Hi all, todays info re summer window.

Iheanacho is a live link, he is however on the upward of 60k a week. We wouldn't be close to paying that, he however won't have an offer to match his current Leicester wage.
Callum Ohare has been approached, however Burnley are infront of us to pull off the bosman.

Roofe, Borna and jack won't be offered deals.

Lunny has been but Seems off to Turkey. (length of contract the issue from Rangers) .

Dowell, Davies, Lawrence will be moved on. Cantwell (seems to moving on too) has anyone else picked that up?
No gerrard interest in Tav

Butland will be offered a new bumper contract with a release clause.

i can see those outgoings definitely and i can see tav still here too, i would prefer a whole new defence because we cannot rely on goodson and souter at the heart again, they’re neither good enough for europe or a title bid, celtic will throw cash at rodgers without doubt, we must be ready.

Also I recon the only thing that would motivate him to go back down south would be money so a new bumper deal with a decent release clause is great for both parties.

Club also wanting to get Cortes and Sima signed up although Sima is dependent on the fee Brighton want obviously.

Lawrence, Davies, Dowell, all free to leave in the summer, most likely back down south although Davies will be hard to shift as he was last two transfer windows.

I like Sima but he is another with a history of injuries, Cortes looked good but maybe too many games too soon after not playing much done him in, again does him pulling up with a hamstring mean he's going to go down the Yilmaz route of looking good when he plays but being out too often. This season has shown that we need robust reliable players.

Anything we get for Lawrence and Dowell could split the difference of what we don't get for Davies and just cut our losses to get 3 high earners off the wage bill and replace them with hungry younger players looking to make their name in Europe. Genuinely excited to see what Koppen pulls out the bag, he'll know himself he can only get to a bigger club himself if he excels here.

Just read an article about Tav being interviewed about the poty nominations with butland and orielly and shankland, saying he's speaking to club about his testimonial and that the Saudi speculation is not new news, the only bit that's new is goldson being added to it, maybe SWS's faith he's staying maybe correct. Firstly I like a lot of what Tavs has brought to club over the years but the fact he has lost good yard of pace and will be 33 in Oct - realism kicks in here and if we were to get around 5 million for return seems more than fair imo -realistically it may be bit less- not many clubs will splash big cash for players at that age and stage of career - we shall see
I am more than happy to see wholesale changes at the back however as our defence has run its course imo👍PC over to you!

that kind of cash fir that age would be a fantastic offer even fir a great defender, be crazy not to sell, we have becone reliant on free kicks and oens, strikers and midfielders can take them, great from dead ball when shooting, pretty often poor when crossing, an enigma really, can't defend, scores a lot, but we need mid and up top scoring the goals and the full back doing his job,

I will be happy of Tav stays so long as we strengthen the centre of our defence and improve the general quality of the squad.
That said, as much for Tav as for us, I wouldn't begrudge him picking up a few years 'mega earnings' from Saudi with us picking up £5m+ in the process.

Our much more pressing need is for two top quality centre back, (Goldson is done and Souttar is not the answer) . We also need a major upgrade on Lundstram for that midfield role and we additionally need two quality wingers, (which could be Sima and Cortes providing their injury woes are behind them, and we clearly need to add at least one striker to replace Roofe.
That is just for our first eleven.

Jack Butland, unless an offer comes in that we just can't refuse will be a Rangers Players next year. Considering the circumstances in which he arrived under Beale and the transition to PC and obviously the negative press the team have been getting especially on off days like recently, I feel he will relish being #1 with a fresh start next year and the excitement of playing with new signings of which i feel will be quality . Congrats to our goalie for his awards last night. well deserved.

Personally I don't believe that Butland's prime reason for joining us was to get back in the 'shop window'. I believe that he primarily wanted guaranteed first team football and the opportunity to win trophies.

I don't believe that money is a major motivator, he will earn well with us.
I do believe however that he came up too Scotland to win trophies, including the league, and play in Europe, (something that he won't have the opportunity to do in England unless he was to sign for one of the top six sides). This is where the problem lies.

We need to see a substantial upgrade in the quality of players we sign and we need to build a squad that is more than capable of winning the league and progressing in the op European Tournament.

The summer will show how ambitious our current Board is. More of what we have seen since we won 55 and Butland will be off, (probably sold), securing Butland and building from the back with a top quality back four, a solid midfield and showing that we mean business and he will be our keeper next season.

The Ajax boy is out of contract in summer could be an interesting move but been injured a lot this season.
