Majorly disagree with Henderson saying build the team around 38 years old Kenny miller a mean come on where's he getting that idea from? . you'll get 1 more season from him tops then what?

27 Apr 2017 11:01:15
Thoroughly deserves another year. Best player this season by a mile. After that probably keep coaching as he's doing at the moment.

27 Apr 2017 13:06:53
if you look at what miller has offered this season him surrounded with better quality players next season and he could go on to score 20 25 goals next year he is invaluable to us.

26 Apr 2017 19:56:04
Youth cup final is live on utube guys 👍🏼.

26 Apr 2017 21:10:16
They lads did well to get there, not a great scoreline but they have shown they can compete.

26 Apr 2017 22:05:37
We never had any of our players out on loan in side or Beerman and I'd like to think they would have made a difference, however, they were totally outplayed and I don't think any are ready for step up just now.

27 Apr 2017 01:52:02
Very young u20 side showed up great just getting there.

27 Apr 2017 11:03:19
Not one of them lads are anywhere near ready for the first team.

27 Apr 2017 12:58:38
Yeah our u20 side is a very young one! The one good thing that warburton implemented was bringing the young guys forward and age group and getting shot of the 20year olds that weren't at it

27 Apr 2017 13:04:05
It's not all about winning at that age. We used to dominate and players like fleck and wylde were the best we got out the youth team.

27 Apr 2017 15:20:28
Average age of our team was just over 17.5
Average age of there mob just under 20

That is huge difference in youth football.

The boys done well.

26 Apr 2017 17:12:16
Ashleys right hand man at newcastle arrested. If nothing else this surely will give DK some real chance of winning the court battle v the fat pig. Hoping the fat pig gets jail also.

27 Apr 2017 10:15:04
How exactly does this benefit us in a court battle?

as far as I can see, it doesn't at all.

26 Apr 2017 13:43:15
Barton given an 18 month ban and a £30000 fine!

26 Apr 2017 13:55:40
He's retired from football according to papers.

26 Apr 2017 15:26:04
Lol, "you are banned for 18 months due to gambling etc. "
I wonder what his response was:
"no actually, I was going to retire anyway! " what a guy.

26 Apr 2017 15:32:09
we definitely dodged a bigger bullet

26 Apr 2017 15:49:23
Think the decision is very harsh bordering on ridiculous. Doubt very much other less controversial players would have been handed such a ban

26 Apr 2017 17:06:46
Anyone overwhelmed by the news that Lafferty could be back.

26 Apr 2017 17:27:54
I've no time for Barton think the guys a waster but I think that is severe.

26 Apr 2017 20:19:31
Boaz

Don't want him anywhere near the club. Wonder if he would be so desperate to come back if he was getting regular game time

26 Apr 2017 20:54:06
Anyone think that's why he came up to Scotland? Our bigwigs would have banned him for a month and fined him 5 grand tops.
He was hoping to dodge a big bullet

26 Apr 2017 20:02:49
18 month is pretty extreme but he's not our problem now. He's going to be about 36 when that ban is up so best retiring now i think. Too big for his boots to play for an old firm club and hate to say it but brown (an average player) bullying him showed he's past his sale by date.

26 Apr 2017 21:01:19
They did didn't they

26 Apr 2017 23:11:59
18 month ban for 1200 bets over ten years. So less than 12 bets a month or 3 bets a week. I can't stand the guy but that is definitely a harsh punishment.

27 Apr 2017 12:55:01
Surely any player with a bit of sense would just get someone they trust to bet for them lol

26 Apr 2017 10:34:28
Does anyone know what punishment Newcastle will receive after today's happenings? Possible points deduction? ED any ideas?

{Ed002's Note - Not at this time.}

26 Apr 2017 15:56:53
Oh let's hope Ashley and every single one of his wee crooks get took to the cleaners.

26 Apr 2017 10:33:48
Newcastle raided by HMRC for tax irregularities. Managing director arrested.

26 Apr 2017 17:10:50
1ll bet they eont be put down 3 divisions.

26 Apr 2017 18:07:37
Maybe their tax returns were just improperly registered

26 Apr 2017 18:12:27
Aye because they won't go into administration or liquidation! Lol

26 Apr 2017 10:21:41
So the plan on Sunday was to absorb pressure and counter attack. We don't have players good enough for that. Waghorn, Miller and Garner have no pace.

The Board has taken a real risk in Pedro and I'd have liked to have seen Murty see out the season and McInnes take charge after. I have to remain hopeful but I have my doubts.

26 Apr 2017 10:35:55
Tad unfair on Pedro Kfraser. He is using Warburtons players, ofcourse it won't go well right now, give the guy time, I honestly reckon he can take us forward.

26 Apr 2017 12:05:24
I agree Kfraser couldn't agree more don't have players to sit back needed to be pressing them higher up not them play out from back also picked wrong team . know it's not his players signs are not good hope he proves me and you wrong

26 Apr 2017 12:25:36
honestly after one bad game people are stating that Pedro not the man for the job. undefeated in the league. the GUY has just came in and just because we got beat by the better team it's doubts. . fans and press like this is what shatters managers confidence and gets managers around the world the sack. . Give the guy time to get in and if he are still in this position this time next year then have doubts. Pedro needs the money and time to bud his squad not a make shift team that Warburton left him. he's trying new things using young players making them hungry to fight and stay in the squad.

26 Apr 2017 13:06:31
Who says wanted give him sack his tactics and team were bewildering quite prepared to give him a chance said signs not good entitled to opinion rangers were rank rotten at werkend

26 Apr 2017 14:16:50
Agree with Stewarty no one is calling for his head however his team selection was poor and the players should have been better motivated to try and compete. Bringing in Halliday who has been rotten all season was baffling. We started the game with no pace in the team and with 2 strikers who can't score goals. It was a poor selection and we were deservedly well beaten. No Rangers team should go out against a Celtic team and give them the amount of space we did

26 Apr 2017 15:33:19
Id go for Moult from Motherwell.

26 Apr 2017 15:31:27
bewildered! cf's did not press scott brown. stated objective of manager to press from strikers first. failed first game so now all over?

26 Apr 2017 15:55:25
some people on here just don't know what it means to give a guy a chance .

so what if he was a scout for celtic years ago so what if u have never heard of him so what he lost a semi final to a team that are miles ahead of us.

we must give this guy our support first and critisize if need be after he has built his team and they have geled well with the rest we have

26 Apr 2017 15:57:09
Sack him give it to murty 😂😂

26 Apr 2017 21:17:05
You could give the job to Pep Guadioala and it would make little difference. He needs new players. Issue is that the, re are only 3 players out of contract at end of season so can't get rid and who is going to buy the rest? They won't leave because they won't get the same money elsewhere. So Rangers are not going to buy more players when they have a squad they can't get rid of. Don't expect much better next season because there may be an improvement but no challenge

26 Apr 2017 21:25:02
Of course not have u seen the state of his Man Shitty team😜

27 Apr 2017 09:40:57
James Stirling

No one has said sack him and I think he has been given good support by the fans. However when your Rangers boss you will get criticised when things go wrong. Surely you would agree he got his team selection wrong on Sunday and the fact we let them play with no pressure on them is unacceptable? Of course he has inherited a shocking squad but he put unnecessary pressure on himself when he said he had the best squad in the country. We aren't even the 2nd best

26 Apr 2017 09:22:34
Come on guys, Miller was always going to be offered a new contract once Pedro had seen him in his current run of form.

He is easily our best performing player but he's 37.

If Pedro had simply agreed with everyone on day one and given Miller a contract it would not have said much about him.

Only question now is whether they agree how much he is worth but given that no other PL team that would want him can match our (weak) budget, he will sign.

26 Apr 2017 16:23:26
he has had his best parts of his career at ibrox and he doesn't want to leave and thank feck for that as he is a good leader and great role model for younger players coming through the ranks, al they have to do is watch him with the work ethic he has and try to emulate that no matter how tallented they are.

hope mckay reads this as his work ethic isn't up to scratch and needs to take a leaf out of millers book.
