I'm told by a pal who has a link to Robbie Keane that SG is a cert and is bringing Mcallister and someone called Tom Culshaw. He's a big sellik fan, so could be a wynd up.

I don't understand the Gerrard bashing. If there's one thing his team will compete and be more physical

4.) 28 Apr 2018 05:39:44
The only Gerrard bashing is coming from the Tim’s Fraz!
Listened to a bit of SCB on way to work last night and they are seething of the thought of him coming to the Teddies?

5.) 28 Apr 2018 11:22:21
Well morning my fellow bears can a confirm that bookies have priced us up to have no chance tomorrow sitting at 7/ 1 fingers are crossed but this is the time player need to stand up and be counted and leather these c@&£.

6.) 28 Apr 2018 16:48:41
I was sceptical about Gerard for us but I am convinced now that he could do a good job. He is all about hard work and fitness, we need this badly. Players can't run for 90 minutes that Scottish football needs. The fact that that nugget Sutton et al are saying its a bad move, further convinces me its a good move. I only wish that someone like Souness would help out, or Walter or even Ally, just to give him more knowledge of Scottish football. Possibly exciting times ahead teddy bears.

Finishing off work at a Rangers player house this week, won't name him as I don't want my collar felt. Heard him on his phone correcting someone about the spelling of a player that "might be coming in January". Harry Winks
Never heard of him but according to the conversation he is or was an England youth?

bimotablue

1.) 19 Nov 2016 18:35:45
he is in spurs first team against west ham tonight better trade your tools for a hearing aid.

2.) 20 Nov 2016 02:08:40
why would anyone need help spelling that name?

3.) 20 Nov 2016 03:26:56
Ivlark, some people get their vowels mixed up sometimes.

4.) 20 Nov 2016 21:18:17
The day we start getting excited about loan signings is the day we should call it a day. Watburton had pretty much disregarded the youth set up at Rangers and loaned out some of our best prospects. We need to let our youth flourish and show some faith in them. This english loan deal set up is not what we need to get back to the top.

5.) 21 Nov 2016 09:21:25
bryan there is a lot of negative talk about what we are doing with the youth squads but no one is giving the system time to work.
there has been an overhaul with our youth system and it will take time to get the results but that's not what is important to us first team supportsers .
whats important for the first team is that when the youth does start to play well in that system that the better players are given their chance and others loaned out for some much needed experience . will take a few years I think for this to take full effect.

6.) 21 Nov 2016 22:06:17
Would that be the same harry winks who played and scored for spurs against west ham?

7.) 21 Nov 2016 22:22:52
Maybe he said harry winks at all the women.

MW apparently looking at making an offer for Liam Cooper in January (Leeds United I think. ) Source was Raymond Sparkes. Occasional client of ours who always seems to remember I'm a Rangers man when it suits! Nice fella actually.
No gen on the boy at all, or even value but his contract finishes in 2017 apparently.

Will take pelters for this.
I for one am intrigued to see if SG can make a Rangers player out of Pena, should he come back to Ibrox
. form a queue.

bimotablue

1.) 14 Nov 2018 13:03:39
give him one last chance but it will take about 2 months to get him up to speed. if he goes awol then dump him. 20k a week Is a lot of cash to squander-if Gerard can do it with halliday then pena can also be done.

2.) 14 Nov 2018 13:08:30
I actually agree, we have seen what kind of player Pena was, representing Mexico must mean he has something, if his troubles can be dealt with then who knows but he could become a quality player.

3.) 14 Nov 2018 13:20:47
No reason to get pelters it's a valid question but unfortunately you will! just can't see it happening too much baggage but if we can't unload him or won't pay him off we might have no options I can't see him being any worse than Sadiq!

4.) 14 Nov 2018 18:44:01
Rarely seen a player make so little effort or show so little ability but score some cracking goals as Pena. There is a however-don't think we should pay him off before Stevie and his team have a go at trying to instill a
proper footballing ethos into the guy. Train hard, work hard for the team and maybe we will have a decent player- if not get shut however we can even if it costs us!

5.) 14 Nov 2018 19:15:33
He wasnt good enough for the loan teams, he wiped his nose on the club shorts, for me that was the last straw. Get rid!

6.) 14 Nov 2018 21:37:22
I’d be over the moon if Gerrard could get a turn out of Pena as it wouldn’t be a wasted wage every month.
BUT I don’t think it is all down to Gerrard, it will be down too how much effort Pena is prepared to put in to force himself into his plans. He has the skill but has major doubts over his fitness levels, especially the way Gerrard sets up his team and the Scottish game in general.

7.) 15 Nov 2018 02:08:59
Blew kisses in threatening fashion! Give me a break!

8.) 15 Nov 2018 17:53:29
Keep up mate 😂😂😂 He even said it was a joke!

9.) 15 Nov 2018 18:24:51
Sometimes sarcasm simply doesn't work.

Only decent bit of viewing in our semi final was the SG interview! We could still be playing yet, and still not scored. Thought the controlled anger and brutally honest answers SG gave were spot on, if our forwards had hit the target like that we would have hummed them! Still think we desperately lack a killer pass, goal scoring midfielder and unless SG knows of a younger version of Steve Davis, he should just go get. Steve Davis.

Hmmmmmmmm.
Not a fan of SG's tactics today
However the obvious improvement in team this season would suggest he'll learn from it.

Lot of negativity here already.! I'm also gutted at losing the points, but jeezo, Aberdeen away, 10 men for 90 mins and a late late goal to steal a point. Heads never went down, clearly well drilled and up for the cause. We get that sort of commitment the whole season we won't be far off.

1.) 05 Aug 2018 16:19:12
Too much negativity on here, they stole a point in the end, 💙⚽️❤️.

2.) 05 Aug 2018 17:01:03
They celebrated that like a World Cup win! They are poor and I’d have bought a point 15mins into game.

3.) 05 Aug 2018 17:11:59
Aberdeen knew they didn't deserve anything, the way they celebrated getting a draw at home against ten men was unbelievable. Solid performance, ejaria is a worry for me, doesn't look sharp enough to me for the SPL, and windass is not a team player, especially in the second half, goes missing and makes dreadful decisions when he's in possession. Hope Jack is ok, he put in a shift again today. If El Buff is suspended then it will have to be sadiq, fit or not, or will Laff be back this week?

08 May 2018 21:03:10
6 million aye?
Need that to sort out central defence!
If DK seriously thinks we will be challenging next season I hope he knows something we don't.

"he is already in the process of contacting the South African revenue to let them know that he would like to move some undeclared income out of the country"

"undeclared income" Good luck with that!

If that's true, then we are well and truly screwed financially! Never mind that his skill set has NO chance of advancing the team, but if after all this time we end up with a fella who has been begging for the job for as long as I can remember, it means we don't have a pot to piss in.

I don't think a professional manager would be too fussed about not being first choice. If he fancies the job he would be more than happy to take it. I would love the big ticket name of Gerrard as it would give us all the boost we need, but if it's not to be him, and there IS money for a new man to rebuild our squad, then it's still all good. Let's put it this way, with respect, if it were Stevie Clark or Alec Mcliesh etc etc we were chasing, it would be a safe bet to assume our player budget "war chest" would be £5 mill or so AFTER selling half the squad! Chasing Gerrard to me, means there is decent cash to spend this Summer

It's no excuse, but part of the problem is the "old firm" factor. Everyone raises their game against us. Celtic cope better because they have the budget to buy better players. They are also well managed to be fair. I would argue that although our squad cost two or three time our competitors for 2nd spot, it is nowhere near two or three times better. Throw in the managerial merry go round and it's easy to see we will regularly drop points to Killie Hibs Hearts and if we don't shape up, Aberdeen

Harsh.
Although it's these types of point losses that will indeed see GM back with the youths

Regardless of their abilities, why would anyone query the principal of buy cheap sell high with Windass and Docherty and Jones.?
Next time I'm selling a bike I hope one of you fellas who are upset our initial bids are too low turn up, you're bound to offer me the full amount incase you "unsettle" me.
