Re watching the Naderi reel I posted. Looking at it he could be ready made for Scottish football in regards to how tight the opposition are and in tight spaces, not getting a lot of time on the ball etc. Can see a lot of similarities with the spl.

Not comparing him at all, but as he turned away after scoring a few, I thought of Duncan Ferguson. I know, mental!

03 Feb 2026 21:08:57
Throw him into the start tomorrow, let's see how he does.

03 Feb 2026 21:28:05
Agree, Onewalter, the lad is match fit.

03 Feb 2026 22:42:28
Does he have ITC though?

04 Feb 2026 02:06:47
Agree, Onewalter, can't be any worse than Chermiti or Miovski.

03 Feb 2026 13:42:04
Remi Wulff if this is complete you will receive a very large belated Christmas gift.

Might be the lack of sleep with new baby, but I'm struggling to link whether this is related to your post on the rumours page or a different one. Please enlighten us. 😬

03 Feb 2026 14:22:34
Dahl's agent, Will, and congrats on the ankle biter. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Very much related, Will.

Congratulations btw on the birth of your little one. πŸŽ‰

Thank you, guys, much appreciated!

03 Feb 2026 13:09:40
Chris Eadie away to Sheffield United on a permanent deal, small fee with sell on, I wish him well.

03 Feb 2026 20:49:37
Surprised the CoOp agreement with Stirling Albion wasn't enough to entice him to remain in Scottish football.

03 Feb 2026 12:03:50
Glasgow is preferred destination apparently.

03 Feb 2026 11:15:56
Some news in instagram, by an Italian journalist, that Rangers are about to sign Dahl. Could we have pulled off a late night miracle? Can't see how a signing today would be permitted.

Agree0

03 Feb 2026 11:45:01
think signings past the deadline can be permitted if they are at a certain stage, not sure how long after they have to be completed or if i'm even correct in the first place.

Hope it's true but can't see it being the case.

03 Feb 2026 13:10:30
Tav not for international signings from what I read. they need to be signed by the close of the buying clubs window. my search said 12 but I suspect that was due to European time zone being an hour ahead (well at least I think it is at this time of year)

03 Feb 2026 14:11:15
Ah, I thought in certain circumstances clubs could get an extension if the deal was completed up to a certain point.

03 Feb 2026 15:34:37
Yes, so did I. They can put a deal sheet into the SFA and get up to 2 hours if the SFA are in agreement. However, when I checked, it seemed to say that international transfers were different. Rules are lengthy and confusing though. Even so, the maximum 2 hours would be passed.

03 Feb 2026 09:06:17
Reading on various sites other bears rating this window from 4/10 to 8/10.

What's folks' thoughts on here regarding how well we've done this window?

Agree0

03 Feb 2026 09:53:41
7/8
Any Rangers fan voting 4 out of 10 only says it's never happy.

03 Feb 2026 10:14:13
For me, it was 1 blockbuster signing off being a 9. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰
But really, maybe a 7, IF, the new guys, Olson in particular get up to speed quickly.
Everyone new we were screaming for a goal scoring centre, so best of luck to Naderi πŸ‘.

03 Feb 2026 10:20:04
I think Naderi will be a good signing maybe along the lines of jelavic.

I genuinely thin Skov Olsen is going to be a big time flop.
Hope I'm wrong.

Rommens I. Believe will be our best left back since Arthur numan

Chucky I think will be a good signing.

03 Feb 2026 10:21:19
9/10 would have been 10 if the dominoes had fell on a way that allowed us to get 5 in.

03 Feb 2026 10:42:54
6 I would say.

03 Feb 2026 10:53:37
On paper it looks an astute window. Let's see how these signings perform. The boys on long term deals I think will be fine but ASO might struggle if we keep insisting on being passive in possession, we need to get the ball to him quicker especially in transition.

03 Feb 2026 11:02:55
Cheers my star, personally I'm in your camp also. Being greedy I would've like a creative midfielder as well, but feel we've done well thus far.

03 Feb 2026 11:48:15
Stevie agree with your thoughts.

03 Feb 2026 12:36:57
Imo probably a 6/10.

We have bought what looks like four very good players, I expect Olosen to sign in July so all 4 year deals, some with an option. That produces stability,

We moved on Cortez, Dowell Rothwell Nsiala Cameron, and likely Danilo, we all know Matondo finished and Davies also leaves at end off season, , none off the aforementioned have any future game time at our club. Same goes for cifuentes.

Last two windows we have made a very good job of clearing the old regime legacy.

Most off the six loan players if not all will leave, couple decisions to be made re Souttar Kelly Tavernier king. Not all will be staying

Next summer will be very important progressing forward.

03 Feb 2026 12:40:23
Stevie he's not game fit mate, needs a bit longer, can remember many, not only one or two on here saying these things about Cerny after longer than a couple of games, must say I've never been impressed with anything he's done in they games but he'll get longer from me anyway, he's hardly kicked a ball all season let's see what he's like when game fit.

03 Feb 2026 13:12:56
am I being negative by saying it is too early to say. I hate to think how many windows I have seen recently where the players we buy don't amount to anything despite the form they have shown for the teams we buy them from.

I am more hopeful this time that longer term we have made astute buys. I think as always they will take longer to fit into the team and reach their full potential.

so probably a 6 rising to an 8 if I am honest.

03 Feb 2026 17:26:24
Considering our past January windows, I would say 8/10. Hopefully the new guys get up to speed and settle quickly, which, going by how the squad have responded to Danny Rohl and his coaching team by getting us back into a title fight, they will come good soon.

03 Feb 2026 20:18:30
You being negative? That's a 1st.

02 Feb 2026 23:02:29
Ryan Naderi confirmed. πŸ‘.

Agree2

02 Feb 2026 23:50:47
Was confirmed yesterday, prior to that there was no deal other than a verbal agreement to sign him in the next window, with clubs like RB Leipzig looking at moving for Naderi, we had to make our move or lose him to RBL, Ryan has all the attributes to be a success at any club he moves to.

5 mill was a bargain in my opinion for a cf that is just as good in possession as out of possession, very fast pace and dribbling, ramraids defences and scores with thunderous shots, has a superb pass and passes with precision, drags multiple defenders out of position and can see other players in better positions to score and will assist pass to them, has excellent vision and is very strong physically, fits Danny's system to a T.

And is strong enough to break through the low block teams play against us with our high press, will be our 1st choice striker in my opinion as he is bigger goal threat than Chermiti, Miovski, Danilo were combined.

You will all see very soon why Danny wanted Naderi so much, and we would have regretted not sealing the deal with Leipzig ready to pounce and make him their next cf signing.
Welcome to Rangers Ryan, now silence the doubters and justify Rohl's decision to pursue you and make your dream move from Hansa a reality, and light up Ibrox with your goals and talent.
I have 100% faith in Naderi being a success with us and can't wait to see him lead our front line.
All the hums n haws about him coming from the 3rd division and us paying too much will be forgotten about when you see just how talented this lad is.

03 Feb 2026 02:57:04
5 million for a player that plays in the 3rd division is overpaying imo hope he proves me wrong.

03 Feb 2026 08:25:36
we thought what we paid for Fernandez was too high as well and how has that gone with him as a player. try to ignore the prices as you can't influence them. support the player as you can influence how he plays on the park.

if he improves at same rate as Fernandez then the price isn't relevant. If he doesn't then remember we have multi-millionaire American owners πŸ˜‰.

03 Feb 2026 08:37:00
rfc what league had Tillman played most of his professional footballing career in prior to joining Rangers? The 3rd and 4th tiers of german football. He was technically one of the best players in the league, if not the best as soon as he arrived. Looking at what he's managed to do since leaving and the fees involved, 5 million would have been a steal

03 Feb 2026 09:55:03
This overpaying is utter crap, we don't pay we don't get.

03 Feb 2026 10:51:21
Tav/Star agree. most weren't aware of the 3 liga or heard of the player before we were linked. now they suddenly know what a player is worth from there based on newspaper reports giving prices they are probably guessing.

I am equally as ignorant but will give him time to find his feet and see if he can be the best he can be for us. so will be back on commenting after his first 50 minutes or so πŸ˜‰.

02 Feb 2026 20:44:44
Rothwell away to Sheffield United confirmed on sky.

Agree1

02 Feb 2026 21:10:53
Yo Jimbo good to move him on.

02 Feb 2026 23:53:19
Yes more money saved on a player Rohl does not see of any use at Rangers, doesn't work in our system, best for club and player, all the best Joe.

02 Feb 2026 20:44:39
Rosto when did I ever "promote" Thelo Aasgaard?

If you are going to have a go at me let's get the facts correct.

Rangers have bought/hired 4 people I have actively promoted on this site.

Danny RΓΆhl
Mohammed Diomande
Oliver Antman
Andreas Skov Olsen

Now NONE if these can be considered a flop.

Agree1

02 Feb 2026 21:35:18
Do you rate Aasgaard Aphe? I am Up and down with him tbh. Think he will move on in the summer.

02 Feb 2026 21:39:44
Antman is a flop right at this min mate he could turn it around but is a flop.

02 Feb 2026 22:01:06
I hope Antman turns it around but he doesn't fill me with confidence.

02 Feb 2026 22:03:28
StrΓΈm he has been at the club for 6 months and injured for a large block.

He is not a flop and attitude like that makes no sense.

Gers1980 I do rate Thelo but I don't believe he suits the way Rangers play.

I think if he were to play at Motherwell/Hearts he would be lauded as one of the best in the league because they get time and space.
And not expected to be world beaters after 10 minutes.

That is why I push back on the likes of the Motherwell winger because Rangers is not like any other SPFL club.

02 Feb 2026 22:27:08
Aphe, unfortunately you get 52 minutes to prove your worth or like ASO you are considered to not be any good. No time given to build a decent team/squad/club for the future whilst still challenging for the league in the present. Typical I think of the lack of patience shown in general in society today.

I wonder how it would have gone with Maswanhise if we had signed him and he hadn't transferred his Motherwell goals to us. doubt we will know unless we bid the no doubt high figure Motherwell will demand in the summer.

02 Feb 2026 22:47:15
Antman is a flop so far, Skov Olsen has done absolutely zero to suggest he's going to be a success as it stands.

Diomande has been ok but nothing special.

02 Feb 2026 23:36:47
Your absolutely correct Angus.

Players not good enough after 2 half matches.

Flops after a long injury lay off.

I am not going to argue as it's not worth it.

Might as well add Danny to the flop list as he lost his first semi final and we are not top of the league yet.

Honestly I give up trying to be positive.

02 Feb 2026 23:42:33
The responses to this . 😫.

03 Feb 2026 00:12:25
Antman was doing well, until Martin shut him and most of the team down with his crappy tactical nonsense.

Antman was injured so not his fault, if anyone cam get him back to previous form like we saw in his 1st game and that hat trick quality and his dutch premier form Rohl can, the whole team were mince when Danny took the reigns at Ibrox
Hence us being in our worst league position for a very long time, Rohl and the coaches switched us back to winning games again and got us back in the title race and European contention, Aasgaard has been scoring regularly again of late.

Chukwuani, Rommens, Skov Olsen are still learning Rohl's system it doesn't happen instantly, they all came from teams with different tactical systems and styles, it took time to get the mess Rohl inherited back on track, the new lads also get time to gel that's normal at any club, they will come good, we have an good window, considering its the winter window, we have strengthened in several positions where we were lacking or had no available competition to rotate with similar players.

03 Feb 2026 08:29:15
Stevie just a different use of the language but at worst I would say that Antman was unproven as he hasn't played that often due to injuries. ASO has had 52 and 69 minutes so far at a new club after an almost 3 month period without games.

I know I need to warm up when I get up off a chair these days to remember how to even walk well. not as easy as just putting on the jersey.
we need to give both of them a chance before writing them off.

03 Feb 2026 10:22:19
Angus absolutely mate.

Couldn't agree more. But, as it stands that's the situation with them mate.
