Very good MPH, new program coming out about Iran / Israel with Liam Neeson in next month or so looks good and is similar, I think.

08 Sep 2026 20:22:00
I'll keep an eye out for it, Wishy. πŸ‘

08 Sep 2026 20:46:27
Is that Fauda dubbed?

09 Sep 2026 09:16:01
Lioness is one of my favs lol.

09 Sep 2026 09:54:41
Lioness is outstanding, Reacher and The Agency both class and along those lines too, Stig.

09 Sep 2026 10:07:29
Stig, assume you're referring to the intriguing storyline and military combat in the film and not the 'action'. πŸ˜‚

Why do the press constantly avoid asking McInnes hard questions such as, will Kelly get an opportunity to play a cup game? what is the clubs position on Souttar and why is he not part of the squad? is he injured or refusing to play or is there something else, will you seek cover for Shankland?

Are you for real? You think asking if the sub goaly is playing in a cup game is an important question?

The other two topics were also covered at length. Are you sure you listened?

09 Sep 2026 10:11:44
Onlyme, if we were 5/5 in the league, qualified for Europe and it wasn't an Old Firm cup game, then Kelly may well get his chance in goals. Not sure we're in a position to be playing anything other than our strongest possible XI, sentiment goes out the window.
As for Souttar, McInnes explained that he has been advised that his future lies elsewhere and a move could still come to fruition over the coming days.

Manager also covered that we have 3 capable strikers in the building, who he's confident can do the job in the absence of their colleagues.

06 Sep 2026 22:00:44
We all have our own personal opinions of bojan Miovski and whether we rate him as a striker or not, so before i say what i'm going to say i'll nail my colours to the mast and say i rate him πŸ€”πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Managers make their own decisions and that's fine but i feel sorry for Miovski and his very limited chances he's had in his Rangers career, because for me this guy is a natural finisher. πŸ‘Œ

I see tonight he's released a statement saying he's sacked his agent and will now conduct all his own business himself πŸ€” Obviously he's been wanting to get a move out of Rangers and who can blame him because he deserves to be playing football for a club as he's a good striker and never really had a chance at Rangers if we're all being totally honest and he's sacked his agent for not getting him a new club to go to, even if it was only an original season long loan deal. πŸ€”

I absolutely don't grudge Miovski that and it must be very frustrating for him that he's stuck for now at Rangers and not getting a look in πŸ€”The thing is now with shanks out injured for a period of time and of course Chermiti out for the season, that only leaves us meantime with kelsy, Naderi and Miovski as our recognised strikers, so plain to see we'll need to have Miovski involved until at least january as he'll be called upon at some point πŸ€”πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Miovski hasn't had much of a chance, Sws, he won't let us down if called on, mate, supply him with amo and he's put them away, very good finisher.

07 Sep 2026 08:12:06
Maybe going out on a limb here, but I thought the way we played at weekend would suit him, faster transition, passing forward, not (occasionally) sideways & not facing an eight man defence in front of him as well had a go.

He is all we have, behind young Naderi & new Kelsy, with Chermiti & Shankland out, so when he gets the chance, he needs to make it count, big time.
Stand up & make yourself a hero, son.

07 Sep 2026 08:59:28
Over 35 appearances my star, how if fbat bot a chance.

07 Sep 2026 09:34:26
He needs to earn a chance, maybe start putting in a shift at the training would be favourable for him.

07 Sep 2026 09:44:05
I am the same as all, hearing rumours of poor in training etc. I do think he will have his part to play over the coming weeks/months, and it is then up to him. From a personal opinion, I just don't think he works hard enough for the team.

07 Sep 2026 12:04:14
John, been a Rangers player a while now, how many of them were starts? And what is his goal ratio in minutes played?

07 Sep 2026 12:28:43
I wrote this on the other thread but the managers see him every day in training and assess him so it's difficult to say he hasn't been given a chance.

And that's 3 managers who haven't wanted to start him. He's not getting ahead of Shankland. Chermiti and Kelsy came on big fees, so he's not starting in front of them.

07 Sep 2026 12:33:12
Bee, any manager is always picking one of his best cf's. Miovski isn't that as a Rangers player, which is why he's not played as many games as he'd like, but he still hasn't had many chances.

07 Sep 2026 12:39:29
My star, that is not the point. The point is he has not committed to getting more minutes.

07 Sep 2026 12:50:36
John, I know nothing about that, but don't think he'd let us down if called on. Actually, happy he never moved, hopefully steps up and gets his move in January.

07 Sep 2026 13:29:33
My star, he allegedly has interest from Serbia.

07 Sep 2026 13:36:17
John, we maybe need him, only got 2 cf's now. Wouldn't have minded him moving earlier, but not now.

07 Sep 2026 13:40:33
My star, he does not want to be here, get rid of.

07 Sep 2026 13:56:28
But he may not want to be here as he isn't getting minutes. I can understand that, and, from what has been said, he sacked his agent as he was badly advised to not make a move in the summer. If he was lazy, then he would surely just sit with us and take his money as 4th choice striker.

I think perhaps there were a few players who were told at end of last season they weren't in manager's plans and should move. That is the club making a decision, and doesn't mean the player doesn't want to be here.

07 Sep 2026 14:02:09
Angus, it's difficult for a player when Rohl says u have no future, the McInnes walks in and says if u want minutes, go else where

Miovski only interested in his salary, he wants out.

07 Sep 2026 19:16:57
I'm only interested in my salary then, because if my work said they didn't want me, then I might be inclined to keep taking that salary until I get a better offer or move; not sure anyone else would be different.

But it seems that he did get an offer, his agents advised him to wait for another team, and he missed the chance to move.

Hence why he sacked his agents. If the club don't want his wage to be given for nothing, then they have the option to play him. So, we are as much at fault as he is imo as we signed him on a deal for a certain number of years and don't want to honour that by telling him to leave.

07 Sep 2026 21:05:57
Miovski was a panic buy.
By a regime who would have known nothing about him.
But obviously listened to someone who said he was excellent at Aberdeen about 3 seasons ago now.

08 Sep 2026 17:04:39
McInnes just said in his interview today on Miovski, throughout how he trains, and has been great since pre season.

08 Sep 2026 17:28:34
Meaning he has no problem with him, and trains well.

09 Sep 2026 10:16:18
Miovski is a capable striker. We just don't play to his strengths imo.
He was class at Aberdeen and earned his big money move, but Aberdeen don't spend 80-odd mins playing against sides camped on their 18 yard line.

He scored some great goals up there, and a lot of them were on the counter or when he was playing off the shoulder. It looks as though McInnes wants us to play more like this, so he may find more opportunities when he plays.

09 Sep 2026 22:08:07
Amazing what happens when we play to his strengths. πŸ˜¬πŸ˜‚

7 now, and why, if in control, does he change it again? St Mirren more in the game after changes. He ain't got a clue!!!

09 Sep 2026 22:29:53
You went a bit early there, blue!

05 Sep 2026 20:31:23
I have to say, I was happy with the result and really enjoyed the game. There were much better performances throughout the team.

Gassama looked like a different player today. He was far more direct, taking on his man and dribbling past the Motherwell defence to create shooting opportunities. He has to keep doing that because this is exactly what we want to see from him. Today proved he has the ability he just needs to polish up his finishing.

Curtis played well too and was involved in a lot of our passages of play along with Min-su

Neil did well and earned Man of the Match, so you can't really ask for much more from him.
Hopefully some will see he's a better player than originally thought of.

I thought our defence looked pretty solid today, and hopefully we can build on that. Makhanya looks a solid defender who will only get better. I thought Sterling and Fernandez had good games as well.

To be honest, Raskin was the only one who never really imposed himself on the game for me. He needs to get his head back in the game, as he's going to be here for the foreseeable future.

Overall, though, it was a good, har fought result and a much improved performance throughout πŸ’™

Fantastic performance the day should have easily been 5-0.

05 Sep 2026 19:38:05
Could be no complaints is it was 5-0, mate.

06 Sep 2026 08:18:08
5 0, might have made us a bit complacent!!
Hard fought 1 0, will do just now (although not good for the heart), means we know we can improve & that is the goal surely?

05 Sep 2026 17:24:59
Slowly but surely we're looking better and building something. Should have been out of sight. Thought Dan Neil was really good and he's hopefully finding his feet now.
