The boy wanted to stay down South, so no big deal! It's a better league, and regardless if they get relegated, the boy has the chance to put himself in the shop window for a move to a bigger team. Good luck to him!

I've said many times that most players will go for the money, but this is a young guy who could easily put himself in the shop window Europe wide if he came to us. I personally see this as a lack of ambition from Trusty, but if he's happy to play for a team that will lose every week, giving away guaranteed European football for a few extra quid every week that's up to him.

As much as it's a better league, bouncy has a point. He's going to a team who's main ambition will be not to relegated, when let's face it itscalmost certain they go down. rather than challenging for trophies at a far bigger club and playing potentially champions league but at very least European football every season.

It’s not such an easy choice.
Possible Champions League but guaranteed Europa League and competing for trophies on all fronts domestically, alternatively trying not to get relegated in EPL all be it against some good opposition,
He’s probably getting paid better in the EPL but I think some of you talk down what we offer prospective signings at Rangers.

I've said before on here, this is a result of agents and the academy system.
These young lads are being promised and given life changing amounts of money, to secure their and probably their families future.
Teams and medals don't count for much nowadays.
Times have changed.

Naw I’d say the epl is still the biggest but I think it’s fair to say that in the next 3 years we will be tuning into the biggest league in the world in Saudi.
Once they take all the biggest players they will start coming in for all the best youth players from Spain n England France etc and all the best coaches.
This will be the next phase if u like, to help bring on their own youth players.
I think we’re seeing the biggest change to world football potentially ever, certainly in my lifetime.
The European super league is happening in front of us, just not in Europe. ??♂️?.

He is a footballer it's his career not like he can play football till retirement age at a certain point players of a certain level need to look at best deal they can get money wise.
