Joe dodoo is set to make a season long loan deal to Blackpool in the coming week according to ssn

1.) 11 Jun 2018 14:16:55
Be better just releasing the boy.

Not saying he's a bad player, but we need the raise the standard of player at the club, I really can't see him cutting it, but we will see.

2.) 11 Jun 2018 14:26:11
Old news, been out there for the past week or so!

3.) 11 Jun 2018 17:51:25
Bear mode 5 disagreeing with you (clueless)

4.) 11 Jun 2018 18:26:38
Ronnie are we not better to give him a years loan to build confidence and fulfill his potential and make the standard at Ibrox, if he doesn’t he may have done enough to earn a transfer to a smaller club earning us cash is this not a better option than just releasing a young talent buying out his contract and regretting it if he improves over the next year

5.) 11 Jun 2018 18:32:07
What potential the guy isn’t good enough! Couldn’t even make a rangers team which has been dreadful last few years.

6.) 11 Jun 2018 20:45:11
Joe popoo enuff sed

7.) 12 Jun 2018 01:03:58
I know Ronnie it’s frightening.

Probably the same folk who think Harry Forrester is a player and want Ryan Hardie in before Morelos.

8.) 12 Jun 2018 08:59:04
I'm glad you don't run a business. If you did it would be t*ts up within minutes with your attitude. If we just go about releasing players from their contracts because yous don't rate them it would soon cost us millions. Loan deals for fringe or squad players generally have an option to buy, you know, what we done at the winter transfer window! Which benefits both parties. he's on loan so his wages will more than likely be paid by Blackpool, probably with an option to buy, so what's the problem? some people on here are genuinely brain dead.

22 Jan 2018 14:50:36
Sky sports Italia claiming we have accepted a bid from the Italian team who where interested in alves doesn't state what the bid is I assume it isn't a very big offer due to his age/ injury and that I think we are looking to offload some high earners

1.) 22 Jan 2018 16:48:58
It was reported in Scottish press on Saturday that Rangers had accepted the bid, so that's hardly news, and that it's down to Elves himself.

2.) 22 Jan 2018 18:03:32
Only posted because like a few guys on here have stated I wouldn't believe everything that Scottish papers write so when sky are reporting it then it is a little more credible

3.) 22 Jan 2018 18:17:41
Sky reported that Dembele was off to Brighton for 18 million

22 Jan 2018 10:04:42
Seen a couple of different pages claiming that sunderland are interested in the lad Bates with him only having 6 months left on his contract hopefully we can renew the lads deal as I think he has the makings of a good centre half

1.) 22 Jan 2018 10:13:56
Get him tied down, the days of letting good young prospects go should be long gone.

2.) 22 Jan 2018 12:22:46
It's 100% been his agent leaking a story to try and up Rangers offer, they're currently negotiating a new deal.

3.) 22 Jan 2018 12:27:34
Could be wrong but I thought the report said he had been offered a new deal but hadn’t signed it

4.) 22 Jan 2018 12:48:11
Let him go anyway not good enough

5.) 22 Jan 2018 13:34:56
Not good enough? He was excellent against Celtic his positional sense is brilliant for a young CB.
Get him tied down on a new deal maybe loan him to a spl club with option to bring back.

6.) 22 Jan 2018 13:45:22
Considering he's a supporter and getting first team action he will probably opt to stay if he is offered a new deal. Has he been offered one?

Sunderland are in a worse state than us at the minute, could be looking at league one next year if they don't sort it out.

7.) 22 Jan 2018 14:16:58
Bates is still young and raw. The Celtic game was proof that he can become a quality centre back. He has a lot of potential and we'd be stupid to let him go. Can't believe some people saying he's not good enough.

8.) 22 Jan 2018 15:37:58
Cmon fair play to the boy he's a trier but he shouldn't be part of our future unless its in the stands with us that's not negative its just my opinion

9.) 22 Jan 2018 16:09:20
Fergie 1981

I don't know how u can say that I really can't. He's a young up and coming CB he's looked good against experienced players. It's a hard position for youngsters to break thru and he's one of best I've seen for a while.

10.) 22 Jan 2018 16:36:41
Fergie 1981 I must say I agree with you.

11.) 22 Jan 2018 17:10:21
Are there any current Rangers players you do rate Rick? If not perhaps you should support Barcelona or some such team. Bates is 22 and has 2 motm performances away to our 2 biggest rivals. Morelos is 21 and is currently the top scorer in the league. Gi them a fecking chance! Your entitled to your opinion of course but to my mind supporters should support or at least offer constructive criticism.

Keep Believing!

12.) 22 Jan 2018 17:19:52
Bigmarv05 i'm giving an honest opinion on the boy no malice i would say he's a poor mans broadfoot my hearts in my mouth when the ball goes near him nothing personal to the boy n hope he has a good career but i reckon he's bottom end of spl level at best

13.) 22 Jan 2018 17:31:30
Fair enough Fergie. He's definitely not the finished article and shouldn't be a first pick. However he has the physical attributes for a young man in his position and his performance in the old firm alone for me suggests he could become a proper defender in time.

14.) 22 Jan 2018 23:00:13
Fergie1981, which suggest u were born the same year as me and only knew the good times as a lad same as me! . I long for those dominant days too but they're not here now, wee can't have a goughie, mcpherson, or even an Alan mclaren now! We have a big raw boy the could b moulded into a good big no nonsense centre half, give the lad a chance, your right he's not silky on the ball to say the least but he defends first and if that's his strength then let him play to it! He's definitely not a poor man's broadfoot by any stretch, he's better than kirk was at that age for sure

Anybody think that the lad menga from livingston would be worth a punt big strong lad bit of pace and he puts himself about and scores a few goals.

1.) 15 Dec 2018 08:30:01
I was thinking that watching the Livi game last night, beast of a lad and never stops working.

2.) 15 Dec 2018 09:26:50
I don’t think Menga is the answer by any stretch, just read his football history and mostly he played for B teams in Belgium and Portugal scoring very few, must have played for a dozen teams, scoring one goal here and there.
I’d imagine that Stevie G and his staff have already made contact with their targets, we’ll just have to be patient.

3.) 15 Dec 2018 11:14:23
Why is it someone scores a goal we should sign him, last week shankland, Stewart, this week Menga.
In the past, may, Naismith et al.
All these guys no better than what we have.

4.) 15 Dec 2018 11:57:43
It wasn't that he scored a goal, and indeed he is hardly a goal machine, it was his performance and work rate that prompted the question, a foil for Alfie.

5.) 15 Dec 2018 13:00:27
Bizzmy though we were trying to challenge them.

6.) 15 Dec 2018 14:39:54
Yes we are trying to challenge them and he was one of their best players against celtic his work rate and drive is excellent never gives in and is a burden for 90 mins which is something we don't have it's another option yeah he might not score a load of goals but he would help assist with a few and put himself about up front.

7.) 15 Dec 2018 16:10:00
So according to here, that's manga, shankland and hardie, might as well see Morelos.

09 Dec 2018 16:02:42
Deary me that was painful to watch I can't believe that we are that bad, that was absolutely woeful defence looked like they should be playing Sunday pub league. Tav has been as poor as I've seen him the last few weeks goldson was terrible what he was doing at the goal I'll never know that ball should have been in the stand worral well the less said the better f@%king mince midfield no fight or desire we have no imagination or creativity in the team at all we really need to get the finger out or we will be out of Europe and the league will be out of site by new year it hasn't been a good week but SG needs to get a grip of this team and get a reaction out of them, but I'm struggling to see it happening.

1.) 09 Dec 2018 16:12:09
Out of Europe would be a blessing in disguise. We don't have the squad to compete in Europe as well as trying to win the league.

2.) 09 Dec 2018 16:28:24
Sorry but they looked terrible out there today worrying thing I don't know if gerrardknows how to fix it chopping and changing defence doesn’t help Goldson really struggling it’s not looking good.

3.) 09 Dec 2018 16:35:32
I agree mikeger maybe being out of Europe might help the performances in the league I think chopping and changing the team regularly isn't helping either but there are a few players there that shouldn't be anywhere near a rangers jersey as they aren't upto the task.

4.) 09 Dec 2018 17:09:14
I guarantee Worrell is guaranteed a game on Thursday 😭.

5.) 09 Dec 2018 17:25:11
We need quality players all over the park, but unfortunately they cost a lot of money. Croatian players and Grezda have not shown enough, again McGregor and Halliday were our best players today. Steve G could drop almost anybody that played today, but has he got enough players left to choose from, we have big Problems!

6.) 09 Dec 2018 17:41:32
As everyone knows I am not a fan of Halliday however why was Jack not subbed instead of him? Jack offers nothing going forward at least Halliday can shoot.

7.) 09 Dec 2018 17:47:18
Unfortunately for us though yately I think you are right and I don't know how as he is a cart horse think king and Co are going to ha e to dig deep in January or I can see it being a repeat of the last few seasons.

8.) 10 Dec 2018 10:05:16
Another simply atrocious performance any good Team project the ball with their lives, but our, s just cannot wait to give the ball to the opposition and make it so easy to play against. When you pay 2 Million for a supposed Internationalist Grezda but who, s first touch is terrible and contributes absolutely nothing. Also half the Team incl Worral, Eraja, Kent, Middleton, Rossiter, not 1st Team players then add Goldson, Tavenier, Candias, Lafferty were very poor.

There's the reason we cannot beat a very poor Dundee Team down to 10 men. Again Andy Halliday was our best/ only player and the officials were terrible and cost a goal or the game. Our problems lie at Ibrox and although I love Steve G, reckon he needs to learn quickly. Ok Walter Smith had funds but he would never set up a Rangers Team so easy too play against!

08 Nov 2018 10:40:29
Rangers lose appeal against candieas second yellow card for sending off against st Mirren that is a disgrace how inept are the sfa bunch of useless c*@ts couldn't run a f*@king bath.

1.) 08 Nov 2018 11:00:31
Don't think we lost the appeal - -there isn't a process to make one under the circumstances, is the point we are now making!

2.) 08 Nov 2018 11:55:51
I thought you could only appeal straight reds?

3.) 08 Nov 2018 12:08:41
Well it's on ssn that we had failed with our appeal that the sfa had came to their decision yesterday but waited till today to announce the decision bit strange if you ask me.

4.) 08 Nov 2018 16:41:55
Like bar 72 said we didn't lone the appeal as such. The only way to appeal a yellow is simulation or mistaken identity, whigh it wasn't there's no appeal process for a referee howler. The appeal was basically lost on a technicality sfa surely knew it was a mistake, there was just no grounds under the rules to rescind it.

5.) 10 Nov 2018 16:01:52
The only yellow card I believe you can appeal is mistaken identity?
Since it was only Candeias and Ferdinand in the vicinity, Collum must have thought he ‘saw ‘ something to justify the card. Or he’s just inept like the majority of referees in Scotland 👍.

6.) 10 Nov 2018 16:09:03
Love Rangers statement re Collum.

01 Nov 2018 07:44:21
Another disappointing result last night I just can't get my head around how poor we have been in front of goal, after the early goal I thought what a start we are going to go on and win comfortably thinking the players where going to atone for the sheep game but it's another side wards step instead of moving forward I know Gerrard needs time and I'll support him every step of the way but I think some of the players need dropped as some aren't performing like we need them too. For me tav isn't captain material I don't think he has that drive to push his team mates on to up their game and to battle their way to win.

1.) 01 Nov 2018 10:37:23
I agree but the Tav bashing is getting a bit much there are plenty of players not performing, how many assists or goals have Kent, Candeias, Ejaria, Arfield, Coulibaly, Jack got between them. How often have Tav AND Flanagan been done down the side Flanagan is just as bad if not worse as he offers nothing going forward and always gets caught out for pace, Worral certainly doesn't convince me at all, if Forrest were offered 9 mill for him they should have taken it. The fact is we are not good enough and we all have to accept that 3rd or 4th realisticly is where we are going to finish, unless some January signings happen to come in and transform us but I don't see it.

2.) 01 Nov 2018 11:49:13
@Jordy, agree with a lot of that but let's not forget that Flanagan is a RIGHT back and is being played out of position constantly.

3.) 01 Nov 2018 17:03:08
Slim Jim I take the point that he is on the left and is right footed fair enough but playing on the right won't give him more pace. I suppose I am just saying that there are plenty of underperformers and Tav has at least made some goals and scored goals, albeit penalties. Some players havnt really contributed in creating or scoring, it is what it is I guess, we need more quality.

4.) 02 Nov 2018 08:14:05
Again, in defence of Tav, his defending was excellent last night.

Often goes unmentioned, but his defending in general has improved. With his understanding with candieas, the right side is far more effective than the left, moving forward and back.

Whilst very few got pass marks, Tav and halliday were amongst them.

These 2 players are often the whipping boys, whereas a coulibally or arfield, who have gone off form, get it easy.

5.) 02 Nov 2018 12:28:28
I don't mind tav as a player his defensive side of his game has improved but still needs a bit of work I just don't think he is captain material.

22 Jan 2018 12:49:13
With the new lads that have come in so far what formation and line up would my fellow bears want to see against the sheep on Wednesday not sure if we will go 4-4-2 or a 4-2-3-1 but think the squad will be along the lines of
Hoping to see Cummings get a run out see what the lad has to offer also

1.) 22 Jan 2018 15:11:19
As TJBB posted yesterday, that will likely be the team given the injuries. Cummings will no doubt come off the bench for either Morelos or a midfielder depending on score line.

We are supposedly looking at Jurgen Klinsmanns son who is a goalkeeper I don't know anything about the lad to be fair.

Read this earlier on sky sports newspaper talks segment don't know if there is much in it though, has he not kinda stagnated he was supposed to be the next big thing a few years back but I don't really know much about the lad.

We can't go into games hoping the referee is going to get every decision spot on to help us win a game we should be putting games to bed so we don't need to worry about referees performances and again against any team in our league that are down to 10 men we should be looking at winning we can't seem to break teams down that sit in and defend.

10 Dec 2018 16:25:40
The problem is it didn't stand and the fact we can't beat one of the worst teams in our league while they are down to 10 men is nothing but horrendous I want Steven Gerrard to succeed at rangers and I'm not one of the ones calling for his head but you just can't defend those sorts of results.

In my opinion don't get why we signed the lad gredza we haven't seen much of him since he arrived but what I have seen I haven't been impressed at all, I don't get why we spent close to 2 million quid on a guy who had been out for a month before we signed him with injury at what point did we actually scout him? I think the money spent could have been used on other areas of the pitch, but hopefully he proves me wrong.

Was at the game today and we played like it was a friendly we had some good passages of play at times then looked like we had switched off totally at times their players came for a game and we looked in parts like it was just a kick about in training there where some players who looked rusty our final ball in the first half was terrible but it improved slightly in the second half thought Davis and defoe would have got 60-70 mins to get some game time under their belts but full team change at half time thought mccrorrie played well when he came on.

Just grezda? That is woeful, defence didn't have a clue today no fight, far too soft no imagination or creativity in the team at all, wrong subs made also IMO, its starting to get embarrassing watching some of these so called football players putting In little to no effort half of them don't have what it takes to wear a rangers jersey.
