Think Davies will be waiting to see what league Everton are in before signing anywhere, if they get relegates he will probably play for them next season, boys an Everton fan. Would be a good signing for us though, another mobile determined midfielder.

Beale was interested in Davies in the January transfer window but was made aware that due to a number of injuries that he had sustained that he would be having surgery to correct the issues including hamstring issues.
He has now had the surgery and as I understand it, this has been a success but he won't play again this season.
As John stated, Beale had a conversation with him relatively recently and it is my understanding that he still plans to leave Everton when his contract expires and Rangers would still like him to sign for us.
Last I heard, Everton would like him to sign a new contract, so far he has said no because he wants first team football and he is unlikely to stay even if they are relegated.
There are a number of EPL Teams rumoured to be interested in him but I would like to think that he would choose us although we would need to pay him £30k a week plus to secure his signature.
Davies would fit in well at Rangers, he is very involved with the Community and a big supporter of local charities and Glasgow in many respects would be like a 'home from home' for him.
I also understand that a couple of exEverton players have also encouraged him to move to Rangers if he is given the opportunity. Fingers crossed it happens!

I think we do need 4 to cover these two positions but these 4 are all a bit samey to me . I would like a big powerful DM that likes a tackle to give us some real physical presence.

Listened to rangers review interview with Norwich expert and he was saying he feels like Dowell will be a back up player to Cantwell. I trust his opinion because he was absolutely spot on with Cantwell when he signed. Said that Cantwell just needed a fresh start and a good fan base and he would shine. And he’s done exactly that.

I wrote on the Rumours page, Storm, that a Norwich fan had indicated that Dowell has only played in 65 games across 3 seasons. There are 46 league games alone in a season, I believe, so going by only league games, he has only played in 47.1% of them. This figure will be lower as I am only counting league games, not cups! So, the cold hard facts are, he's not played in over 50% of games in the last 3 seasons. Is that not a concern?!

He’s has not played since end of February, where the manager states he was not selecting him as he would not commit to club
He sebsequently went had a minor op to tidy up a niggle according to Norwich
He has not been selected for multiple games due to simply not being selected.

He did say that, but he said it a couple weeks ago at a time where QPR had 2 or 3 massive games left and were in and about relegation. If you asked him now, their season is done and they’re safe, then his answer may change. If Willock leaves them on a free, then I cannot see us passing up the opportunity to sign him. QPR have the option for another year so who knows what’ll happen maybe he’ll stay for another year.
