I think game changes with our subs zalalem coming from made difference.

Totally agree at 2-1 we looked comfortable but why take Zelalem off?
We did that against Falkirk recently and lost the game.

Well done to our strikers again but our defence is shocking.

I think it's time the board backed MW or we run the risk of losing him. If we're to believe what we've read in past board were supposed to be willing to put money up for players to ensure we get out of this division.
I can't see any signings we've made strengthening our team.
Just have to hope no long term injuries or we could be in bother.

Wish everyone would calm down with Warburton leaving he's not going to leave in the summer no matter if he gets no money or a billion there's literally a 0% chance of that happening.

McDermid

Nothing in football would surprise me and you can't say for sure it won't happen. Maybe he will stay maybe he won't no one knows for sure.

What amazes me is how much smoke gets blown up MW's arse.
As far as i am concerned he has yet to prove himself. Granted he is an educated man and talks a good game but let's not be kidded he has a lot to prove.

Yes we are playing some nice football but it is against nobody most weeks.

Had we lost to Hibs in the last meeting we wouldn't be top of the league. A league of second rate teams and journeymen apart from hibs and falkirk who are still only half decent.

Warbs is doing no more then any of the managers in the SPL would do with our team with the same budget so let's not put him on a pedastal just yet.

MW has proven himself to me. He is the manager we have needed for a long time. The danger now is losing him for lack of support from chairman and board. He asked for two players to be brought in and this board has let him down very badly. Surely we have to trust the managers judgement and get in who he wants.
Show him the money or lose him.

Gorman got to totally disagree with your post, ok, maybe m. w. has still to prove himself but I think he is doing it right now at our club, maybe he worked in the banks before he came to our club but we have never had a manager that has studied football in other countries the way m. w. has, that's the reason we are playing the most attractive style of football ever played in our wee country, not just nice to watch but m. w. has us also getting the results.

Can I ask all my fellow bears to support the club and stop singing sectarian songs. All were doing is giving ammunition to all the Rangers haters to make complaints and try to cause us mire trouble.

In all honesty I don't see this happening any time soon. And it's not because of any sort of hatred or believe. It's the atmosphere that was created by that song against hibs. Not an excuse from me just an opinion.

You are right in your statement, however I do feel that all clubs in the Scottish game should be held to task and by the same standards that are attributed to our club. We do seem to be the go to target for singling out by the SPFL and its regulations. Fairs fair because there has been actual singing and we must take responsibility for that and get our own house in order. What really can we expect when the Lawwell/Thompson combo is holding Doncaster's/SPFL's leash.

I do think we should have an amended songbook and possibly this should be displayed on the screens at Ibrox with bouncing ball, during games until it is taken on board by the fanbase. Possibly even some sort of alarm/klaxon going off when these songs are heard. Radical yes, but maybe it would make a difference?

Bare in mind though that all supports have a mix of different walks of life. All have the ned element involved in them and these individuals are just happy to feel a belonging to the cause, rather than actually understand the ramifications of their actions. possibly not even the meaning of the songs they are singing? Some people just don't want to behave or be told what to do even is the club is held to task for their actions.

I agree with what you are saying. I confess to having belted out some of these songs in the past and - had I been at the Hibs game - may have found it very difficult not to do so again. But that doesn't make it ok - even if it's more about the atmosphere than the meaning for me. I'd be just as happy bouncing along to Agadoo if it means we're winning. (Possibly a slight exaggeration but only to make a point) .

It's a deep rooted cultural thing which won't change overnight, especially if there is continued resistance from the fans. People said compulsory seat belts would never happen but most people don't think twice about it now. In years to come sectarian singing will be a thing of the past at both Ibrox and Celtic Park. Many years I suspect but it will happen because it'll be as anti-social as smoking whether the uber-bigots on either side of the mirror like it or not. Yes, many people still smoke but they are being ring fenced and targeted.

My son is 11, is growing to love Rangers but hasn't a clue about the songs - and hopefully never will. Won't make him any less of a supporter.
