Here we go, folk jumping on the ‘our board are awful, shocking, sack the board’ guff already. So let’s look at things properly. Prior to the window (and with lots of injuries) under Clement and with the players we had we, win the league cup, cut the gap in the league and qualified for last 16 in Europe. This window we have brought in 3 creative / attacking players. Players that clearly the manager wanted, and we’ve managed to do so in very creative ways to get around spending much money in this window which won’t have been easy. The reason we’ve had to do this? NOT because the board don’t want spend, or ‘dip their hands into their own pockets (which actually, by the way, isn’t the way a board/ club should do things) but in fact due to FFP RULES. In any season clubs now have to prove they can break even financially and as we spent more than we brought in in the summer, in terms of tranfer dealings we are already in the red. Yes other revenue streams will help to balance that over the course of the season, but we can’t continue to over spend in this window and risk potential UEFA sanctions.
Look at Newcastle, on paper probably the richest club in the world due to Saudi backers, yet right now can’t buy anyone and in fact having to sell players so as not to get into trouble. People need to realise the way the business of football works before slating the club.

Goforbig we can't have lots midfield options wasnt that long ago that sterling has had to move to middle of the park as we have nobody. Jack will be away in thr summer. Raskin always picks up knocks and lunmy new deal on table but not signed yet.

As I said yesterday and earlier today we ain't bringing a striker in and we where in talks with no one only cortes for some reason PC thinks we are covered in that area board where willing to fund a striker deal but PC decided against it hope it doesn't come back to bite us.

Think that’s Freudian slip from you on your own thoughts regarding Clement personally I love nearly everything Clement has done so far and think he’s a proper manager

I just think people are forgetting this could be one of last years automatic champions league qualification is available with the rest of Scottish football dragging down our ranking and other countries on way up.
