40:00
From Ferguson to Devlin in 24 hrs, my club.
18 Jun 2026 18:49:40
More snobbery with Devlin.
18 Jun 2026 18:55:21
Not snobbery, we already have Barton and Cameron.
18 Jun 2026 18:59:53
If we sign Devlin as a no.6 then the club don't need to spend EUR12-EUR15 million on Ferguson. 😂
18 Jun 2026 19:12:58
Barron has been rumoured to be moving on, and Cameron, as much as I thought he would be a decent signing, hasn't been, and had a poor loan.
18 Jun 2026 19:23:43
🤣 Good spot, Biggles. Glad I didn't misspell, or I would be getting banned from the forum. 🇬🇧
18 Jun 2026 19:27:41
Anyone know the stats between Devlin and Barron?
18 Jun 2026 19:40:32
Someone not being good enough to improve our team is not snobbery. I feel that word gets thrown about very easily these days. How can it be snobbery when everybody's happy to take Shankland. I'm sure everybody would take Just and Watt also.
18 Jun 2026 19:46:43
Don't know, Jking, but would prefer Barron in my team.
18 Jun 2026 19:54:08
Star, with my glasses, I think Barron & Devlin would improve us. Very like for like. I don't think Cameron is suited to us.
18 Jun 2026 20:00:01
I don't believe it's snobbery that people don't want him. For me, he is better than Barron. That's just my opinion, and I would take him for a squad player.
18 Jun 2026 20:04:51
Devlin was Hearts best player till he got injured last season. Had he not been injured he would have been player of the year, and Hearts would have won the league. I'll take someone like that on a free any day of the week.
18 Jun 2026 20:10:12
Just Ian Black mark 2, he played the same way with Hearts and was useless when he signed for us.
18 Jun 2026 20:14:17
McInnes loves Devlin. He spoke very very highly of him in an interview last season. He might love someone with more quality on the ball who has similar traits to Devlin he can buy, but we need to build a squad, and on a free, if McInnes wants him, I'm happy.
18 Jun 2026 20:32:23
Jking, Devlin was better in interceptions and tackles per game than Barron. Devlin was, I'm sure, best tackler in the league. However, Barron was better than Devlin for progressive passes, accurate passes, passes into final third and touches in final third.
Barron is also, what, 5 years younger than Devlin and homegrown. So for me it's incredibly short-sighted to replace Barron with Devlin. But it is only my opinion and respect to those who disagree even if I disagree with that opinion.
18 Jun 2026 20:46:55
Delvin would be a squad player, but remember he's on a free, so wages would be higher o still think he would need to be on under 10k.
18 Jun 2026 20:47:45
McInnes doesn't manage Hearts anymore, so what's good for them doesn't mean it's good for us.
Devlin is a downgrade on what we have. We're trying to win the league, not finish top 3.
18 Jun 2026 21:58:21
Cammy Devlin would've got POTY last year had he not got injured. His positional sense is brilliant. When teams are attacking, he can break up play, and can still chop in with goals. That's something we never get from Barron.
18 Jun 2026 22:12:59
We have a squad. What we need is first team players. If all fans seem to be wanting to sign at the moment is squad players, we will have 50+ players, but only 4 or 5 for the first team.
Yes, he is free, but he will want more than the £15k he has been offered in US. That isn't a good deal for a squad player.
18 Jun 2026 22:31:41
He makes the squad better, Angus, so we should sign him.
Anyone that says he is like/or just as good as Ian Black should take up watching netball, Jesus wept.
18 Jun 2026 22:58:43
I think what we need to remember is that some of these potential new players are not coming in to eject other players from our club, but transfer deals may have already taken place for some of our squad, such as Barron.
Therefore, we need to have replacements ready to fill the gaps. Devlin, amongst others, do that. We need players with the mindset of "always a little further". Our team certainly lacked that self determination last season.
19 Jun 2026 08:26:37
Storm, you only think that because you don't like Barron. I don't see much difference in quality, and Raskin is miles above him. Yes, he was at WC and Barron wasn't, but he got nowhere near the pitch. There will be better out there who actually improve us for the weekly wage we will be paying.
Yes, he is better than Ian Black, but tbh I think I probably still am. 😉 So it isn't a high bar. But I do like Devlin as a player, but don't think he is good enough. But just my opinion, and I have been wrong once (I think).
19 Jun 2026 09:32:09
Cammy Devlin is the type of midfielder you love if he's playing for your club, but is hated by all other supporters and players of other clubs just by the way he goes about his business. 🤔 He's an absolute pest for opposition midfielders. 🤔
19 Jun 2026 13:07:02
Is Devlin not another one that's out of contract? If so, do we really want to make a nobrainer mistake like we did last year with Mulligan and Shankland? Could we not just see if he will agree a break clause, if it doesn't work out first season? Sure, he wouldn't be hard to deal with if it meant he signs for Rangers.
Big career jump for player.
19 Jun 2026 13:08:25
Plus we all complain that club should be snapping up best league players like him or not devlin falls into that category and do the stats not back that up
18 Jun 2026 10:54:37

18 Jun 2026 12:09:46
Good news imo. 😁
18 Jun 2026 12:15:39
I was looking at that last night. My Star, his current deal was only as an advisor till the end of the month. Given Aarhus just became Danish champions for the first time in 40 years, I would have been a bit miffed if he had not been retained.
Very pleased with that news. Also points to him being on the same page as McInnes going forward.
18 Jun 2026 13:45:53
Also delighted with the news the Stig Bjornebye is staying on with us permanently. 😁👍🇬🇧
18 Jun 2026 14:19:59
Was always the pan.
18 Jun 2026 14:23:59
I did say there would be 4 announcements.
I mentioned 3 positions on the park, but the 4th one I never said was on the park. 😉
18 Jun 2026 15:25:16
Glad to hear there's a plan, John. I thought we were just making it up off the hoof.
18 Jun 2026 15:34:49
Realistically, when do we think player announcements will start to happen, guys?
18 Jun 2026 15:39:11
Yet to be convinced.
Rommens came from Cheraii, Naderi can't score, and is injury prone, Olsen was a disaster and Tochi is good for 2, terrible for 3.
18 Jun 2026 16:02:07
What is Stigs actual job?
18 Jun 2026 16:09:50
Three Cheers, his job is to test drive the cars.
18 Jun 2026 16:19:07
Three Cheers, he's replaced Koppen and laterally Thelwell.
18 Jun 2026 16:22:25
Go on Stiggy!
18 Jun 2026 16:36:36
Ok cheers, John.
18 Jun 2026 17:50:28
I feel he's a bit more complete player than Barron.
19 Jun 2026 12:57:08
Big deal, apart from Rommens, his track record was not good in January, and surely a Scot who knows what is required to win up here would be a better fit for this job.
18 Jun 2026 08:20:43
Anything in the Raskin to Spurs info that appeared in an article in "to the lane and back" in amongst the clickbait? Prob mince but some on here will say swap for Moore? Me I'd rather sell Raskin, if as some say he's away, n leave Moore out of it, boy needs further development for me, but somewhere else and not at the detriment to our own.
Agree17
Disagree0
18 Jun 2026 08:58:15
Moore earns something like £44k/week. He's not coming here. Anyway, we have Curtis to fill that role.
18 Jun 2026 09:04:41
If Raskin has a good WC Fork, I think you're right, we should get more money for him than it would take to buy Moore. I liked Moore but would imagine another year loan may be the most we'd get out of him. He probably sees himself as an EPL player.
18 Jun 2026 09:17:09
Moore is a fantastic young player but we are not going to sign him permanently.
Yes we could maybe get him on loan again but I'd rather see Curtis getting the game time this season other than developing a young player for another team.
Develop our own lads.
There is no doubt the loan market can be effective in a positive way but it was utilised far too much last season.
We need guys in who are fully committed to the club.
I would use Olsen as an example of a disastrous loan, with a guy who knew he wasn't staying, so wouldn't risk anything, just kept it safe.
As for Raskin leaving, I think that's pretty much certain at this point, we all know it.
I think Butland also goes and wouldn't be a shock to see bids for Manny and Chermiti, while I'd like to keep them 2, every player has a price.
18 Jun 2026 09:24:47
19 teams showing an interest in Raskin, apparently. 8 EPL: Villa, Spurs, Brentford, Brighton, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton and Leeds. Then Fiorentina, Atalanta, Porto, Real Betis, Marseille, Borussia Monchengladbach, Copenhagen, Besiktas and Fenerbahce. According to 'TransferFeed'. They say we have him valued at 24mil.
{Ed001's Note - on our West Ham site, someone on there has said they are interested in him.}
18 Jun 2026 09:24:09
Did some of the ITK posters not mention that Raskin has already signed a deal to leave?
Something about him signing an extension that had a release clause in it, and a club have met it?
18 Jun 2026 09:29:35
You forgot East Kilbride Thistle.
18 Jun 2026 09:37:39
Aye, Alex, agree with developing our own first tbh, think that has been mooted, AK7, also agree, Baz, think you're right, and Rwn and 001 knew there was interest but were unaware of the amount, also think u may well be correct, Rohl, cheers guys. 👍👍
18 Jun 2026 09:56:06
Raskin will be away, if we could replace him with Ferguson I'd be more than happy.
18 Jun 2026 09:56:56
Would love to see Raskin sign for Everton but think he'll go to Italy or France.
18 Jun 2026 10:00:06
We replace Raskin with Ferguson, I'd be more than happy, as well, Loven.
18 Jun 2026 10:05:05
Actually, Mikey Moore seems to be on a really low salary according to most salary sites. But I would rather we didn't spend money on him and develop our own or bring in someone for less money who has similar potential.
18 Jun 2026 10:16:01
Goram, I don't think Raskin is disciplined enough to play in England. If you go MIA in the Premier League, and do what you want, you get punished. It's no mistake that the last 3 teams to win the PL were very disciplined in midfield and have a 6/8 in midfield who held their positions. You're probably right where he lands, mate.
18 Jun 2026 09:53:30
Sight saying Rangers secure signing of check striker rhamdini. Soz on spelling
Don't know ifs it's Bull
Or a parody
18 Jun 2026 10:32:05
Nice one JFM. 😁 Used to try and follow EK Thistle when I was young, and stayed there and wanted a local club. Glad they now have a team and doing well, even if it's not the Thistle.
18 Jun 2026 10:57:37
EUR24m is that not exactly £20m? Seems about right to me. I'd be happy with that, with £5m in add-ons that are realistic and fair. Maybe 10% sell-on.
We need to sell him this summer, I think it's best all round.
Get Lewis in, and Dan Neil would be a good signing too.
Keep Connor. I'd also be happy to give Diomande a new deal under a new manager, he may excel to his full potential.
18 Jun 2026 10:57:59
If bringing Mikey Moore back is possible, we should be doing it without hesitation. A swap deal with Raskin might be possible, but I seriously would back a bid for the lad. Offer a buy back clause for £50m, maybe.
18 Jun 2026 11:14:51
Iron, isn't that one of the problems with Raskin in this team? He's constantly moving out of position to retrieve the ball from the CBs. Not sure how disciplined he really is. Seems to do what he wants at times. Maybe that would be different in a better team though.
18 Jun 2026 10:54:38
Good info Ed001
Forgetting you guys will see info from other posters on various clubs banter and rumours pages across your forums 😊
{Ed001's Note - it gets very confusing at times though. So many sites and half the time I forget which one I am editing!}
18 Jun 2026 11:36:17
Doubt Spurs are in for Nico, they are after Tonali, and already have a few that would be ahead of Raskin.
18 Jun 2026 12:04:16
Doubt Spurs will get Tonali. They do that every season, throw out names they will never get, to make it seem they are being ambitious.
18 Jun 2026 12:05:37
100% Marco! He'd be a nightmare to play with in midfield. I think Chuckwani and whoever played next to him were sold short, and he was made to look much worse. He was here, there and everywhere at times, and left them outnumbered and isolated.
I've never been a big fan. He had a good period under Ferguson when we had nothing to play for domestically. Outside that, I think he's been poor to above average, with the occasional strong game. Just my opinion. Not stating it as fact.
18 Jun 2026 12:06:11
I posted this a few days ago but it's relevant to this discussion:
I think we are undervaluing Raskin. Engel couldn't get into the Belgian WC squad, but Forrest, Fulham, Sunderland and Napoli are willing to pay £25 million plus for him. Then surely Raskin, who's playing with Belgium at the World Cup, is worth at least similar or more?
18 Jun 2026 12:23:23
Difference with Engles and Raskin is Engles has actually won titles, that's probably a lot more important and valuable to some teams than coming second to everything every season.

So, we reckon that Raskin is worth at least £15million, Fernandez £20million and Chermiti £20million but we feel the club needs to sign a "spine" of the team. Were these three guys not the spine of last season's team, and if they are worth that sort of money, why were we so poor?
Also, if we could get £55million for the three of them and buy 11 x £5million players, one for each position, would we win the league? It's being a bit simplistic but just putting it out there for thoughts and opinions.
18 Jun 2026 12:39:36
You would be getting 3 players off the wage bill to replace with 5 who would all want minimum £20k if they cost £5m. Ferguson for Raskin fee achievable, £20m for Chermiti and £20m for Fernandez. I think we could get 2 V good replacements at £4-8m each and free up cash for other areas.
18 Jun 2026 13:11:25
Beef, like playing at the World Cup and the other not for the same national team, don't give us different positions, because Engles was a 6 in Germany and has only played for Belgium as a 6.
18 Jun 2026 13:29:35
Beef, winning titles doesn't make you a better player. Exposure in the CL & WC maybe helps, but winning SPL is probably meaningless to big clubs.
18 Jun 2026 11:54:57
Ed, I missed out the 2 Championship teams? West Ham and Wolves?
{Ed001's Note - ok mate.}
18 Jun 2026 12:05:27
I've not heard Raskin's name mentioned once in regards to West Ham Ed. He of course might be right but EX WHU is the best in the know source I've came across anywhere he's eerily 100% accurate in regards to all areas of WHU.
Never mentioned him. No sure Nico would fancy a year in The Championship either. I wouldn't have him at WHU personally he's not for me.
{Ed001's Note - I have no idea, just saying his name came up just today on our West Ham site.}
18 Jun 2026 14:47:38
When Raskin's ambition is to play for Chelsea, then for me the only destination he will accept, in my opinion, will be a Premiership club.
18 Jun 2026 15:01:24
He's nowhere near good enough on the ball to play for Chelsea, never mind under Alonso, who was absolutely top class in his position.
18 Jun 2026 15:56:01
But we will be developing him for us also.
18 Jun 2026 16:50:11
If teams are only buying players from teams who win titles, then they have a very limited pool to buy from. Most of the decent talent who go to clubs like Brighton seem to come from left field and are then sold for a bit once they show their promise.
Brighton don't win the league, so why would anyone buy from them.
Same as why players will still come to us this season, despite finishing third. They will be sold on where we are going, and that this was a one off.
18 Jun 2026 20:11:33
Correct, Angus. The only thing we can do is stand our ground and show we aren't being lowballed any longer. Celtic have always had money in the bank, which has made their position a bit stronger as well imo.
18 Jun 2026 21:00:50
Looks increasingly like: Raskin, Chermiti and Fernandez are for the off-road, possibly £60 m. Ferguson coming in would help, however, we need a big strong striker to supplement Shankland - any potential targets - John? Ehl?
18 Jun 2026 00:02:24
I think we could see our new home strip on Thursday with any new signings that have been done.
I'd imagine anyone who has already been signed, would be announced tomorrow with preseason starting on Friday.
Could be way off the mark, but just a thought.

I think manager and players will both have to sign off on each other now. Then they'll be unveiled.
18 Jun 2026 06:21:05
Gazza, I think it might be early July now before we officially launch our new home kit mate, just my opinion. 🤔🇬🇧
18 Jun 2026 06:57:06
Stevie, very unlikely unless a close in the contract if already signed.
18 Jun 2026 07:21:18
Rumour that the new home kit goes on sale tomorrow (Friday).
18 Jun 2026 07:38:17
Apparently it's already on sale in the airport store. My mate called me yesterday when he was going abroad.
18 Jun 2026 07:59:10
In Glasgow airport now, and they have it on sale.
18 Jun 2026 08:40:01
I think all the signings will have signed knowing it would be McInnes.
18 Jun 2026 10:59:43
John, I didn't know the new signings had actually signed. Sorry, that sounds a silly way to word it, but yous know what I mean.
If they have, then of course it's done. I just thought it doesn't sound like it's done deals.
I'm sure none would be against McCinnes anyway, it was more he may not want someone or 2, who knows.
18 Jun 2026 15:53:13
Cool, Stevie, some have been agreed.
Stories may come out soon re Rohl and players. Mcinness has experience in managing peoples.
18 Jun 2026 16:13:22
I agree, John. 👍 Derek McInnes is old school when dealing with players. 👌 🇬🇧
17 Jun 2026 22:03:51
As I've said many times I am not a man in the know but a friend of mine who also is not in the know has just messaged me and said his partner's sister has a farm house in blackwood and Lewis Ferguson has apparently purchased a property behind her home. I'll post a screenshot to show I'm not making it up.
As I've said neither me nor him are in the know so take it with a pinch of salt, or fully believe. I'm saying it's done 😂

Ayrshire, as you can probably tell by my screen name, I live in Blackwood and my daughter has been best friends with Lewis's partner since primary school. The house in question was purchased months and months ago, the for somewhere for her and the two kids to come over instead bunking in with parents.
Now, I'm not saying he is or isn't coming, as much as I've asked my daughter to find out; she values her friendship also and wouldn't say even if she knew. I hope he does sign, but unfortunately I have absolutely zero info on the matter, only what I know around their house and what my daughter tells me snippets.
17 Jun 2026 22:27:22
Sorry to add to my previous post, it's not a farmhouse, it's a very very large house that was only built and finished months ago.
17 Jun 2026 22:28:59
Trust me with this. You are looking too much into this haha
I would put my whole reputation on the line for this. In building and with my friend ITK.
Lewis, Lewis family, Lewis Friends who visit him in Italy are all from that area.
If you know the area there are significant property development opportunities.
Some beautiful properties have been made nearby.
I am not surprised he and others are investing in this land and nearby.
First rumour that involves land and transfers that I've not started haha.
17 Jun 2026 22:31:13
Fair enough, mate. As I said, I have no inside knowledge so was just sharing. Thank you for the insight though, bud. Definitely appreciate it.
17 Jun 2026 22:31:33
Blackwood Bear, we may have a few friends in common. I am Overtown and have connections with the friends who are in Larkhall.
17 Jun 2026 22:35:52
AyrshireMurphy, if you ever want investment, have a look at land at Clyde Valley, the post code comes under Larkhall, and it might surprise some, but Larkhall will be worth a good sum more due to these buildings being built.
17 Jun 2026 22:44:48
The lad has clearly done very well financially & is setting up for life after Italy, nothing sinister here.
imo, he will not be signing for Rangers. We really need to move on.
17 Jun 2026 22:52:33
Watp
My wife's from Overtown, I'm Sunny Car L, not too far away, my big mates family from Overtown sold some amount of land down there for quite a pretty penny, I'm led to believe.
17 Jun 2026 22:52:49
WATP, I'm born and bred Larkhall, but left the Vegas of South Lanarkshire just over 20 years ago and moved up here to Blackwood. Ayrshire not a problem, my friend, and I'm sure if I find out any snippets I may drop a teaser or two, but my daughter wouldn't tell me where a bird's nest was tbf haha.
WATP, it's a strange one, as Lewis's mum and dad now live in Larkhall and bought my best mate's mum and dad's old house. Just goes to show how small a world we live, mate.
17 Jun 2026 23:02:50
GJB83, I started in Bentfoot Road haha.
Blackwoodbear - such a small world, eh. I don't know the Lewis family, but I do have a link with one of the friends. Completely respect that you're not using your relationships to find out info.
Larkhall is definitely up and coming due to Clyde Valley postcodes. Never thought I would say those words haha.
17 Jun 2026 23:02:55
Stonehouse boy here. Hence the Tom Forsyth reference. He was friends with my grandad. I went to school in Larkhall. Small world indeed, but Vegas is pushing it. :p
17 Jun 2026 23:53:08
I think Lewis is coming regardless of any of this. He's going to be next capitano.
18 Jun 2026 00:29:26
Stevie, someone mentioned earlier about being expensive for our model. Yes, he is, but Ferguson isn't any part of any model. Cavenagh wants him signed, and will go out his way to make it happen. Heard this story not from one man that gets information, but a few. This could very well happen. The major part is Ferguson willing to sign right now.
18 Jun 2026 01:20:29
Mate, I called ue a while back.
He could be our version of McGregor.
Derek said try only thing in the way of the move is the fee. That's his dad saying coke and get him.
I'd happily pay EUR15m for him. He's worth it. Keep Barron.
Ferguson is captain Shankland VC Neil after them.
I genuinely and really believe we'll sign him.
He'll likely have a guarantee that he can leave for EPL with a buyout of £20m or sumfin.
He's a one off signing. An out of the park price for an out of the park player.
He's immense. With him in the middle of the park and Neil beside him. Barron as back up, and Chucky needs to up his game, don't get me wrong, but maybe he will. I feel one more in there and we've a good mf.
18 Jun 2026 01:22:01
5 year deal equates to EUR3m a season plus say £1-2m in wages, 6m, so if we sell for £20m after year 3 or 4 (if he extended for 2 years) we'd be in profit.
18 Jun 2026 01:55:17
1.2 million, sorry.
18 Jun 2026 03:50:05
You ain't selling Lewis Ferguson for more than we buy him for, unfortunately, due to the age he will be after 3/4 years.
But that's not what he's being bought for. If he comes, it's for longevity/leadership and the intention of him being here potentially even longer, leading the side.
18 Jun 2026 05:58:55
Coully, my man, u are absolutely correct, mate. I didn't realise his age. He'll be 27 in August. You're correct, we ain't.
However, that may help us get him just that wee bit cheaper now too.
Maybe get him for around EUR12m, I'd say then.
I mean, that's what £10m clean with no players thru in.
Maybe they'll want Barron plus £8m? Is that one of the 2 players we're signing for £6-8m John alludes to, along with Braga maybe?
Fair play, mate.
18 Jun 2026 08:46:59
Lewis had injury issues, as did his father. Are Lewis' injuries just one of those things, or does 15 mill euros seem risky? Yea, every signing could be seen to be a risk, but surely not your marquee signing.
18 Jun 2026 09:14:15
Happens with most footballers, Teddy, but for being close to 27 years old, Lewis hasn't had a great deal of injuries, noticed him getting kicked a few times during the Scotland game last Saturday, straight up.
18 Jun 2026 11:01:54
Lewis is fine.
M***'s will always get a few injuries.
I'd happily pay EUR12-15m for him, absolutely no problem.
