Allegedly there's a good few clubs interested in signing hearts striker lawrence shankland in january ? A question to one and all here ie. will lawrence shankland be a rangers player in january ? We all know we're definitely going to be signing a striker in january ?.

I hope I’m wrong but I’m not sure Shankland will be a rangers player in January I fear we will get priced out of a deal. Snobbery from rangers has cost us signing several good Scottish players. I always felt Lewis Ferguson was a natural replacement for Scott Arfield we struggle for goals from Midfield and Shankland in the summer was also obvious for me along with Nisbet we put too much value on some foreign players. Many have said on here Walter Smith bought some great Scottish players for rangers and it helps us be successful I get the landscape has changed some what and some Scottish clubs can be difficult to deal with but Shankland should have been signed years ago!

As much as I'd love to see Shankland at Rangers, as I really feel he could be difference in the second half of the season? I just don't see him coming. Hearts will price us out a move and will accept a lower offer from a club down south.

I'll give you a laugh here guys ?I had a hearts fan telling me last night rangers should pay hearts at least £4million if we're serious about signing lawrence shankland and even went on to say that shankland was their harry kane ??.

Watched Shankland a few times recently and not convinced, yes he scores goals, exactly what we are looking for, but as others on here have pointed out, looks a tad overweight, slow and poor ball control, and probably overpriced. Thinking there has to be better out there and surely PC has his own targets in mind possibly from his days in Belgium. So it’s a no from me.

I would sign him if the deal was right but I can’t see that happening. I’d imagine we will look elsewhere for a loan or a team willing to sell without inflated price tag.

Said recently there is interest in him and if we are interested will need to pay around 3.5 to 4 million.
Could happen but not surprised if we bring in a loan.

Don’t believe he’ll be a Rangers player come January, Hearts will be looking the going rate, ( and they are right ) if shoe on other foot Rangers would want top dollar? PC will have already scouted someone out as loan or permanent, January is a bad transfer time.
