My mate just told me that Rangers have an eye on Lennon Miller from Udinese the Scottish Midfielder.

Agree2 Disagree0

03 Jun 2026 20:47:34
I just can't see that. Miller is now settled in Italy, Rangers-man.

03 Jun 2026 21:18:19
All the current Scots are doing well in Italy, and I would be very surprised if any of them come back here for a number of reasons.
Money good.
Climate good.
Quality of football good.
No hassle good.
A chance to make a great life, & hopefully a step up to one of the greats, the Milan teams, Juventus, etc.

03 Jun 2026 21:21:36
Only way they will come back is for more ££.

03 Jun 2026 21:26:40
Rangers should have had an eye on him when in the country, not saying it's not true, but can't see it happening.

03 Jun 2026 22:42:36
We may well have an eye on him, but Miller will not be at Rangers this coming season. He is loving it in Italy.

04 Jun 2026 04:23:05
His dad's well grounded, he will likely advise to continue his career in Italy, away from hassle, and gain valuable experience.

04 Jun 2026 09:12:22
Like, you know he's loving it in Italy, Storm. Did he tell you that lol.

04 Jun 2026 17:05:25
Davie u created the issue, else where u moan about storm being personal

You r the guy who has twice hung out Grahams mum for telling stories.

05 Jun 2026 10:49:16
Oooft. πŸ‘€πŸ€£πŸ‘

03 Jun 2026 15:20:16
Rangers have met with representatives of Swedish right back Hampus Skogland to discuss a move to the club.

Agree20 Disagree0

03 Jun 2026 15:30:37
Boy looks a unit. Rohl really is focusing on big robust lads.

03 Jun 2026 15:54:38
Four lads, good info. He has been shown around training centre and Ubrox.

03 Jun 2026 15:58:21
John, was that since the end of season? If so, then you'd assume a deal is coming along nicely.

03 Jun 2026 16:03:41
His season is not over.

03 Jun 2026 16:06:12
John, did he enjoy the subway?

03 Jun 2026 16:14:22
Did he drive a bus to training centre, John? πŸ₯΄

03 Jun 2026 16:35:38
Storm, πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ give it a rest, eh, or it starts becoming personal.

03 Jun 2026 16:47:57
Would feel good with this boy at right back and Rommens defending our left side.

03 Jun 2026 16:49:18
Davie, how is it personal? It's the 1st I have mentioned it since the thread and others have mentioned it a lot more, but you are only pulling me up? Now, that's you making it personal, not me. πŸ‘

03 Jun 2026 16:51:32
This coming from Rangers News?

03 Jun 2026 16:52:29
Cuillin. Preferred Mac Donald's.

03 Jun 2026 17:50:03
Yes, John, I am hearing talks have been positive and he's very keen on us.

03 Jun 2026 18:01:14
I had a good feeling this one would go through.

03 Jun 2026 18:09:33
He means that after the 450th mention of it, the 'joke' stops being funny. It isn't personal to you, it is to him. I think Davie has, in the main, taken it on the chin, but it has a limited shelf life, and perhaps it has gone off/out of date. Read the room. πŸ‘

03 Jun 2026 18:41:05
To add, absolutely nothing in the Swedish media on it.

Can file under nonsense.

03 Jun 2026 19:10:28
From what I've seen of Hampus Skoglund, and it's not been a great deal, as well as what I've read/heard about Skoglund, he looks a good, very assured right back and, in some ways, similar to what we have on our left side with Tuur Rommens. πŸ‘ I think he'd be a really good signing. πŸ€” Hope we can get him. πŸ™

03 Jun 2026 19:42:22
Great info Fourlads. Similar info to John. I heard his agent was at Ibrox and the training ground, and Hampus met Stig and dr. Happy to be proved wrong,
Looks like this is a goer.

03 Jun 2026 19:59:01
I beg to differ:
Swedish media, notably outlet Sportbladet, have linked 22-year-old Hammarby IF right-back Hampus Skoglund with a summer move to Rangers. The Gers are viewing the Sweden U-21 international as a key target to replace club legend James Tavernier, who departed Ibrox.
Just saying. πŸ‘

03 Jun 2026 20:13:45
What's the story in Swedish media earlier in the week. Also, now in Daily Record.

03 Jun 2026 20:15:08
Fork, don't disagree with the boss he knows better than everyone. πŸ˜‚

03 Jun 2026 20:22:23
Not this time, apparently, Wishy. πŸ‘πŸ€£

03 Jun 2026 20:26:46
Fork, just saying or dusk saying, mate. πŸ€ͺ

03 Jun 2026 19:13:59
four lads no just trying to point out that even the funniest jokes have a shelf life. I am in discussions with the Eds though as Storm seems regularly to think I decide what is posted. so if it is the case then surely they need to be paying me for that. πŸ˜‚

I thought it was acceptable to give some support to a poster when they are getting picked on; maybe not. 🀷

03 Jun 2026 21:03:28
U lost me Coops. πŸ€”πŸ‘

03 Jun 2026 21:36:41
Fair enough, Angus. 🀣🀣🀣

Whatsthestory, I don't read the Swedish media, pal, and my old Swedish skudbooks are up the loft. I can look one out for you if you need cheering up. πŸ˜‰

03 Jun 2026 21:40:49
Can file under nonsense! πŸ˜… I don't know if you mean it, WhatsTheStory, but you sound very dismissive of others' posts at times. You could get your point across in a nicer way, possibly. πŸ€” And, like others have said, it's actually on quite a few Swedish media outlets.

03 Jun 2026 21:49:51
It's a TV advert, Fork. πŸ˜‚

03 Jun 2026 22:02:03
Ah right, will watch out for it bud. πŸ‘

03 Jun 2026 23:17:29
More on skoglund on Tik Tok if you want to know more about him - looks decent πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
vm.tiktok.com/ZNR7sCmLS/

03 Jun 2026 23:22:16
it's coming from this source here which is dubious anyway.

Not been impressed by any of the scouting videos I've seen of him. Don't think he's the profile we need for such a key area.

04 Jun 2026 09:14:04
OK, we're all wrong and it's not online across Swedish media:
Hampus Skoglund, 22, has established himself in Hammarby IF over the last few seasons. The right-back has been linked with Girona, Wrexham, and Mainz in recent months.

Recently, reports also emerged that Scottish side Rangers FC have set their sights on Skoglund.

From Sportsbladet, Sweden's biggest go-to for sports information, in Aftonbladet publication.

Easily checked, but u go to Rangers News. 🀣

04 Jun 2026 09:18:13
From what clips I have watched of Skoglund, he seems very similar to Rommens, and if so I'd be happy if this deal gets completed, but to have 2 full backs that like to get forward we're desperate for that no 6 to sit in and cover.

04 Jun 2026 17:06:54
What's the story? There was nothing in Scottish media re Shankland.

03 Jun 2026 09:26:11
Friend of mine recently did a charity walk with some ex players.
They were saying they think Tav is not getting a testimonial.
Obviously this isn't a transfer rumour but after 11 years of service you'd think the club would give him the testimonial.

Agree10 Disagree0

03 Jun 2026 09:58:09
He deserves one for service. Also, most testimonials of late, I'm led to believe, money goes to charity or back into something of a good cause due to higher wages these times.

03 Jun 2026 10:06:22
It's not happening. He's officially no longer part of the club.
He actually wanted it last summer, but pushed it back to concentrate on the new season.

Then it all went to pot.

A shame how it ended, but sadly no testimonial.

03 Jun 2026 10:14:42
Should have been done last season while with us. Don't see when they could do it now. Will probably be with another club, so would they release him to play a friendly with us in preseason?

03 Jun 2026 10:26:10
No, Kaiser

That's the very reason why it wouldn't be logistically possible anyway. He will be under contract elsewhere in a few weeks.

03 Jun 2026 10:36:36
I'm not entirely sure on what's normal practice for testimonials (and I have a lot of respect for Tav), but if he isn't ending his career here, I don't think he should be getting a testimonial. I could be miles off the mark but I thought a testimonial was more of a retirement goodbye. (Especially as it's mentioned he could be another club's player).

03 Jun 2026 10:47:54
He was well paid, overpaid in fact. He is a rich man. Thanks for your service. I'm delighted he's gone.

03 Jun 2026 10:58:06
Nah, he should get a testimonial. Love him or hate him, he was a great servant, esp through rough times. If that's how we treat loyal, long serving players, then that is a terrible look for our club.

03 Jun 2026 11:14:40
He's away, and, to be perfectly honest, well paid over that period, so a no from me.

03 Jun 2026 11:28:40
Testimonials used to be to give players one last big payday. It's not needed in 2026, imo.

03 Jun 2026 11:44:36
Agree. It's not needed in this day and age.

03 Jun 2026 12:14:50
I would imagine, if he's contracted to another club, then complications of a testimonial would be highly complicated in case of injury.

03 Jun 2026 12:26:00
Testimonials were basically your pension lump sum, as most would go on to a different profession after football, buying a pub was a common one. Footballers' wages during this time, from large clubs, was a few times more than the average man, not getting more a week than a couple of years to most.

03 Jun 2026 12:40:12
They could organise a pre season friendly against Leeds United, which would work for two reasons. Designate it as a Tavernier Farewell Match with all the profits going to the Rangers Charity Foundation. Allan McGregor only played one minute of his Testimonial Match. He basically led the teams out and got a standing ovation as he was subbed. Tav could do the same if he is contracted elsewhere, and it at least gives him and the fans a chance to say proper cheerio.

For all the haters out there and the people that don't think he deserves it, then it's easy, they don't have to attend. Eleven years is a lot of matches and goals for the club, and he may even be the last player to do that kind of service. He deserves something.

03 Jun 2026 12:40:34
He had his contract honoured which he is entitled to do. Think about your own work.

If you signed a set time contract, would you accept not being paid if your gaffer didn't want you there anymore? Absolutely sickening comment to make about a club legend.

03 Jun 2026 12:42:18
I'm not sure Tavernier would want a testimonial for financial incentive, money would probably go to charity anyway.

Either way, he's not getting one now, I wouldn't think.

03 Jun 2026 12:47:08
How has Tav been greedy?

03 Jun 2026 12:55:20
Good post Gersforever.

03 Jun 2026 13:08:17
Totally agree, DTB, and what some choose to selectively forget regarding McCoist is he actually went 6 months without taking a wage which he agreed/chose to do to help the club. πŸ€” Big Jig did the same and chose to not take a wage for 6 months.

πŸ€” So, if some care to always have a go at super Ally and mention the negative in their eyes, have the decency to mention the other very good things he did to help our club and stop this agenda/selective nonsense. 😑 Absolutely not called for! πŸ‘Ž

03 Jun 2026 13:10:26
I actually thought players got a testimonial after 10 years service.

03 Jun 2026 13:14:03
McCoist Mculloch et al deferred their wages.

03 Jun 2026 13:22:16
Testimonial would be a good way to mark his service. Money to charity.
Did we not mistreat Wallace a bit too?
Man, who'd want to be our captain?

03 Jun 2026 13:34:38
Correct, Bazbear, i.e. Wallace.

03 Jun 2026 14:33:11
Whatever they done, deferred/didn't take pay, it was done to help the club.

DTB/Coops totally agree. Some of our fans are bewildering sometimes.

Whatever you think of Tav, how often did he cry off injured or not show up 100% in training?

I'm not his biggest fan as a captain or his conduct at the end, but please be balanced!

03 Jun 2026 14:42:24
Testimonials are of the past when players were paid buttons. Tav has earned around 15million. Why should he get a testimonial? To buy another couple of Lamborghinis?

03 Jun 2026 15:00:46
Athole, I know Big Jig and I know his dad John very well and I absolutely know what's true, mate. πŸ‘

03 Jun 2026 15:02:50
No Lisbon, nowadays they give their testimonial money to a chosen charity of their own, mate. πŸ€” Tav, for his service and commitment to Rangers over his 11 years, deserves a testimonial game in my eyes. πŸ€”

03 Jun 2026 15:34:25
Swsobe, good post re Ally & Big Jig going without wage to help the club in our hour of need. Well said, mate.

03 Jun 2026 15:52:15
But deferred doesn't mean didn't take pay. Did it not mean they didn't take it at the time but were paid at a later date? If it isn't that then deferred isn't the right word.

03 Jun 2026 15:57:25
Walter and so do I because McCoist to D me over dinner, of course our accounts may have been fraudulent.

03 Jun 2026 16:17:08
Mass79, if that's how we treat loyalty? What u mean the captain that refused to b stripped for the bench and never stayed to support his teammates for that game, is that what u call loyalty.

03 Jun 2026 16:19:03
Agreed, Dtb and Coops. Angus, no one is saying they didn't get the money, but they did defer to help the club, but, once again, you need to put a different point across for no reason whatsoever than just to be different. Honestly man. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Tav, after throwing his toys out the pram and refusing to go on subs bench, didn't deserve a testimonial in my opinion, as he thought he was bigger than the club, so got what he deserved, nothing.

That's me, not hating on him, just my opinion, that is all.

03 Jun 2026 16:54:18
imo, although not a fan, he should have got a testimonial.

03 Jun 2026 17:33:17
Gazza, loyalty was staying with us when we went down, when many others jumped, rubbish. A player who was rarely injured scored many goals & was a fantadtic servant for a decade.

The game you mention, there was nothing to play for, so why shouldn't he be annoyed at not getting to lead the boys out one last time? As it stands, he didn't even get a proper send off, so yes, it was a disgrace whatever your thoughts on Tav were.

03 Jun 2026 18:14:13
It isn't a different point. It is a point to show they weren't being that magnanimous. To be that for the club, they would have written the salary off. I will say no more about you, as I am trying to be magnanimous on this. πŸ‘

02 Jun 2026 19:39:29
Rumour going about that just is coming in for a medical before flying out for the WC, dunno if its true just saw it on fb.

Agree3 Disagree0

02 Jun 2026 20:29:46
It's fake news. Some daft Twitter account reporting it.

02 Jun 2026 20:37:21
Thought as much tbh, but on the off chance I thought I'd share.

02 Jun 2026 21:20:34
A Twitter account is talking nonsense about this to farm engagement from Rangers fans, lads, nothing more.

02 Jun 2026 21:24:38
It's bs New Zealand are playing Hatati in the middle of the night or whatever they are called.

03 Jun 2026 00:05:55
100% a player we must be going for tho.

03 Jun 2026 07:44:08
Just did not play last night. 10 subs used by each team, he wasn't involved at all!!

03 Jun 2026 07:52:14
Related to this rumour, I'm told Motherwell were approached last week about Elijah Just by Rangers.

03 Jun 2026 08:57:37
Dundee blue bear, just played 65 minutes last night, so not sure which game you were watching.

03 Jun 2026 09:34:12
Of all the Motherwell players
Just and Watt are the pick of the bunch for me.
Just is only 23, if I remember right. Signing him would improve the team instantly.

03 Jun 2026 10:30:13
Just is older than you think, Alex. I checked last week, he is 26, so not a kid, although he looks it.

03 Jun 2026 11:24:17
Ah, my mistake, Dado.
I still rate him highly. He's a player who would give more to the team than Aasgaard, for instance.

03 Jun 2026 11:30:42
Reo Hatati?

03 Jun 2026 16:21:08
Dundee, maybe want to check the game again as he started for New Zealand, so I don't know what you are talking about. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

02 Jun 2026 14:34:51
Another rumour, but this time upfront.
Rangers would let Miovski go.
But they are keeping tabs on his North Macedonia teammate.
Elmin Rastoder?
Currently playing in the Swiss League.
Can play CF, LW and AM.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Jun 2026 16:05:13
Big lad, just had a good season. πŸ‘

02 Jun 2026 20:26:23
His numbers this season have been class.

02 Jun 2026 21:04:10
Be good to have one or two utility type players who can cover a few positions through out the squad mph. Never heard of the boy but will have a look pal

02 Jun 2026 14:26:07
Rumour mill is in overdrive.
Workmate says the deal for Ferguson was never a goer.
But we are looking at Icelandic attacking midfielder Kristian Hlynsson.
12 goals and 4 assists last season.
Plays for FC Twente.

Agree4 Disagree0

02 Jun 2026 14:36:45
Is your workmate connected to those close to the club or the approach to Ferguson, MPH?

02 Jun 2026 14:43:14
What approach πŸ‘€? There's nothing concrete anywhere. Just rumours n hearsay, mainly from those that want him on here.

02 Jun 2026 14:46:12
Must be a team mate of big Sam Lammers and Boaby Propper? Is your workmate usually reliable for information?

02 Jun 2026 14:52:04
Well, apparently from those who attended the Louden at weekend, Ian Durrant mentioned club were actively going for Ferguson post World Cup.

02 Jun 2026 15:07:15
I'd like Ferguson in if possible.

02 Jun 2026 15:14:40
I've never thought Ferguson was a goer for a minute. His next contract is his last big earner. He should accept as much as he can and secure his family's future. He's 27, if Shankland can come here at close to 31, so can he. Still time.

02 Jun 2026 15:25:58
WhatsTheStory, Durrant's boy posted on X that the rumour was made up that he said it. But others then said they were there and it wasn't made up. So take from that what you will.

I don't think it's likely, but wouldn't say no if it could happen.

02 Jun 2026 14:46:25
No. He was just passing on a rumour like I've then done.
But the next time, I'll shine a light on his coupon, then waterboard him before electrocuting his haw maws to get to the truth.πŸ‘

02 Jun 2026 15:52:03
That's usually the best way, MPH. I think we should do that with incoming players too.

02 Jun 2026 15:58:05
That would be good, cheers, Mph. Can't have us reading any old tripe on these boards.

02 Jun 2026 17:00:56
Every single person should be copying Mph playbook before posting a rumour. It's the right way to do things, then we won't have so many false rumours. Be back in a second, just finishing this water boarding off. 😁

02 Jun 2026 17:18:17
Only boarding you're doing is the ironing. πŸ‘€πŸ˜‡

02 Jun 2026 18:18:25
Here's me acting all macho, Fork comes in and blows it right out the water, with an absolute home truth, busted. πŸ€¬πŸ˜‰

02 Jun 2026 19:02:46
Ayrshire his boy probably covering for his auld das drunken antics. πŸ˜‚

02 Jun 2026 19:10:36
Lol one does try BB. πŸ˜‰πŸ€£

02 Jun 2026 21:06:52
Fork, believe it or not I was actually hoovering when you posted that, had a right chuckle to myself. You know me too well, so am just going to drop the pretence. 🀭

02 Jun 2026 21:24:59
Vision of Freddie Mercury with the hoover singing, "I want to break free". πŸ˜„πŸ‘

03 Jun 2026 06:49:49
Drill his tenth MPH demanding to know if it's safe for Ferguson to return to Scotland. 😁😁

02 Jun 2026 11:05:05
Portuguese football Media Company,
Central 90 - Mercado de TransferΓͺncias e mais are reporting the Youssef Chermiti are a transfer target for FC Porto. Porto are reportedly putting together an offer in the region of €20 million.
Screenshot will be put onto sightings page.

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Jun 2026 11:51:39
Jasper Porto won't get Chermiti for that fee, mate, they better dig much deeper as we absolutely don't need to sell. πŸ€”

02 Jun 2026 11:53:38
Wouldn't be selling for any less than 25m. Boys, Gony get 30 goals easy this season.

02 Jun 2026 11:55:52
Double it.

02 Jun 2026 11:56:34
I agree, Sir Walter. I'd be looking for a fair bit more before even considering selling.

02 Jun 2026 12:00:23
20 mill bid, will show if we mean business! & I'm sure Chermiti wouldn't mind playing in Portugal for his international ambitions.
Would we take it with 5mill addons & or 20% of any future transfer?

02 Jun 2026 12:12:35
Anything around 20m+ with add ons is a good deal for me for someone who was a miss for a large part of the season. If he stays, great, but if not, that's a decent fee.

02 Jun 2026 12:21:02
Would be doing everything I could to keep the big man. He'll be a star.

02 Jun 2026 12:23:21
Chermiti's only going to keep on improving, hopefully still a Rangers player next season, if not the Scottish transfer record will be broken.

02 Jun 2026 12:28:36
Porto are in huge financial trouble, they can't afford 20m.

02 Jun 2026 12:29:29
20 million euros is a good bit less than Β£20 million, we should be holding out for a good bit more.

02 Jun 2026 12:32:09
If Celtic value Arne Engles at Β£30m +, then Chermiti must be at least that or more to any club that wants him, as he is a more valuable player. Also must make Raskin at Β£30M+ as well, cause Raskin is going to WC and Engles is not.

02 Jun 2026 12:37:07
How much is the Everton sell on?

Think, unless crazy offer I'd be waiting to see if he kicks on a level next year.

02 Jun 2026 12:51:19
Club value him around 25-30 million. 17 million is not cutting it.

02 Jun 2026 12:53:51
Engles wins stuff, Raskin hides.

02 Jun 2026 12:55:26
Chermiti probably player we will get the biggest fee for, followed by Fernandez. If any leave, it must be for an offer they can't refuse, as we are far off a spine of team, never mind a first 11, and a mile off a decent squad.

In an ideal world we would get rid of a few other players for decent fees and keep those two for another season. Unfortunately we are not playing football manager, and with it being a World Cup summer it's not going to be easy.

02 Jun 2026 13:17:48
Engles and Chermiti are no comparison, different positions and different clubs also. It depends what another club is willing to pay, but I wish Rangers fans would stop with ludicrous comparisons.

02 Jun 2026 13:39:53
It's a nonsense Twitter feed with like 400 followers.

As for Chermiti, he won't be going for anything less than a Scottish record fee.

02 Jun 2026 13:38:50
471 followers, it's some sad little virgin on his computer. No a reliable source or media company. WHOPPER.

02 Jun 2026 13:55:37
Strom, I wouldn't say it's ludicrous. Yes, they're different positions, but Celtic always seem to sell players for what they want while we don't. Celtic fans I know say they don't understand how anyone is willing to pay that for Engels & they say the same for Nygren, who will sell for similar.

We've always sold our players for less, & I'd say most of the rest do too. Hibs held out on Bowie, & eventually got there asking price, as did Motherwell with Miller, so it's time we do the same.

02 Jun 2026 14:04:35
Could be a very happy little virgin for all we know!

Virgin on ridiculous. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‡

I'd value Chermiti at circa Β£80m and wouldn't take a penny less. Why would we? The board aren't saying we need to sell to buy. Name me another 21 year old in world football with his potential and ability. Only at our beloved club would fans be criticising him.

We are lucky to have him and any offer must be rejected. Him, Shankland, Naderi and, hopefully, a better prepared Miovski. Now we are looking like a proper Rangers front line.

DJB, it is ludicrous and Celtic win things, also we don't, so their players will go for higher price. It's not rocket science.

Muscat in Porto aren't in as much financial trouble as they were, as they have sorted a good bit of it. They could easily afford that amount.

DJB, the problem is no one on here knows the asking price for our players, it's all guess work and some of our fans think we should get x amount when our club could have a lower or higher price. I don't normally get involved in how much our players are worth because on here absolutely none of us have a clue about it.

DJB, as well as the good reason Storm says, the other thing would be our previous board were always at a need to sell point, I think. No criticism really, just that the funds weren't available. As we might now be in a position where we don't need to sell, then perhaps we can hold out for the higher prices.

I'm led to believe part of Chermiti signing a long term deal is that the minimum release clause is already agreed. Would suspect it would be north of Β£25m to ensure money back, sell on fee covered, and profit. If anyone comes in with Β£25m plus he's gone and we all know it.

And, rightly so, 25m is a good price for him. Albertz can't turn that down. Wouldn't sell for any less though.

Hahaha. πŸ˜†
The majority of people would have taken 5m in November.
Let's just keep the lad. No plan to sell then. If people want to prise him from our grasp, they are offering over the odds to persuade us. That's why Engles had big bids in January.
