Tashreeq Matthews is the latest name being linked with a move to Rangers - but the Ibrox club could face competition for the South African winger's signature from AZ Alkmaar.
Currently plays in Sweden but one of his previous clubs was B. Dortmund.

I think clubs will be wary of dropping a fee for him given his injury history. So a loan could work out well for everyone. If this works out well we could end up getting twice as much for him next summer as we would from selling him now.

If king was to go out on loan would rather it was to hearts with Lowry rather than hibs, they are in turmoil just now. The hagi one is quite a strange one, I get he needs games but he’s not gauranteed that at Alves. If it’s loan to buy then might be good business? Would rather Davies left on a permanent to free up wages if needed.
On incomings if Davies and king leave we will need a cb, don’t know if souttar is the answer? Not seen much of him and I feel like we need a winger who can operate on both wings, someone who gets bums off seats. Massive week coming up hopefully by next Monday we are where we want to be.

To be honest I think big Lundstrum just doesn’t have the legs and energy we need. Love the big man but he looked burnt out towards the end of the season and tbh i’m not sure he even offers us much in the midfield. I wouldn’t be disappointed if he moved on this window.

Reading the rules on the uefa website i think the answer is no. As of the knockout round play-offs, a club may register a maximum of three new eligible players for the remaining matches in the current competition. Such registration must be completed by 2 February 2024 (24.00CET) at the latest. This deadline cannot be extended.

An injury or sickness is considered long-term if it lasts at least 30 days as of the day the injury or sickness occurred. In case the recovery of the goalkeeper occurs before this 30 day period, the player must remain out of the players List A until the end of such period. If the replaced goalkeeper was registered as a locally trained player, the new goalkeeper does not need to be a locally trained player. The club must provide UEFA with the necessary medical evidence in one of UEFA's official languages. UEFA may require further medical examination of the goalkeeper by an expert appointed by UEFA at the cost of the club. Once the injured or ill goalkeeper is fit to be fielded again he can resume his position in place of his nominated substitute. The return of the original goalkeeper must be announced to the UEFA administration 24 hours before the next match in which the original goalkeeper is due to play.

Fantastic to win the first piece of silverware up for grabs this season.
Got to say Balogun, Sterling, Lundstram, and Goldson were outstanding and some goal from Tav - now 115 and counting.
Great to see the team spirit under PC, and the unity both on and off the park, which hopefully augurs well going forward.

Excellent result v Real Betis and to win in Spain and progress to the last 16 gives the club a financial boost going forward.
The team was depleted due to injuries, but PC has instilled a resilience to the side with his managerial skills.

We all have differing opinions on players but throughout the years and those in the lower leagues we as supporters showed tremendous spirit and backing to any player pulling on the jersey.

No urgency and along with the defeat v Motherwell it must rank as our worst performance under PC.
Fair play to Ross County but this defeat has left us with a mountain to climb in our quest for the league title.

Butland has been immense for Rangers this season and the save from O Reilly was outstanding.
He kept us in the game especially in the first half, and we are fortunate to have such a class goalkeeper at our club.

Thought there was no way back at 0-2 and after our lacklustre performance in the first half PC was spot on with his substitutions especially the introduction of Sima and Matondo.
Always looking for 3pts but the 1pt gained might be the difference in our quest for the league title.
