I don't know how many times I can watch the same thing unfold this season. Dominate the ball, create nothing and concede from the only chances the home team creates. It's a joke that we cannot make use of our better players.

Worralls a total scare! How he gets a game before Katic is beyond me! Sick of that boy not getting a game in front a him 😡.

2.) 24 Jan 2019 17:12:19
Yeah it’s galling that he would rather play a hap hazard loan signing and leave out a good young signed player. You can see why Worrell didn’t get a game for Forrest.

I was reminded of a player earlier on and thought he'd be the exact type of player we need. Wes hoolahan. I know odds are he's one of them but his contract is up with West Brom next month and apparently Gerrard enquired about him in the summer. He's 36 but he's technically gifted and very clever as well, exactly what we're lacking. He might not be able to play every week but could be useful.

Boli-poly

1.) 24 Dec 2018 07:44:20
you are definitely at the wind up, "technically gifted"? Not even when he was in his prime.

2.) 24 Dec 2018 15:13:08
No I'm not at the windup the guy has an ability that not one player we currently have in our squad has. I'm not saying he would be the best player ever but he definitely has it in him to make a difference. He can spot a pass, all we do at the moment is throw crosses into the box and hope. We have nobody that has the ability to split a stubborn defence with a pass.

3.) 26 Dec 2018 11:43:32
Ok Wes, you can come out from behind Boli-poly now.

23 Aug 2018 21:43:05
Im a little disappointed we couldn't really press on for a second but I'm still confident we can go through. They looked a poorer side than Osijek and Maribor, didn't offer much going forward and if they have to come out a bit then there'll be gaps to exploit. The ref was pretty poor as well, not punishing them for multiple fouls or the numerous foul throws.

1.) 23 Aug 2018 23:16:00
100% agree. We saw more from Ejaria tonight too. Thought he was impressive.

2.) 23 Aug 2018 23:19:17
Boli I couldn't believe how many foul throws there were! I agree, they didn't offer much going forward so hopefully we can get in behind when they cone out next week.

3.) 23 Aug 2018 23:57:44
Big thing is this is a European tie and we haven’t conceded an away goal, that could turn out to be priceless!

4.) 24 Aug 2018 00:51:22
Hope we attack them a bit more than we did against Maribor away, because their defence looked poor when progres played them in Russia and were unlucky not to score more than 1.

5.) 24 Aug 2018 09:42:07
You can’t really compare the game to Maribor or Osijek mate, UFA had no intention of coming out their objective was clear, sit in and stop us. Where as Maribor and Osijek had a proper go at us. Not as talented a team but certainly organised and done their homework had an extra man on the left to stop Tav bombing down and left our left side light cause Flanagan rarely ventures forward, if Barisic had been eligible last night that would have opened the game up more for us I reckon. But the win is the most important thing and not conceding is a massive boost, score over there and they need 3. Can’t see us letting 1 in never mind 3. 3pm our team next week for kick off guys, half day at work is already sorted!

6.) 24 Aug 2018 13:09:41
Parky i couldn't believe how many penalties wernt given.

7.) 24 Aug 2018 15:06:48
Their keeper looked a bit suspect too. 4 times, including the goal, he flapped and/ or panicked. Hopefully he’s even worse in front of his own fans.

As much as I think McGregor had been excellent he has really frustrated and angered me this season with his completely unnecessary kicks and elbows etc. He's far too good and experienced to be doing things like that. Tonight's was the worst of the lot and I can't argue against him getting a ban.

We may have been the victim of poor red card decisions but the sheer number of times our players have gotten involved or started incidents is alarming. I'm all for us being fired up but there's a line that we've crossed too many times. I don't think an appeal for morelos will be forthcoming either.

Boli-poly

1.) 07 Feb 2019 00:03:00
Agree 109%.

2.) 07 Feb 2019 06:08:42
Can they ban him tho? As the ref clearly saw the incident and decided not to do anything. Very silly man if you ask me he is 37 and has years of experience behind him. He should be setting examples rather than what he did. Still buzzing from a great win. Onto Saturday now, think Killie have had their moment, time to extract some revenge.

3.) 07 Feb 2019 07:15:02
I agree he didn’t have any need to do it as he had complete control of the ball.
What annoys me though is that the media will try and get him banned because he plays for us.
Look at the BBC highlights of the game last night they have added this incident but not included Ferguson’s where he leaves the studs on MacGregor.
Gordon did this a season or two ago and Brown did it in the last old firm but the media said nothing.
I agree 100% that he’s stupid doing it but as the very upset And bitter Steve Clarke says there must be consistency and there is not and especially not in the media coverage.

I fully expect Sutton, Hartson, Stewart, Walker, McLeod etc etc to be pushing this as hard as they can through their
Mhedia jobs to try and get him banned.

4.) 07 Feb 2019 08:50:05
He deserves to get banned, he is a knob sometimes with his antics. Keep doing what he is good at, stopping ball going into net.

5.) 07 Feb 2019 12:19:53
I read Sutton’s at it again, saying Shagger should have been sent off last night, and should still be sent off retrospective.

6.) 07 Feb 2019 13:56:20
Shagger has always been like that, with the fly wee kickouts at anyone running into him. he will never change as much as he is a great keeper i don't see him giving up on that part of his skills.

27 Jan 2019 16:50:34
Not a great first half but we're winning which is something we struggle to do when not playing well. As much as I like arfield he's not a number 10, he contributes almost nothing in terms of build up. Of course it doesn't help that we're just pumping it long and bypassing him. Always feel we need a second as I just don't trust the defence regardless of who's playing.

23 Dec 2018 13:04:55
Something has to be done to address the fact that it takes no pressure to score against us. We have 2 thirds of the ball and are camped inside other teams halves yet they go forward once and get a goal. Doesn't matter who plays in defence I don't feel confident when the ball goes near any of them.

Boli-poly

1.) 23 Dec 2018 13:17:40
Teams always get chances against us, we are poor at them back, centre backs constantly giving ball away, nothing going forward, can’t believe we paid 2 million for Grezda as he’s the worst I’ve ever seen in a blue jersey, offers nothing, looks scared! Woeful for last month or so but SG doesn’t get criticism!

2.) 23 Dec 2018 13:19:30
Grezda is rank rotten. Why does he continually start?

3.) 23 Dec 2018 13:22:30
This is garbage to watch. Worrall makes Goldson a worse player. God knows what they all do in training. No creativity whatsoever. don't tell me Stevie G can’t see this? Get a grip Rangers.

4.) 23 Dec 2018 16:19:33
Goldson has been horrific last few weeks himself, sold the goal today just head that clear.

23 Dec 2018 12:58:32
Coulibaly might be a half decent player if he ever finally gets the ball under control.

I know injuries, suspensions and lack of personnel have dictated it but we shouldn't be playing Hamilton with a midfield setup like that. I like mccrorie, jack and arfield but it's too defensive a trio. It should be mccrorie or jack, there's no need for both. Neither will break beyond the ball or get in and around lafferty.

Boli-poly

1.) 16 Dec 2018 16:02:02
Shows how short of midfield options we are and need to make some quality signings in January.

2.) 16 Dec 2018 21:33:15
Well jack did boli.

I think starting both was probably the wrong call considering they both put in a massive shift against Ufa a few days before. It's not ejarias game to chase and close down although he does try, he might have been better coming on later if we'd found a foothold. Kent is not good defensively and a bit rough round the edges but his willingness to run and try things opens the game up sometimes.

I agree the killie pitch looked awful and you could see the ball taking daft bounces but I watched the highlights of the Seattle sounders v La galaxy match that was on an artificial surface and it looked fine. I'm assuming it's of far better quality than what's available in Ayrshire. I'm sure a similar thing happened to arteta at Everton when he innocently turned and did his ligaments and that was on grass. You can take all the precautions you want but you can't stop a simple case of bad luck, daft as that sounds.

Think we missed a trick in the lower leagues by not promoting a few youngsters but hoping we'll see a few breakthrough in the coming years. It's in our best interests as it would be our most realistic business model to produce players and sell them on. I know it's a different level buy Ajax are the best example, they get raided every year yet they keep producing, probably what we should be aiming for in the long run.

{Ed039's Note - I wholeheartedly agree)

The whole process has been a farce but has anyone actually found proof that she has association with the dark side? Some of the stuff I've seen about this woman has been first class paranoia. I'm not denying anything but there's been a few fans jumping to large conclusions. Hard to take digs about Celtic fans being conspiracy obsessed when there's enough of it in our own ranks. Again I stress I'm not defending her because she's made a complete arse of things.

I just noticed that how according to bbc kilmarnock apparently had the 14 best players on the pitch today yet it finished all square. Doesn't add up somehow.

I said at the time that if he really had it in him to be a great player he would have worked harder to impose his own game on the league. Just because the style of play doesn't suit you is no reason to turn and run.
