Tashreeq Matthews is the latest name being linked with a move to Rangers - but the Ibrox club could face competition for the South African winger's signature from AZ Alkmaar.
Currently plays in Sweden but one of his previous clubs was B. Dortmund.
Media speculation.

1.) 11 Jan 2024 14:33:48
10 goals and 10 assists in 30 games. Good return for a relatively small club in Sweeden. Not shy at shooting either by the looks of it.

2.) 11 Jan 2024 15:05:24
Kaiser Chiefs also interested apparently, not heard of him previously, the Sun though, clickbait maybe? Must be reasonable if he was at BvB.

3.) 11 Jan 2024 15:53:43
Looks a decent player, played mostly at number 10 this season.

4.) 11 Jan 2024 17:16:29
I like the sound of this one ??.

5.) 11 Jan 2024 17:49:22
Media now saying we have no interest in signing this player.

6.) 11 Jan 2024 18:42:15
ForkTongue, I predict a riot if that's the case.

7.) 11 Jan 2024 19:43:30
DeBoer that's plenty but it'll do for me ? ? ?.

8.) 11 Jan 2024 19:52:47
I’m not surprised cop mate the media come on sites like these for there info.

Hagi linked to a season long loan deal to Alaves ( La Liga)
Media speculation.

1.) 27 Aug 2023 11:15:18
Copeland, I'd rather he was sold this summer.

2.) 27 Aug 2023 11:52:33
Same as rather the monies in aawell but maybe nobody willing to pay.

3.) 27 Aug 2023 12:06:54
I would rather keep him than loan him out?

4.) 27 Aug 2023 12:15:49
I think clubs will be wary of dropping a fee for him given his injury history. So a loan could work out well for everyone. If this works out well we could end up getting twice as much for him next summer as we would from selling him now.

5.) 27 Aug 2023 12:46:06
Loan him to La Liga if he does well A his stock rises B he comes back after playing football consistently no brainer he’s on a long term deal.

6.) 27 Aug 2023 13:28:36
Yseterdays headline was that he was being sold to Maccabi Tel Aviv. Can see it both ways, a sale brings in some money but the loan may get him fit to return enough to be a good player for us.

7.) 27 Aug 2023 13:31:26
If king was to go out on loan would rather it was to hearts with Lowry rather than hibs, they are in turmoil just now. The hagi one is quite a strange one, I get he needs games but he’s not gauranteed that at Alves. If it’s loan to buy then might be good business? Would rather Davies left on a permanent to free up wages if needed.
On incomings if Davies and king leave we will need a cb, don’t know if souttar is the answer? Not seen much of him and I feel like we need a winger who can operate on both wings, someone who gets bums off seats. Massive week coming up hopefully by next Monday we are where we want to be.

8.) 27 Aug 2023 13:41:01
RFC can’t loan two players to same club in our league.

11 Aug 2023 18:46:14
Chelsea's move for Tyler Adams (Leeds) breaks down.
Will Leeds withdraw their interest in Kamara?

1.) 11 Aug 2023 20:03:34
Yes if they actually had an interest.

2.) 11 Aug 2023 20:13:12
Seems to chat Adams will go to Brighton instead. So hopefully not much will change for us.

3.) 11 Aug 2023 23:00:54
Got told it does give a holdback in the move but as long as Tyler Adams leaves, Kamara will be going to Leeds.

4.) 12 Aug 2023 00:17:36
I worked in Leeds for a long long long time one month and I will never go back for any amount of money.

5.) 12 Aug 2023 10:03:59
Leeds or Nice, consider that and how the player feels about it, horrific mess with his head that would be .

Glen go see the likes of Armley area before signing, take a big dug .

6.) 12 Aug 2023 10:32:17
have a look at chapeltown, need more than a dug.

7.) 12 Aug 2023 11:06:49
Leeds is a dump!

8.) 12 Aug 2023 11:43:49
I married a West Indian from Chapel Town. Goat Curry, Ray and Nephews and lots of weed, what’s not to like?

9.) 12 Aug 2023 12:20:52
The point is though he nearly went to Nice I've not been but they tell me it's nice, Leeds is appalling but let's hope none of our dearly loved ever have to go to Bradford, Batley, Dewsbury or Wakefield .

Been to see Barnsley a few times with inlaws, no bad .

10.) 12 Aug 2023 22:00:37
New quay … welcome but you shouldn’t be calling your wife a goat ?.

25 Jul 2023 17:36:10
Kamara linked with a £5m move to Leeds.

1.) 25 Jul 2023 18:18:52
? fingers crossed but I think it's time for kamara to move on although I like the player he's the type that needs fresh challenge.

Still not sure on lundstrum if he doesn't sign a deal in next couple weeks we should be looking to sell.

2.) 25 jul 2023 18:23:45
kamara has to go now, hrs z quality player of his type, and he's wasted a year already of his career, he will definitely leave in next week or so, for his own good and for the benefit of rangers, he's been zn incredibly good purchase.

3.) 25 Jul 2023 19:25:10
Lundstram shouldn’t be offered a new deal.

4.) 25 Jul 2023 19:29:14
Hope Kamara gets a good move and think Leeds would fit that bill.

Really rate him as a player, just doesn't seem to fit MBs style.

5.) 25 Jul 2023 21:10:40
Also wouldn’t offer Barasic or Lundstram new deals. Would wish both well and hope we can find a decent deal and reinvest the proceeds.

6.) 25 Jul 2023 21:44:40
To be honest I think big Lundstrum just doesn’t have the legs and energy we need. Love the big man but he looked burnt out towards the end of the season and tbh i’m not sure he even offers us much in the midfield. I wouldn’t be disappointed if he moved on this window.

23 Jun 2023 17:18:34
Maja reportedly attracting interest from Anderlecht, Real Valladolid, and Fulham.

1.) 23 Jun 2023 22:01:03
Gotta expect that he'll attract attention from a few clubs.

Hopefully he opts for us.

2.) 23 Jun 2023 22:46:53
EHL, Money is not with us unfortunately
We can't compete!
If deal us not already done in the background we will always lose out 9n a bidding war.

3.) 24 Jun 2023 07:25:56
The guy is a free.

4.) 24 Jun 2023 08:30:53
John27, think BAR72 was referencing bidding war in terms of signing on fee and salary.

BAR72, agree, will be hard to compete with those teams.

5.) 24 Jun 2023 08:30:56
Wages, John.

6.) 24 Jun 2023 14:14:13
No one is free.

7.) 24 Jun 2023 17:47:04
RFC, we pay more than Anderlect, it will be down to where maja wants to play.

As a club can we change our squad for the last 16 tie v Benfica?
Primarily thinking about the injury to Todd Cantwell.

1.) 24 Feb 2024 19:59:02
Already done Copland couple of weeks back bud.

2.) 24 Feb 2024 20:11:28
Apologies Copland misread you there, unsure about injury replacements.

3.) 24 Feb 2024 21:43:46
No we can’t.

4.) 24 Feb 2024 21:45:56
No more changes for the rest of the tournament.

5.) 24 Feb 2024 22:13:17
Reading the rules on the uefa website i think the answer is no. As of the knockout round play-offs, a club may register a maximum of three new eligible players for the remaining matches in the current competition. Such registration must be completed by 2 February 2024 (24.00CET) at the latest. This deadline cannot be extended.

Any or all of the players from the above quota of three may have been fielded for another club in the qualifying phase, play-offs or group stage of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League or UEFA Europa Conference League.

If the registration of such new players causes the number of players on List A to exceed 25, the club must remove the necessary number of currently registered players to reduce the squad to 25 players again. The quota of the "locally trained players" must be respected when registering new players. Newly registered players must wear set numbers.

If a club cannot count on the services of at least two goalkeepers registered on List A because of long-term injury or sickness, the club concerned may temporarily replace the goalkeeper concerned and register a new goalkeeper at any time during the season and complete the official registration list A with a goalkeeper fit to be fielded. An injury or sickness is considered long-term if it lasts at least 30 days as of the day the injury or sickness occurred. In case the recovery of the goalkeeper occurs before this 30 day period, the player must remain out of the players List A until the end of such period. If the replaced goalkeeper was registered as a locally trained player, the new goalkeeper does not need to be a locally trained player. The club must provide UEFA with the necessary medical evidence in one of UEFA's official languages. UEFA may require further medical examination of the goalkeeper by an expert appointed by UEFA at the cost of the club. Once the injured or ill goalkeeper is fit to be fielded again he can resume his position in place of his nominated substitute. The return of the original goalkeeper must be announced to the UEFA administration 24 hours before the next match in which the original goalkeeper is due to play.

Devine to Motherwell on loan.

Cameron Pring LB ( Bristol City) .
Someone posted that we are linked with him amongst many other LBs.
Man of the Match v West Ham last night.

1.) 17 Jan 2024 11:28:10
He was impressive and looks a good player but he's under contract till 2026 so won't be cheap.

2.) 17 Jan 2024 13:14:11
I'll bow to both copland 01 and OWS on cameron pring as i haven't seen hardly anything of this bristol city left back, so i trust you guys have and yous like him ? Could possibly be a good signing for us ?.

3.) 17 Jan 2024 15:29:04
Sws last night was the 1st time iv seen the boy but he's athletic can definitely assist our forwards and was sound defensively I think his profile is exactly what we should look at.

4.) 17 Jan 2024 18:14:41
SWS - watched the game and he is good both offensively and defensively, athletic and strong and as OWS posted he would suit our player profile.
To be honest it was another post on here that mentioned his name.
Another player who has also been linked was Ben Johnson ( West Ham ) who also came on as a sub.

18 Dec 2023 11:45:31
Fantastic to win the first piece of silverware up for grabs this season.
Got to say Balogun, Sterling, Lundstram, and Goldson were outstanding and some goal from Tav - now 115 and counting.
Great to see the team spirit under PC, and the unity both on and off the park, which hopefully augurs well going forward.
Merry Christmas to all Rangers fans near and far. ??.

15 Dec 2023 11:50:07
Excellent result v Real Betis and to win in Spain and progress to the last 16 gives the club a financial boost going forward.
The team was depleted due to injuries, but PC has instilled a resilience to the side with his managerial skills.
Looking forward to our next European adventure in February.

1.) 15 Dec 2023 13:39:20
It’s March our next game in Europe mate I am sure.

2.) 15 Dec 2023 14:22:47
Ok Storm cheers mate.

3.) 15 Dec 2023 17:24:17
Feb we play last 16 is it not?

4.) 15 Dec 2023 23:27:18
The draw for the round-of-16 knockout stage will take place the day after the play-off second legs, on 23 February.

Surely if Borna leaves in the next transfer window Jefte will be the back up for Ridvan, that’s if we sign him from Apoel Nicosia.

Good to be linked with young players currently playing in the SPL, but hopefully Bailey Rice makes the transition from the B team to the first team squad in the not too distant future.

Best of luck to Borna if he moves on to another club, and a player who has been a good servant to the Rangers and a Croatian International no less.
We all have differing opinions on players but throughout the years and those in the lower leagues we as supporters showed tremendous spirit and backing to any player pulling on the jersey.
Long may it continue.

Butland has been immense for Rangers this season and the save from O Reilly was outstanding.
He kept us in the game especially in the first half, and we are fortunate to have such a class goalkeeper at our club.

Thought there was no way back at 0-2 and after our lacklustre performance in the first half PC was spot on with his substitutions especially the introduction of Sima and Matondo.
Always looking for 3pts but the 1pt gained might be the difference in our quest for the league title.
Next up Dundee.

Big decision where to play Sterling as he is so versatile.
Probably be DM or RW if he is included in the starting 11.
