Just reading that Tommy Wright has quit as st johnstones manager. Strange timing, is it not. A few days before evidence is produced. Maybe creating some distance for himself? Maybe just a coincidence.

02 May 2020 15:57:25
I am blaming a lot of people for a lot of things on here but never once was Tommy Wright on my radar, please explain rossco.

02 May 2020 16:07:15
Folks, it's probably more to do with the Norther Ireland Managers position, just my thought on it.

02 May 2020 16:32:04
agreed IRV

norn iron post prob most likely reason behind this

anyway fair play to TW always liked him - seemed to be widely respected as a manager.

02 May 2020 17:40:14
I remember we were up at there’s this season and I think we were losing. There fans were trying to keep the ball from us and waste time and tommy went mad screaming what are you doing, give him the ball. Class.

02 May 2020 18:05:06
Good luck as potential new Northern Ireland manager, always thought he done a great job at St Johnstone couldn’t understand why he was never touted for role at Hearts or Hibs with what he done on a shoestring budget every season.

02 May 2020 19:26:32
Best manager in the SPL. Most underrated manager in the SPL. Carried out miracles in Perth with no money. I'd have happily taken him at Ibrox and he's one of us too. If he took over at Ibrox I'd say thanks Stevie and hello Tommy. And before anyone whines about 'he won't attract the players Stevie will' - tbh, Gerrard's not exactly made many blow me away signings either!

02 May 2020 21:25:43
Most ridiculous post I’ve seen in a long time. St Johnston manager resigns and you think it’s about the Rangers!

03 May 2020 11:58:19
When you say our name can you try saying The Famous Glasgow Rangers, cause you know it is all about the Famous Glasgow Rangers, something you can only dream about.

03 May 2020 12:40:28
What do we really expects from ex dhim players, and the cheek to call us obsessed, all Rangers and us fans have asked for is fairness, i am not interested if they get the title, i will deal with that, truthfully we would not have caught them, but, and it's a big but, we never got the chance to do it on the park. Stubbs using EBT'S as a smokescreen to cover up the despicable behaviour of Doncaster, MacLennan and that other donkey at the SPFL, if the top is run by crooks, we don't have a chance. So Stubbs Sutton Hartson and Walker et al, can go fxxx themselves. They are basically condoning cheating at the top of the game. Says it all really, enjoy your 8* dhims.

04 May 2020 03:12:53
Concerning tommy wright i also think its a peculiar time for him to resign, however I've no idea the reason, i'm sure we'll here in due course, a top manager who should have been at ibrox years ago, again though stevie g is still the man for me.

04 May 2020 11:31:30
Billyblackpool how can any club get fairness, if any team has a gripe with celtic fc it goes in front of a celtic supporter giving his job by dessybhoy, he has worked with him for yonks, best mates, so how can he go against his paymaster, serious question, lads.

It’s rumoured that Castore will be Rangers’ new kit supplier for the 2020/ 21 season. The rumour has also emerged that Mike Ashley is going to be away from the club as well.

Castore are a Liverpool based premium sportswear brand who have raised £7.5M to break into the professional football sector and Rangers could be one of the first teams that wear the kits. They are also looking to introduce the brand into The English premier league, La Liga and The Bundesliga. Apparantly Castore has also been doing work with Angel Revive which Steven Gerrard is involved in

Just saw the above post about our possible new kit supplier. I have never heard of this company and personally think that we shouldn't be taking a chance with an unknown.

02 May 2020 13:31:42
Just reading about castore the now aswel. would be wanting decent coin from them tbh. some there stuff pricey in harrods for sports clothes.

02 May 2020 13:32:38
Do they not sponsor andy murray?

02 May 2020 13:37:48
Hope this is not true. Massively underwhelming getting a bargain basement supplier. Never even heard of Castore before today. Will just add to the attempts of point scoring from the mhanks about how skint we are. Was hoping for a big brand deal.

02 May 2020 13:38:58
Bellshill and why not, Andy Murray a shareholder, earns One million a year sponsorship.
SG clothing company also partner Castore.
They provide high end golf and tennis wear, in five years they have trade in 100 countries
So although u have not heard of them plenty have.
I personally would trust Murray and gerrard business acumen.
Ps have you heard of gerrard clothing company.

02 May 2020 16:53:36
Every brand started somewhere. I’d be happy for us to be their start in team sports. I don’t think we would be daft to get done for money so they would most likely come with decent money for us. They could put out some decent kits and merchandise in my opinion.

02 May 2020 19:57:34
Fruit bear why would we be getting a big brand deal? We don't win anything? Castores stuff is high quality and the kits could be excellent and the talk is it will be more lucrative than the hummel deal. Pretty sure everyone went mad over hummel too and their kits were outstanding?

02 May 2020 21:08:04
John 25 I have nothing against the company but and this is a huge but producing golf and tennis clothing is a whole lot different to producing a quality football top that will require huge numbers to be produced. We are finally out Mike Ashley grasp and I don't think we can be a tester club for a company that hasn't had a major football club. We are a worldwide brand. We need a tried and trusted kit maker.

02 May 2020 23:16:07
See at end off day it will be who the money men and directors decide, total garbage we need a tried and trusted kit maker.
You can only award a contract to someone who wants it.
Also where are u seeing we are finally out of Ashley grasp.
He know longer has rights over shop allegedly.

03 May 2020 05:49:27
Its on the fourladshadadream blog John, regarding the Fatman. I don't mind if our kit manufacturers are, as long as its a good kit and a good deal for the club. Castors definitely make good quality clothing so who knows.

03 May 2020 07:52:25
At this stage I have to be honest and say that the brand is underwhelming on the basis that I haven’t ever heard of them. However if the deal is a good financial deal for the club I will give them my full support and look forward to seeing what tops they produce.
I remember being disappointed with Umbro and Hummel being announced as kit suppliers and thought the home and away Uefa cup 2008 season tops were great and the Hummel tops and training range have been outstanding.

03 May 2020 09:22:46
The brand sounds fresh and a higher standard of merchandise my only fear is that decent working class gers fans will be priced out of the opportunity to wear their teams official kits and merchandise.

03 May 2020 09:33:52
What if a premium sportswear firm is being brought in for Rangers branded clothing and a big hitter will manufacture football kit? Is this possible?

04 May 2020 10:38:39
Just read castore is a 20million pound deal. If the club think they can deal with demand let's go as SG would say.

04 May 2020 14:52:53
Good shout bellshill. I’m told 20 million is minimum we can make over five years.
Depending on significant sales there r further payments which would be triggered.

02 May 2020 12:42:32
Come July Sports Direct will be officially gone. SOURCE 4LHAD.

02 May 2020 13:22:52
Best bit of business since king took over. Will see a big difference in our commercial sales. Plus I can now buy rangers tops again. Not bought one since most money was going to SD.

02 May 2020 14:53:18
Is July exit of Sports Direct confirmed?

02 May 2020 17:08:20
Bankie I think we need to be cautious, I believe Ashley exit only relates to lease of shop.

03 May 2020 08:13:53
Hi John25, I agree, my understanding was the clause in the contract of him being allowed to match any offer was the big bugbear with him contractually. In conclusion, I hope 4Lads are correct, as they normally are, and we are rid of him once and for all.

04 May 2020 11:32:08
Irvger, he is off the numbers, so to speak, matey, lol.

04 May 2020 14:53:52
Irvger Paul. We r getting there.

05 May 2020 07:24:52
John25, ye we are getting there mate, especially with the investment that's lined up to get involved, loads of dosh, lol, seriously i think we should but. Quality this time, not numbers, as between the first team and the youngsters we can put a better challenge together the next. Season, whenever that may be.

02 May 2020 12:41:16
New story breaking today, RFC to refurb shop.
Also story Castore to be our new kit manufacturer. Over to u SGL
32Red to continue as sponsor.

02 May 2020 13:05:53
Castore make quality stuff, emerging brand focused on sports performance and style.

02 May 2020 13:34:20
