Just a thought I work for a charity supporting adults with disabilities and I have sourced some memorabilia.

Anyone any links to players old or current who you could ask in my behalf or signpost me too.

The idea being that they pop in even for 10 minutes host an auction memorabilia item and it's a nice wee touch to the auction and indeed the night.

It's in the Goodyear in Drumchapel 27.1.24 starting at 7pm auction around 830-9pm

Thanks in advance

Jason.

Quite an exciting time as a Rangers Fan.
Reminds me a bit of the regeneration when Souness was appointed.
Think we have sadly had so many falls dawns over the years but this seems like a credible appointment.
A man who has a background of winning things.
It will be interesting to see which of the current crop of players come good as their will definitely be a few who for reasons unknown decide to eventually show up.
Clement will be backed in the windows or he wouldn't of took the job and his style of play looks adaptable.
Rangers have needed a manager for years now who can adapt to in game situations and isn't afraid to change things like Souness was.

Totally agree mate looking forward the future once again and feel this is a turning of our fortunes on the park going forward ?.

Sourness was able to go and buy englands best players. So no chance this is anything like the souness era.

Don't think it comes close to the souness appointment.

Yes. And despite the big name signings, we lost 3 of our first 8 games. a bit like this season! For me, this feels more like Paul le Guen. Clement has to be given time though. We have a very tough run of games from the start of November through to the new year. We could easily be more points behind before he has chance to dabble in the transfer market. It is very important that we unite behind the manager and EVERY player who plays. Encourage, SUPPORT and keep criticism and boos to a minimum.

BearAbroad22,the difference with paul le guen and our new manager philippe clement is one didn't try to understand scottish football, whereas the other is prepared to and using his head ?
Paul le guen had us playing good stuff in europe but wasn't prepared to grasp what he needed for the rigours of scottish football ie. he actually banned tackling in training, bought centre halfs who couldn't header a ball and didn't bring in a scottish/ rangers minded coach into his backroom team, who undoubtedly could have helped him enormously regarding our scottish game ? Philippe Clement will use his brain and do all those things that le guen was too pigheaded to do, there's the big differences my friend ?.

Harthill I think like Souness, Clement will change things mix it up a bit he seems confident, ambitious and very strong minded.
Rangers need a strong person in charge.
That's what I mean when I highlighted it is just like the Souness era.
Mark my words Clement will kick some arses and have fallouts as his expectations are high again like Souness.
Winners mentality.

I have seen a fair bit over the B team over the years and must say McAusland has been been OK in it.
His performances over the last few week have been surprising but most welcome.
It's great that PC is showing faith in the youth coming through and I hope he keeps faith in them when all the players out injured come back.
I would say Lovelace, Yfeko, Thompson and Rice could step up.
On a side note think Gary O'connor boy on loan at Airdrie looks a good prospect he looked electric against Rangers B in midweek and worth keeping an eye on.

Hey White Horse

I watched him come through the youth as I had a family member who played with him.
He was a tenacious centre mid was always the captain and seems to have then been earmarked for left back when I seen him again years later.
My person had been released by then.

I reckon he will have a good career in football maybe just not with Rangers.
He's a committed, assured, energetic player who provides good balance on the left side.
I did think he was even better as a midfielder right enough as was always involved
You just never know how it goes so many variables I was surprised McAusland has played so well for the 1st team.

I have a charity fundraising night on 27.1.24 for my work.
Would him and a few players pop along I have a bunch of memorabilia he could auction nice spin on the auction itself with actual players taking the bids.
Long shot I know but if you don't ask and all that or if any other members could point me to some players that would be welcome to.
