Don't know if he's injured. But I believe that Stevie May is yet to play for Wednesday this season. If he's not injured could he be the loanee?

Stevie may is no longer wanted by sheffield, blackburn were looking at him but due to a transfer embargo and not being able to sell Rhodes this fell through, he could be the loan move, but I do believe he is in his final year, so there could be a view of a permanent move?

Stevie May up at Lennoxtown just now

Why is it games can be changed so close to the event. We continue to attract fans from all over. My boys have been lucky, they fly up on the Friday morning for the St Mirren game, if it had been re-arranged for the Sunday they were stuffed as they fly back early on that day. How many have had their plans wrecked due to this decision. The fixtures have been out for weeks so why the delay in releasing the live games?

Only a testimonial vs Annan for one of their players. Heard rumours of Leeds but nothing concrete

I think there might be a game against Canna, after the recent law breaking on the small isle. Great views from the Cuillin ridge btw.

Yep there's an away tie to Leeds, rumour has it the police tried to get the friendly match changed to ibrox cause of soon crowd trouble at last game but it's going ahead at Leeds

We see all this about Coisty's contract and he won't be sacked. Well Mr McCoist walk away, I recall others who have left clubs and never took their compensation. Boyd to Kilmarnock after signing for us and Strachan at Middlesborough (admitted he had done a poor job). Given the pain we are enduring and the fact he is a hero and legend, he could actually leave and maintain some respect from our brilliant support.

{Ed039's Note - He wont leave, that one phrase "we don't do walking away" means he can not and will not, he has in his mind, done a good job and has his ideal job and is very handsomely paid for it. This is the problem with a rolling contract, everyday Ally wakes up, he has a years notice to either be given, or be paid off. Surely "mutual consent" wouldn't be hard to reach with Ally, or does he know too many behind closed doors secrets that the board can not take that risk)

1.) Ed39, good points, mutual consent would make sense

2.) Agree ed regarding Allys one year rolling contract,

so therefor he should be told on Monday morning that his one years notice starts today.

doubt it, but a years notice would be a massive blow to his ego, he might just take the hump and walk.

failing that he stays till the end of season, then come august, if the board decide the team need another manager, to help us win the championship
it would only need to pay 3/4
months wages to sack him.

3.) Almost worth going into admin again to get rid of him.

Just seen the Independent on another site. Palace in for Ally? Not sure if it's a wind up, if not this could be blessing in disguise and wouldn't cost us a fortune to get rid, might even make out of it.

Have to agree, love the attacking play, it's an absolute breathe of fresh air. Defensively, very shaky, 2 penalties given away in 3 competitive games isn't good enough.

Much more to come I'm sure, we welcome the chase.

This guy definitely needs a chance, my mates go to Swindon regularly and reckon he is the best goalie outside the EPL. Time will tell. Maybe were just not used to passing from the back. lol

JK74 - I'm also disappointed at the lack of pre season fixtures, great days at Wednesday and Derby over the last couple of years. However, I believe Warburton is playing it wisely, in that I mean he isn't advertising his formation, so when we get started it will be difficult for opponents to prepare, the element of surprise is ours.

Who in their right mind would take the job with no plan moving forward.

Mate, agree, should have a young team gaining experience. Obviously has never been the agenda under the regime.
