Well said RtRnf, we are Rangers and shouldn't be bothered about the detritus of ticket allocation. Only thing that might worry is getting more of them witness a good thumping first hand asap.

24 Mar 2018 07:35:28
Then why don't we give them the Govan millerbrandandwilson or we can give them the Copland so they can sit behind both goals? They should be treated the same as Every other team that comes to Ibrox, no worse but certainly no better!

23 Mar 2018 22:40:59
Tend to disagree with that we still need a semblance of hard to win the ball back.

23 Mar 2018 21:12:19
Niko Kranjcar’s contract has been terminated by mutual agreement.

One down, quite a few ohers still to follow hopefully.

Why is everyone obsessed with big strong players? That went out the window. In every other country decades ago! We buy ball players and because they don't run and tackle everything in sight we just moan about work ethic . The game has changed move on! Let the ball do the work, windass 16 goals from midfield in 17 games and he gets it tight for what. not being seen to put it in, watch the OF again and his tracking back into 18 yard box, stopping the pass. You don't alwats have to tackle to defend smartly.

Gotta laugh at grado and she'll suit bob playing for the legends tomorrow as well as another river city guy. Good to see novo involved and hopefully he stays healthy.

RIP Davie Cooper 23 years ago today since we lost the guy with god's left peg.

23 Mar 2018 14:44:04
just came here to post the same thing! been watching youtube clips and as good as any player youll ever get with the ball at his feet. never got to see him play in the flesh but met him as a nipper with my dad and can honestly say its one of my proudest memories.

RIP forever in our hearts 💙

23 Mar 2018 15:13:46
Echo everything you guys have said about "THE GREAT ONE"! that's obviously where i took my name that i use on here to post! An absolute hero of mine was DC, Who had a god given gift, and a left foot like a wand! The immortal DAVIE SUPER COOPER! I and we will never forget you, taken from us far too early! In this day and age davie cooper would be well over 100million quid in the current transfer market! Coop was world class and we'll NEVER see his likes again! He could peel an orange with that left peg of his! Tears in my eyes writing this so heartfelt tribute to the "ONE AND ONLY DAVIE SUPER COOPER"! A very special person and a very special footballer! Will never be forgotten! God bless davie cooper, rest in peace!

We had a beer with Davie after the SCF when we beat CFC in the Avonbridge hotel in Hamilton what a legend
DC and Jimmy Nic
It was the game big Roy shoved McCoist to the deck
In the box and Rangers got a penalty

RIP Davie

23 Mar 2018 21:31:32
That might have been the League Cup Final of 1986 and I think Airmen fouled Butcher in the box before Davie easily converted the penalty with about 5 minutes to go. I was in the main stand surrounded by tic supporters. I couldn't contain myself and celebrated like mad! Just escaped without getting a doing! Happy days!

24 Mar 2018 07:38:00
Great memory indeed, that was the league cup and why the code?

23 Mar 2018 14:17:13
Does anyone know what jimmy Nicol does apart from gather cones and stray balls? I thought he'd be an astute addition but he seems to spend entire game slumped in dugout like a mute.

23 Mar 2018 17:45:53
Agree in a way. We obviously don't know what goes on behind the scenes but on match day he doesn't move. I thought he was there to give murty guidance due to his experience which he maybe do in training. I certainly don't see any of that going on at match day.

24 Mar 2018 08:23:35
Get a grip guys murty is the manager

23 Mar 2018 14:15:59
I am unsure of Murty and don't know if transfer dealings were him or DOF. If him then I'm impressed and key to his abilities, but if other then it's still a no as per previous posts.

23 Mar 2018 13:54:17
There was at least 10 people thrown out the Darts at the Hydro last night for throwing drinks etc at Kenny Miller in his booth. Was also given pelters in the toilets, but still took the time to get pictures with people while bring branded everything under the sun.

23 Mar 2018 15:46:32
my mate was there and said apparently Dorrans took it pretty tight too. The state of some people mate, can't even enjoy a night out without feeling the need to get wide with someone.

23 Mar 2018 19:39:47
Seen a few punches been thrown but that was in the cheap seats but the throwing the drinks has been happening for years. Over a fiver a pint so some rich idiots out there.

23 Mar 2018 09:55:16
The media is saturated with the question of Murty's future. A sitter from two yards against Celtic ignited it. McCoist got bad press about not building a future from youth and yet only Lewis McLeod, who he did promote, has proven Rangers class. McKay maybe. Warburton did okay when you consider his miserly budget though Garner, at his transfer fee, didn't crack it. Pedro and his millions to spend stands out as a big mistake and a gamble which makes no sense. So back to Murty. Injuries to Dorrans, Jack, McCrorie and Bates hasn't helped his case but all out of his control. He's an intelligent man and that should give him an edge. He fits the profile but it's in the hands of the players he picks.

23 Mar 2018 10:35:39
All clubs suffer injuries and Murty has had the luxury of a bigger squad and being able to acquire so many players in the January transfer window. How many players did Aberdeen, Hibs and Kilmarnock get in the transfer window? Murty just doesn’t have the experience required to challenge Celtic and if he is given the job for next season then I doubt very much he will last the season

23 Mar 2018 11:01:23
Murty has done well but hasn't had any luck with injuries. As you say kfraser, Dorrans, Jack, McCrorie and Bates plus Wallace and Rossiter. Pedro's reign was a disaster and Warburton was all bluster and no substance. I hope we can finish the season on a positive note, finish a comfortable 2nd in the league and win the Cup. Then we can see where we go from there. We are getting closer, that's for sure. Thing is had we beaten that lot (and we should have) and then beaten Kilmarnock (which we would have) then we'd be a point behind.

23 Mar 2018 12:32:42
we could have kept Garner and never signed that lump wood herrera

23 Mar 2018 09:28:47
What we think about new signings in summer, personally I'd sell morales if get another big offer, hearing strongly oli mcburnie and Louis moult coming in I think we sign them and Cummings our front line is sorted as we have Ryan hardie too if he stays, think midfield bringing in Murphy is a must n mulumba and Jones from Kilmarnock with who we already have that would be that area sorted aswell but we need another right back and strong fast centre half's, who do we sign there? Surely if we get a good fee for Moreles that will find a good part of our business, is personally make a bid for Scott Bain too he only at loan at that mob across there.

23 Mar 2018 11:32:44
Do we really want a striker who has not exactly cut it at lowley Preston where he is third choice behind two strikers I’ve never heard of. I’m not sure Cummings is the answer either. Against Killie he did nothing, in his defence nothing put on plate for him

23 Mar 2018 13:53:13
That's are strike force sorted? Cummings and mault two guys who can't get games at forest and Preston never mind jones and bains yet you would be happy with that? I'd expect hearts and hibs or Aberdeen to be happy with this type of player yes but I Can't believe the standard of player some of are fans are settling for do we not want to stop 10 in a row?

23 Mar 2018 07:56:18
Obviously the board need to start planning for next season in regards to transfers. Our main priority is a commanding center half. We have McCrorie to come back but we need someone experienced to play alongside him. Bruno for me plays too much European style, square passes across the defense. You won't ever see him bring the ball the way Amoruso did. that's the type of defender we need.

Going back to the Celtic game I think we really missed Jack for a bit of bite in midfield. Yes his discipline has been awful this year but he knows how to put a tackle in.

The Kilmarnock game the players look disheartened from the old firm, it was a hangover performance.

We need to strengthen in centre backs, right back, up front, right wing. Strengthening these positions would also strengthen the bench as we have no one to turn to, to change the game.

There is a few out of contract players I would look towards. McArthur and Brunt. Chris Brunt may be 33 but he's still got a great left foot on him.

23 Mar 2018 21:50:48
imo really, he got salted week in week out, would only turn up in big games, sure he was good in those occasions. some people only remember highs and never the lows.
