If we do sell cyriel dessers and i'l say here and now i'm happy enough to keep him as part of our first team squad, but not as our no.1 striker, what's the general thoughts on signing motherwell striker theo bair to replace dessers, again not as no.1 striker, but part of our squad ?I think big bair would be a good signing for us and could suit us in certain domestic games, with his style ?Of course i would like/ hope we can sign a strike who'll possibly be our no.1 striker and we've still got danillo coming back from his injury lay off ?.

We would be committing league suicide swapping dessers for a boy who scored 1 goal in 38 games for st Johnstone 2 seasons ago. I we want a big plank of wood up top we’d be better with the boy from hearts, the truth is we need better than both if we want any chance of winning the league, we probably need better than Dessers to be honest.

I'd keep Dessers and try to move on Danilo. There's no guarantee he'll recover to be a potent goal threat whereas Dessers has proven he can score goals and will likely score more with better players to provide chances for him.

Tbh I think big Cyriel may surprise a few this season, that's of course if he decides to stay.

If he stays Fork, I think he’ll hit 30, players often do better second season.
I’m relax if he wants away, he’s good but I’m sure we can get better.

Dessers might want out after the treatment he received from the fans last season and I'm not sure that we would turn down €5m if that was offered. Clement will want to bring in his own players and Sima, even played through the middle would be a better signing.
At the end of the day, we need to see more goals from midfield as well as from our attack so even if we keep Dessers we need others to contribute a lot more.
At 29, if we can sell him at the right price then I would be happy to see him go.
We shouldn't be signing players at this age unless they are top quality and will help develop our young up and coming players.
Finding modern day equivalents of guys like Wilkins and Trevor Francis would be the ideal scenario but they are few and far between.
