Watching the England game and the passing and movement of the English players just shows how rubbish we are. Jude Bellingham is sheer class.

Off the boil in the second half, at least Serbia tried to make a game of it, the way they started I thought England were going to do them.

Didn’t think they were anything special to be honest actually struggled second half
Their performance in the opening game overall doesn’t make me think they will be contenders great individual players but something missing for me anyway
a good side would have torn them apart tonight.

Thought Serbia looked decent with a few very decent players. England will be happy to start with the win. Next year I fear will be tough for us with such a rebuild and a young team and few if any big transfer signings but maybe we need to take the pain to get back on top once the team gels - big gamble but we’ve won very little over the last decade plus anyway so longer term strategy and continuity with manager and players may be the only way to get back on top and stay there ??????.

Bellingham plays for the best side on the planet. What is funny is all the english commentators thinking he's not testing himself in the worlds best league. Madrid are the best side in the world why would he want to move?

Agree 100% Ed001,i really believe he is the best now.
{Ed001's Note - how I wish he had joined Liverpool last summer. I remember so many people questioning me when I had him as my dream signing for last season. They were all unsure if he was really that good. I doubt there is a single person who is asking that any more!}

If and it's a great big if anyone could prise him away from Madrid, how much would that cost?
Such a talent and only 20, the world at his feet and a smile that lights up the whole stadium.

He is a delight to watch and he seems to be a thoroughly decent young man.
