Can't get Sundays result out of head. I now fear that if our manager doesn't make some huge decisions then he will be like the rest in recent times. Both Naive line ups against Celtic and Ross county. I said that if we didn't get a CB and a striker in Jan it will come back to bite us. Even a couple of freebies.

In all honesty we've been poor for a while but scraping results.

I don't think Dundee tomorrow will get much different. Who do we play? Who do we drop? Some big decisions ahead Mr Clement.

There's definitely players who need dropped, but they won't be. There's also players who should never wear our top again, but they will.

Rtr we don't have players good enough to come in but I trust PC tbh he's not going to allow the same players to lose him his job.

i too am very concerned if he can't see he is putting different teams out that make no sense, wright in for of game, then out again, matondo scores 2 screamers and changes games, out again ad on when a games gone, goldson old firm nightmare, back in again at county, silva falling all over the place, in again, i'm struggling with selections atm if i'm honest, balogun matondo possibly even davies should have played at county, if only to give them minutes, i think if they had played we would have won, imo.

Great post Tom. Wright and Dowell baffle me. As does not playing Raskin, Sterling or Matondo. I wouldn't even start Dessers tomorrow.

Tom, good post. I come on here before a game to gauge reaction of the team selection, and recently posters have called out the selection in recent games. Clement has worked wonders, but team selection needs to improve.

how long did he have, he isn't superman, making no sense at all there, so you expect him to score every week with a few minutes game time? . don't understand that at all, by your reckoning he should nevber play again because he didn't score,

to put it in perspective, if a guy comes on and scores wondergoals, changes games and especially in such a big game, then gets on with minutes left against ross county, he has to ask himself what he is doing here, if clement couldn't see dessers cantwell et all were hopeless he should have changed it much earlier, but i believe he had wrong team in first place, again.

Our squad is an embarrassment and it is 100% down to the quality of our signings over a number of seasons. We keep hearing that we will go for quality over quantity and then we go straight out and buy more mediocre players or pick up 3rd rate Bosmans.
Let's see if a change at the top across the Club makes a difference this summer.
We must have some good young players that could come in to the squad and there are certainly some good players out there that we could pick up on Bosmans. Thereafter we need to spend serious money to bring in what is needed and with the exception of those that go on frees at the end of the season, (and we shouldn't renew one contract), I struggle to see how we can get rid of guys like Davies.
The league can still be won but I doubt that the current squad can deliver. Even if the defence can keep a clean sheet, unlikely that this is, do we really see our attack scoring goals.
Yet again we need a rebuild in the summer, it seems to be a perennial problem. We have a new Chairman, we need new investors and new, more ambitious Board Members. Too many only their for a blazer and their seat in the stand.

Matondo is ok when it is beat one man and shoot - he is just a shorter faster R. Kent in my eyes - when he has to think and process things it is dangerous just like RK - decision making poor most of the time - yes he has bagged a couple of worldies recently but many many games he is posted missing and flatters to deceive-- he does have pace to burn but how many times do we try to capitalise on this using long balls over back four -rarely is the answer
I don't believe he is a long term answer for us imo.

Id go with sima and dessers up top. Dessers can't be the only one who gets the chances.
Somerhing has got to give. If the fans see the lineup tomorrow and it includes tav goldson and lundstram they will be grumbling from the off. Sterling needs to play in centre mid. he's too good to be a utility man and on the bench at a time when we are playing poor.
