Looks like Shankland deal is the real deal this time around guys

Just spoke to a friend who's a massive Hearts season ticket holder on messenger he said he's hearing he will be a Rangers player this coming season and said he wishes him good luck

Genuinely think Shankland will be a great player for us and will score plenty of goals

definitely think Skoglund will be next

Anyone hearing anything else around Graham if that's a definite yet along with Watt

all other rumours are welcome too πŸ˜ŠπŸ’™.

24 May 2026 09:50:03
Just read that Rangers are trying to sign him before the World Cup.

24 May 2026 09:50:54
Rangers and Graham have apparently agreed personal terms.

24 May 2026 09:59:23
Feeling a lot more positive this Sunday morning. πŸ’™

24 May 2026 10:07:28
Good news, Stig.

24 May 2026 10:10:54
Great news. If he is indeed a free transfer then it's great business.

24 May 2026 10:11:01
Delighted with this news, especially so that it's not going to be a long drawn out saga.

24 May 2026 10:13:37
My main problem with this is, there's no way Skankland is on a 1 yr with the option of 2 years & it's more likely the other way, so we'll have to pay a big fee & that money should be spent on more important positions like RB, CB & GK.

24 May 2026 10:17:21
DJB, money will be spent on those positions, positive signing for me.

24 May 2026 10:52:39
Aye

Shankland
Ferguson
and
Andy Robertson.

πŸ˜‚

24 May 2026 10:56:22
About time. Tom will be pleased as he's always posted the fact that we should be signing him. Could be a game changer for us.

24 May 2026 10:56:40
We need leaders. Shankland is the Hearts Captain. Great news. Get this done, Rangers.

24 May 2026 12:42:27
I reckon was always right about Shankland.

Tom knew what he could bring to the club on and off the park.

His signing would be a show of intent that we were going to be moving in the right direction at last.

24 May 2026 13:18:25
DJB, if he's on a free as reported there will be no fee. Remember he held out until the last minute before re-signing for Hearts last summer, so this may well be the deal they agreed. He was waiting for Rangers then and we didn't do anything. He may well have wanted to make sure he was available if we came calling.

24 May 2026 08:38:50
One for John

At the Hong Kong Sevens, talk around the team is that Lawson has been told he will be part of the first team squad next season?

And been given assurances that he will be vying for a starting jersey not just in there to make up the numbers

Agree7 Disagree0

24 May 2026 09:22:13
From what I have heard, Rohl wants to progress more young players to the squad next seasons, and this is one of the moves that has been put to Bailey Rice to why he should sign a new contract as will be a first team regular.

24 May 2026 09:31:58
Rice won't be a first team regular, New, but hopefully he signs a long contract. I'd be loaning him out if he does.

24 May 2026 09:37:15
Send him to Killie, My Star. 😁

24 May 2026 10:14:18
Think the youngsters like Lawson and Mcalion should be getting 5-10 first team apps, then in January see if any top flight clubs want a loan.

24 May 2026 11:49:49
At this is correct.

24 May 2026 16:08:03
My star first team regular does not mean that he will be starting. He will be on the bench and brought on when we can, then they will look to loan him out for half a season for first team regular football.

24 May 2026 07:07:45
Big rumours shankland signing. He signed a 1 year contract with option of a further 2 years but he won't take up that option would love this to be true

Agree3 Disagree0

24 May 2026 07:45:18
If he does indeed have a release clause and we match it, then this could very well be true. Definitely could be the "leader" Rohl and AC have been talking about. Would take him in a heartbeat.

You can see the difference he makes on the pitch. Absolutely buzzin if this is true. It would be great if the club announced it before the World Cup, so we have something to look forward to.

24 May 2026 08:06:36
Leaders, Gersgirl.

24 May 2026 08:16:23
Best signing since Gazza if we get him, but we said it years ago.

24 May 2026 08:31:31
Shankland over Miovski is a no brainer. We need someone who gets it for every position to keep the intensity. That's why I'd get McLean too. They don't need to be starters.

24 May 2026 08:37:37
Rabbi, if we play with 2 strikers we will need 4 strikers at club imo.

24 May 2026 08:45:34
If indeed the rumours of the clause are true, Rangers should not hesitate to capitalise, though the word "If" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

I am in the camp that believes Shankland should already have been at Rangers. The bloomer of last summer's window was rejecting an early bid from AEK Athens for Cyriel Dessers of around 4m whist Shankland was still a free agent.

It looks as though Miovski will not be a part of Danny's plans next season, and Danilo will be spun around in any direction possible, so getting Shankland would be a smart piece of business. With the caveat of "IF" the rumours are true of him having a "Rangers Clause" are true. It all sounds a bit like a Santa Clause to me, but many still want to believe in him also.

24 May 2026 08:46:58
Doesn't sound like a release clause, more like a Bosman?

He has an option of triggering a 2yr extension on his current 1yr deal. Surely, that means if he doesn't trigger it, he can leave for free?

24 May 2026 09:00:16
Excellent start to the window if this is true.

24 May 2026 09:01:12
I did subtly hint at this when posting about Shankland's comments on Robertson's video earlier in the week, but don't think anyone caught it.

24 May 2026 09:20:49
I must have missed your hint, Ehl. πŸ€” What did Shankland say, mate, and what's your view? πŸ€” Do you personally think Rangers will sign Lawrence Shankland, mate? πŸ€”

24 May 2026 09:20:59
I have heard that if Shankland comes he will be given the captain role as well as seen as a true leader. Which was proven how better Hearts played when he returned from injury.

24 May 2026 09:33:35
Good few leaders will be signed. Really can't see Shankland being captain though, New.

24 May 2026 16:09:38
My star, why not? He is captain at Hearts and has been a proven leader, with respect from the rest of the team. He also leads from the front.

23 May 2026 22:45:11
Daily Record reporting move for Shankland coming in the next 48 hrs.

Not sure how I feel about this one people.

Thoughts?

Is he really the answer? People have said for the past 2/3 seasons we'd have won league if he'd been our player.

Is he past his peak?

On another note, who's watching the boxing and who's winning?

Agree3 Disagree0

24 May 2026 01:00:04
100% should have been signed years ago.

Like Ferguson as well.

No brainer, and if it's a free.

24 May 2026 01:09:22
Only 31, he's got 4 years in him yet.

Great signing, better late than never.

He, Chermiti and Naderi will do for me.

24 May 2026 01:13:50
A leader and possible vice captain.

24 May 2026 01:21:35
He's not the messiah, he's just a very good goalscorer.

About time. Hopefully it's true!

24 May 2026 01:39:39
Gazza, Daily Record, never believe a word they say, mate, well I certainly don't.

24 May 2026 02:30:35
One of my least favourite phrases when people talk about potential signings is "is he the answer?" What is the question?

Would he be a good signing, and does he improve the team? Yes, he does in my opinion, whether that makes him the answer to whatever question people refer to, I'm not sure.

24 May 2026 04:36:40
Is the transfer window opening early? Can't see Bloom making it easy.

24 May 2026 06:15:01
If we win the league, then he's the answer.

24 May 2026 06:52:54
Peterpan, what would the transfer window being open have to do with it? Clubs can agree transfers outside the window! Being that Shankland signed a 1 year deal at Hearts last summer, he's also been free to talk to clubs since January, so again, what's the window being open got to do with it?

24 May 2026 06:55:06
He signed a 1 yr extension with Hearts at start of season with optional 2 years, but he's not taken up the 2 years and will now sign for Rangers in next few days.

24 May 2026 07:04:53
The Scottish Sun newspaper also reporting that Rangers hope to finalise a deal to sign Hearts captain and striker Lawrence Shankland within the next 48 hours. 😲 We could have signed Shankland for nothing and now will have to pay a decent fee to get him. πŸ€” That's why I just couldn't see us going for Shankland when other posters over the last couple of days were posting there was a possible deal in the pipeline, so well done you guys for your info.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ If we do sign Shankland I welcome him wholeheartedly to Rangers because there's one thing, he's Rangers to the core, not to mention he's a natural finisher. πŸ‘Œ πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Let's see what unfolds and what Hearts want for him. πŸ€”

24 May 2026 07:22:10
Shankland is much more than just a goalscorer.

The most important thing about him is that he's a leader. I wouldn't be surprised if he became our new captain.

24 May 2026 07:26:39
If we do sign Lawrence Shankland, where does he play in our Rangers starting 11, fellow bears? πŸ€” Surely, if he does sign, and at his age of almost 31 years old, he'll be wanting assurances that he's a first team starter, I would have thought.

πŸ€” πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ I doubt very much he would leave as captain of Hearts and first team regular to sit on the bench at Rangers. πŸ€”

24 May 2026 07:27:01
All I can see is Hearts announced he signed a 3 year deal. Transfermarkt has him out of contract summer of 2028. At the moment, there's no credible source to say it was a 1 year deal with option of further 2. Strange, Hearts would announce it as a 3 year deal.

24 May 2026 07:43:06
This is a controversial opinion, but I don't see the point in signing Shankland unless Chermiti is away. I think Shankland is obviously a great goal scorer and a leader, that's stating the obvious, but I don't think he gets a game over Chermiti. I also think Naderi is one of the hardest working strikers I've seen in many a years at Rangers too, and with the fee we paid, I don't think he was a project player. Not rubbishing on the Shankland parade, I'm in the camp of he should have been signed seasons ago, but as silly as it may sound to others, he isn't better than Chermiti.

Does Rohl go for a 2 up front? Does 2 strikers with the same slow paced/hold up/target man work? Possibly, does come down to what wingers we get, fast build up play, balls whipped in the box, something we've been seriously lacking. We've been criminally slow for a few seasons now in terms of attacking play.

24 May 2026 07:52:15
I was on the fence about Shankland, still am tbh, but seeing more of him this season, his link up play and not to mention his goals, think he could do a job, let's wait n see if the reports are accurate.

24 May 2026 08:01:08
I would take him as he is a better option than Miovski and Naderi, and it's also nothing to do with Bloom.

24 May 2026 08:09:03
Irvine, how many cf's would you like? Need a few cf's, Chermiti, Naderi, Shankland, probably sell Miovski and sign another if playing with two.

24 May 2026 08:15:56
134 games for Hearts, 72 goals.

24 May 2026 08:17:15
Not for me.
We were told by a few that if we had Shankland, we would have won the league.
So why didn't Hearts, as they had a better season than us?

24 May 2026 08:25:42
I'm similar to you on this Fork. I wasn't a fan of him signing previously, and still not 100% it would be the right thing, however, having seen more of him this season, I have been impressed with his all round play. I've always liked Chermiti, so would want him kept, but Shankland is a lot better than Miovski and Naderi based on last season.

He would bring leadership, and at 31 could still have a few decent years in him. He's never had pace, but has become a clever player with his positioning. I think I'm veering towards signing him after reading that back!!

24 May 2026 08:28:50
Not for me either. Seems like something to appease the support. If we got him on a free, then yes he'd be a good option to have, but wouldn't pay good money for him now.
Don't see him as a starter, option from bench.

24 May 2026 08:31:57
My Star - 3 is perfect, mate. I'm not being negative, lads. I'd be more than happy to have Shankland. If our 3 choices of strikers next season are Shankland, Chermiti and Naderi, then I'd be one happy fan. But I can't help but think this kinda hints towards a Chermiti sale. I'd be gutted if he left.

24 May 2026 08:34:31
Broste, he'll be one of the leaders signed. Can't see him being captain like a few have said, only because he won't be starting every game.
Chuffed if he signs though.

24 May 2026 08:38:05
Because Celtic had a better season than them.

24 May 2026 08:39:13
I could see Shankland having the same effect on Chermiti and Naderi that Defoe had on Morelos and others! They are raw and Shankland is ice cold! We have enough games next season to utilise all 3; Shankland could play with either of them in a front 2, and even in the dressing room he could be invaluable!

24 May 2026 08:47:49
True. Good point, Doubleshuffle.

24 May 2026 08:54:04
The best part is, if he does sign, Steve Clarke won't pick him to play him at the World Cup, so he will come back in peak condition.

24 May 2026 09:05:21
For the posters saying if we do happen to sign Shankland he'll be on the bench, I absolutely doubt that, guys. πŸ€” There's no way, if we sign Shankland, that he's leaving Hearts as their captain and regular starter to sit on our bench at 31 years old, no chance. πŸ€” πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

24 May 2026 09:35:26
Sws, not 31 for a few months, mate, Shankland won't be guaranteed starts.

24 May 2026 09:37:10
He will be playing in a 2. Simple as that.

24 May 2026 09:40:52
If he comes, he comes, not fussed either way, although we do need experience.

However, he scored 1 goal more than Chermiti in the league last season, but his shots on target were worse and his scoring percentage was worse. So perhaps young Yousef might be the one doing the teaching. πŸ˜‰ So, yes, his experience will help, but Chermiti on his own is doing okay.

24 May 2026 09:52:52
Correction to my original post. It was an exclusive on Sun Sport Rangers, not Daily Record.

I found the boxing last night very strange.

24 May 2026 10:22:08
Lot to like about this one for me.

He's a better all round player than Chermiti for me, particularly outside the box (and that's the role I think he'd play with Chermiti as focal point). Nothing controversial in saying that for me, he's 31 and a seasoned pro against a guy learning his trade with one full season. Chermiti is better than Shankland was at 21, and will end up better with experience overall, which is why I'd keep him too.

They could be very good together.

Naderi, I wouldn't be surprised to see playing off one of the sides. He's got a lot of the Muller about him.

Shankland's also a leader, which we're sorely short on. And a Rangers fan to boot, which has always helped over the years.

If this is indeed a free transfer, then it's a no brainer for me.

24 May 2026 11:25:47
Shankland will score goals, we all know that, but it's the other aspects that make him a great signing. His workrate, holdup & linkup play, eye for a pass, positioning, leadership & experience, & for his size is a good threat at set pieces, not to mention blue blood in his veins. Think we can all agree every aspect above has been missing for some time.

If we get him free, even better, but if we pay anything for him, it's bad business considering he could have replaced Dessers last summer for nothing. I can see 2 up top, Chermiti & Shankland. I'd have no complaints at all with that, esp if we get a couple of decent wingers & midfielders in too, & give them the service many strikers have lacked for years.

24 May 2026 11:52:26
Gdog, Chermiti link up is different class.

24 May 2026 12:06:12
Well. he's possibly not the answer to the keeper, right back, midfield or winger question

What he is in my very honest and experienced opinion is

The biggest, most obvious and utterly ridiculous ( given his live for this club) ignorant
And bizarre mistake if the past 5 years or so

Lets hope someone has seen the obvious eh

And we might not have won, but we would have given our chances a mammoth boost, its not too late.

24 May 2026 16:12:41
I disagree, my star. Sometimes it's good, sometimes he looks like he couldn't trap a bag of cement or pass the ball 5 yards. Which is just something you get with young forwards, nothing to be concerned with, and not a major criticism. The talent is there for sure, but the consistency isn't. If it were (and, when it comes), he'd be nowhere near us (which I suspect, in a year or two, he won't be).

I like Chermiti (other than the fee paid) and think he'll go on to be a very good player.

But, for me, he's an inexperienced player with plenty of talent who blows hot and cold. Shankland was nowhere near as promising at Chermiti's age, but is a better all round player than him at 31.

When Chermiti gets to 31, long before that actually, he'll be better than Shankland.

I genuinely think they could be good together.

23 May 2026 21:21:24
Hearts friend of mine has just forwarded some messages from a forum that Shankland is away to Rangers, he has a clause in his contract that he can leave for Rangers for nothing before 7th July.
I'd be amazed if it's true but thought I'd share it anyway since it's a rumours site after all 😬.

I personally can't see us signing him as we've had plenty chances.

Agree8 Disagree0

23 May 2026 21:30:36
I can't see Tony Bloom putting a clause in a contract like that, especially for nothing.

23 May 2026 21:31:12
There's been a bit of talk over the past few days on here about a clause. Would love Shankland.

23 May 2026 21:33:03
It's not true.

Clause supposedly around the Β£3m mark. Fingers crossed we get it done.

23 May 2026 21:45:50
I'm the same as goatboy. Can't see this being the case with the contract.
Although, he did take an age to sign. So, there must be something in there, who knows. Would love to see him at Rangers but he couldn't play with Chermiti I don't think, and he's our first choice.

23 May 2026 22:08:42
No one is going to put a clause in their player's contract saying he can leave for nothing.

23 May 2026 22:19:36
DeBoer, whilst I don't think this is true, it's happened before.

23 May 2026 22:38:52
Now being reported by the chief writer in the Sun that Shankland has played his last game for Hearts and looks to be on his way.

23 May 2026 22:39:18
It's nothing to do with Tony Bloom, he doesn't own Hearts.

23 May 2026 22:54:50
Heard the same about Shankland on a free. 🀞

23 May 2026 22:59:17
Seen quite a few posts across socials saying free clause to us only for Shankland, before the OP mentioned the 7th.

23 May 2026 23:16:45
The Sun has now reported that we are looking to get the deal done before the WC. Would be delighted with this, an absolute no brainer.

23 May 2026 23:24:30
This has legs.

23 May 2026 23:39:46
I doubt it, but if you're a Rangers fan and you're a free and Hearts desperate to re-sign you, would you not agree to anything to keep him, even if it's just for 6months to buy you time or even hope they don't come in.

If true, sounds like Shankland was a smart man.

23 May 2026 23:39:57
Tickly bit.

23 May 2026 23:41:16
Clubs desperate enough to keep a guy that can walk for nothing might just agree to anything. Doubt it, but you never know, maybe only way he would sign for Hearts.

23 May 2026 23:50:31
Deals all but done.

Good news.

24 May 2026 00:13:29
Rumour of it being a free deal is all over X and Hearts forums so this might just have legs. Heart and Hand also replying to Ewan Cameron saying you'll take his release clause and like it. πŸ˜‚

24 May 2026 00:26:59
Ewan Cameron saying on his X account that Shankland only signed a 1 year deal with an option of an additional 2, but will not take up that option and we have made our move. As sources go, I'd say Ewan Cameron should be a good one.

24 May 2026 00:31:56
Shankland, Chermiti and Naderi are 3 really good striker options that all offer different things. Massive fan of that. Maybe Rohl sticking to the 4222 then?

Either way. That's one position absolutely sorted. Just the rest of the park to go!. πŸ˜‚

24 May 2026 00:51:14
With the chances we create, Shankland would score 25 goals easy for us.
And, not just the goals he'd bring to the team, he's a leader, he knows the league and is a fan, he literally ticks every box we are crying out for.
This would be a tremendous start to our rebuild this summer.
I for 1, sincerely hope it's legit.

24 May 2026 00:51:40
Could he be our new captain.

24 May 2026 07:09:33
John, when you say the Shankland to Rangers deal has legs, is your info for a fee inserted in his contract or, as some have said, for nothing mate? πŸ€”

24 May 2026 07:28:05
As I mentioned before, there is a clause in his contract for certain clubs/leagues. It won't be for free but story has legs.

24 May 2026 09:38:22
There is a very workable fee. As mentioned before over last few days.

23 May 2026 09:50:36
Good friend of mine back home in Scotland was telling me, Hearts are very interested in Tav, also Devlin could be heading to the chamber of secrets, and Rangers have inquired about Braga, he works at hearts, personally I take everything with a pinch of salt until it actually happens

Agree1 Disagree0

23 May 2026 11:00:58
Think Tav would want out of Scotland, personally.
Devlin also linked to the us.
Would take Braga, but would be interesting to see the price they put on him. You see Bowie go for 7m, don't imagine Hearts accepting less than 5m.

23 May 2026 11:09:16
Would be very surprised if Tav took a 25kplus pay cut.

23 May 2026 11:09:23
Honestly, at his age and the money the Scottish club pays, he would be better off retiring. Football is harsh on your boy, no point pushing it for another year or 2, doing more damage for peanuts compared to what he was on.

23 May 2026 11:14:44
Rfc, he has stated he has four years left playing v.

23 May 2026 11:40:40
Tav would be better off moving to a club abroad, see out his final few years in the sunshine.

23 May 2026 11:51:51
I suspect Tav will move to League 1.

23 May 2026 12:20:01
I kind of hope Tav gets a big pay day in Saudi. Would be good for him.

Won't be surprised if he ends up at Norwich.

23 May 2026 13:18:46
Tav has offers from the West Coast in MLS and also the English Championship.

Wolves, front runners from that league.

Rangers think we are close to Penrice and will be looking to bring Shankland in this window.

23 May 2026 13:19:35
Never mind a pinch of salt, a cellar of salt would be nearer the amount needed to believe Tav would go to Hearts. From his point of view, they couldn't afford his wages, and from their point of view, if he's "done" at Rangers he would be "done" at Hearts, and there is no sell on.

The other two rumours could be true, but that one won't happen.

23 May 2026 13:23:44
Whats The Story, I absolutely think we'll sign James Penrice, mate, but doubt very much we're even interested in Lawrence Shankland, never mind signing him. πŸ€” What makes you think we're even interested in Shankland, mate, if you don't mind me asking. πŸ€”

23 May 2026 13:41:35
Norwich Dado?

After (allegedly) going behind Clement's back to the board and getting him sacked?

23 May 2026 13:47:13
Already posted that about Tav @whiteshark63, and it seems to be gathering legs, but who knows, just have to wait and see.

23 May 2026 13:55:09
I would absolutely take Shankland, but I highly doubt we would be after him.
Personally think that ship has long since sailed.

Tav to Norwich is a non starter after how Clement left Rangers.

23 May 2026 14:08:30
Shankland best striker in Scottish football.
And would only enhance our team.

Leader on the park.
Knows our league.
Experienced player.
What's not to like?

23 May 2026 14:24:51
Blue, Shankland can only dream about having Chermiti abilities.

23 May 2026 15:00:32
Mystar, needs more than just Chermiti abilities to win us a league, bud, wouldn't you say. πŸ€”

23 May 2026 15:05:31
Chermiti is just a far superior player to Shankland, Blue, let's see how many he scores in his next season in his second proper season.

23 May 2026 15:06:01
Would be surprised if Tav stays in Scotland, as he was offered a 1 year extension before he decided to leave us, so if he was staying he would have stayed at Rangers.

23 May 2026 15:06:24
Sir Walter,

Folk close to both parties are believing there's a big chance of Shankland coming.

Especially with the release clause.

23 May 2026 15:21:07
Lol the Rangers way pass up Shankland twice for nothing or practically nothing then pay a stupid fee when at peak price, mental, if true. Think we should just accept we missed that boat with the player's age now. A free made sense but not a big fee.

23 May 2026 15:21:33
Hope you are correct, Mystar, but that was not what I said. "We still need more than the ability of Big Chermiti to win us a title." πŸ‘

23 May 2026 15:46:32
What is the so-called fee in Shankland's "release clause"? Does anyone know?

23 May 2026 16:12:43
Tav has 100% got an offer to stay in Scotland. Hearts would be the obvious option for it.

23 May 2026 16:23:10
What's The Story, so what is Shankland's release clause and who close from both parties is saying it might be happening, mate? πŸ€”

23 May 2026 16:27:29
With Hearts now having Bloom at the helm. Wouldn't their budget for wages be a bit higher now? Isn't he the guy who owns Brighton and is a multi billionaire?

23 May 2026 17:39:22
How do things work out if Hearts fail to qualify for the UCL and drop into the UEL? Both Hearts and Brighton could be in the same competition. Surely there are Two Club Ownership implications.

23 May 2026 17:44:49
Jasper, Bloom has kept himself right, not got enough control of Hearts.

23 May 2026 18:03:12
Thanks MyStar, I wasn't sure.

23 May 2026 18:06:33
Here's hoping, WhatsTheStory. I'd argue someone of Shanklands proved quality and experience is the difference between a title in some of the races we've been in - defos under Clement.

I'd love to see him in our colours. Gives us a massive boost and the way he plays could give us a solid few years of goals. Good info - keep them coming.

23 May 2026 18:48:08
I am sure I read Braga was heading to Brighton for Β£8m.

23 May 2026 19:53:16
Just watching Oli McBurnie grabbing the winning goal in the English Premier Play-Off.
I guess any chance of getting him now, If we wanted him, would be zero.

Just another player who I'd have at Ibrox in a heartbeat.

23 May 2026 20:39:09
Albertz, read that also. Brighton looks like the obvious destination for Braga given how much Tony Bloom watched Hearts this season (was never away from the place). He's seen enough of him to know his qualities. Crystal Palace also interested. Got a sneaky suspicion Cammy Devlin will leave Scotland altogether for pastures new.

Regarding Tav, I really can't see him lining up against us with another team in Scotland, EHL reckons League 1, so I suspect he's heard something. Maybe Bradford City, his home town club.

23 May 2026 20:40:29
As far as attacking is concerned, Shankland will get there as soon as he can. Let's just stop that. We could have got him for nuthin and certainly won't be paying for him now. He's better off staying with Man Eh FC

Big Ollie, a winner today again and now Premier League man, ugly, arrogant and aggressive. We haven't seen much of that for a while.

EHL mentioned him earlier today.

22 May 2026 19:43:19
EHL mentioned him earlier.

22 May 2026 19:43:38
He's in the team of players we're scouting that I posted on the discussions page.

We've been watching him for a while now. Seems to be highly rated.

22 May 2026 19:48:07
Ah, well, guess I missed it, EHL, lol.

22 May 2026 20:07:34
Had a look, seems to be out of contact.

22 May 2026 20:14:29
Had another look, just seen 2026, it is, but December.

22 May 2026 20:35:47
Would hope this isn't true as he can't get regular starts for them and doesn't have great stats for minutes played either.

RW has been a problem for us, and I would hope we could secure better.

22 May 2026 21:04:00
Another one we have left too late. Wolfsburg also sniffing around him.

22 May 2026 21:09:02
Has the look of another neat and tidy player. We're going to get nowhere again because this manager isn't going for players who will press and harass even if not having a great game.

22 May 2026 21:25:07
Marchdale, you do understand this is rumours of players. Do we even know if Rohl or Rangers are even interested? Nope!

22 May 2026 21:50:03
Would it not be the recruitment team anyway? Supposedly worth a pop at Rohl anyway.

22 May 2026 22:15:58
Marchdale. Football isn't as simple as you think it is.

23 May 2026 07:04:18
Yes, it's a rumour, but based on the info, it seems highly likely Rohl is after him. Not as simple. Well, I hope by that you mean there's more than one way to win, because that's something the team has been struggling with, and this is how we've been struggling.

23 May 2026 08:53:37
Oskar Fallenius thinks we need better.

23 May 2026 10:00:47
Was there not a rw shown round training centre a couple of weeks ago? Think the rumour was that a deal had been agreed with the player.

23 May 2026 10:57:28
Crazy players have a foreign name and people are all over it when some of our own have just as good a record.

23 May 2026 11:53:57
Forever, I don't think I've seen anyone go crazy over us scouting Fallenius?

But out of curiosity, who of our own has as good a record?

23 May 2026 14:12:50
As well, keepin Antman if that's the quality that we're chasing.

23 May 2026 15:24:12
I was speaking in general, EHL. It's been happening for years. Watched guys like Edu play four or 5 rotten games, but keep getting picked, while our own, you play maybe one bad game and people all of a sudden say not good enough. We need to start looking to progress our own more.

Curtis, good example, and compare King to Mayo. Mayo streets ahead, yet at times King was rated way better. Point is, Mayo played football, King sat on bench and got taken over just like Rice and Lennon Miller.

23 May 2026 17:08:09
Forever, even Ben Davies would start over Lewis Mayo. Seriously terrible take.

23 May 2026 18:32:43
Forever, did you miss that King played in the ECL for us when we were short? Mayo was 4 years older, but was sent on loan to Killie. King then sat on the bench because his confidence was shattered, but he at least played in the top club competition in the world (I don't count the Club World Cup, which is by invite only).

So, a lot of football people rated King better at a younger age, so much so they played him in the ECL. So, don't even know what your point is using him as an example.
