For those of you that think the loan players mentioned are any good, then you are deluded the only young promising players we have are regular starters (Aird and McLeod)

Stu2312

1.) 03 Sep 2014 23:37:07
Aird are you serious

2.) Stu2312 what your thoughts on tomorrows headline [daily rebel] mike ashley has naming right for ibrox for one yes one pound a deal charlieboy gave him then charlieboy tried to rip contract up to no avail I think if this story is true it will be the one that breaks the donkeys back that's if daily rebel is to be believed or is it scaremongering can we wait to find out it seams we have no option

3.) 04 Sep 2014 09:10:22
Apparently a rival newspaper is carrying the same story . unbelievable a pound and then wastes 250,000 trying to get the contract ripped up .furthermore easdale is saying if share issue doesn't raise enough then Murray park may have to be used against future funding .

Naming rights for a £1, Stockbridge shares, I wonder what's the next bad news because one thing's for sure - there's no good news on the horizon, certainly no Dave King or Blue Knights arriving to save the day.

My prediction is an admin that doesn't get rid of the onerous contracts but makes promotion for the SPL almost impossible.

5.) @4

If the club went into admin it would then be all about survival in the championship. Get rid of Ally and his 2 cronies and players like Shiels, Black, Daure, Foster, Smith, Simonsen, Robinson and Peralta. Bad though for the fans who bought the shares and have seen their money disappear very quickly

6.) I only hope if its addmin then we go down the route we should have used first time start again youngsters take our time cause let's face it scottish football won't leave us behind as its going nowhere fast

7.) N5 stewie admin is the only way to get rid of these winkers that are robing us so imo if it must be done so be it n3 rf you sound as if you are starting to tipple on this big scam

Sebastian Faure is our best right back Who is also an accomplished central defender so has to okay. Moshni is our best central back who has to defend and let the play makers do the rest. problem is we lack a play maker. Lewis McLeod May very well be that in time but now his time is as a wide player. remember Durrant playing there. Aird is our most effective attacker who brings others in to play and must start. Wallace must be made captain as mcculloch hangs up his boots

Stu2312

1.) 17 Aug 2014 08:22:25
First positive post for a while - yes why is Faure not being used more at right back may get an outing Tuesday might in cup?

As for Black, Shields & Templeton these three joined us in the "depths" when everyone else was leaving us - show a bit of loyalty now there is room for them in the squad.

2.) I like faure as far as mosni goes u must be on something

3.) Totally disagree with your points on faure and moshi neither of them are the best or accomplished as you put it. We haven't played the same two central defenders for two games in a row. I forecast on Friday that he would bring back mosh I and play jig in midfield and mcgregor at RB which made us totally immobile but we can all see that but it seems that jig, black or law cannot be dropped unless injured

4.) I will put your assessment of faure and moshni down to the two bottles of Buckie you had last night. I've read it all now.

5.) 17 Aug 2014 10:30:18
Faure, best right bk? Accomplished? Moshni, best? Bombscare I think u ment? Mcloed is wasted out wide. U still up on the bevvy from last night stu??

6.) @4

Totally agree mate both are awful and should be nowhere near the team. How anyone can say there good is beyond me

7.) 17 Aug 2014 11:51:18
Gentlemen Gentlemen ---- "control your exuberance" (as the late Frankie Howard would say) -- we have NO accomplished players and the younger members who aspire to these heights will be stifled very soon by the Ibrox scoring legend who is now in his third season of "non football for Ibrox".
We as fans have demonstrated in our own chosen way what we think of the football we play. what we think of the way our club is being run, we have had demonstrations that have been to no avail ---- so what is next gentlemen???
For me and I am only a wee fella with Glasgow Rangers coursing through my veins --- for me I made my decision on what is best for me ---- Mr McCoist you have driven me away from my CLUB -- I will never set a foot inside Ibrox until you and your cohorts have left the building.
This is a sad day but I can not and will not support this man any longer.

8.) Kerrymac, you are not alone, this nonsense that it doesn't matter how we play as long as we get back to the SPL makes me sick, in short roll up for three years pay yer money put up with the dross on the park and shut up. Oh an by the way I will patronise you every few weeks and tell you how magnificent you are for putting up with the sh@t on view. My club is a shambles.

9.) @7, good post Kerrymac. I have supported the club for 46 years and I also refuse to support ally and will not be setting foot inside Ibrox until changes have been made. This is easily the worst football I have witnessed in these years. Ally is not a manager but the rate he is emptying Ibrox he may well get a job as a steward.

{Ed039's Note - I have to agree BV, it is awful, I have been McCoist's biggest critic for a number of years now, time for a change has come and gone and it is too late to get rid now. We will do well to get out of the Championship this year, and its not down to the players, its down to the man selecting the team and confirming the transfers)

10.) I have consistently said I won't go back as long as he is manager I renewed my grandsons tickets but not my own I can only decribe politely as greedy and full of himself and a hopless manager

11.) Got to agree with the above comments. i'm not daft enough to think we will ever see players like gazza and laudrup ever wear the blue jersey again. but I do think I'm entitled to see players from our youth academy promoted to the first team in droves. hearts have done it. why haven't we. that is the glaring observation I have made. we have the best youth academy in Scotland and have produced only a handful of players over the last 14years that have been sold for good money. I just cannot watch this any more until ally and his mercineries are removed. I am really sick of repeating myself and reading the same posts over and over again.

12.) Agree with all posts RE Ally, can't we sack him for negligence? the world & their dug can see we need a right back but the Super One refuses or is unable to see it. The crowd at the Clyde game will become the norm under his stewardship @10K he really is costing the club money. I'm actually going tonight but just because I'm from Ru'glen and I actually know a couple of Clyde supporters. Not expecting scintillating soccer from Rangers under this manager and it's a cup-tie so anything can happen. How bad is it when Clyde fans can slag me!

13.) Agree with all above posts and youngwinston them pals of yours won't be slagging you after tonights game eh lol

14.) Tmwtn, no slagging from the lads, they could'nt believe Barry played such an open game, to be honest I think I was more shocked by the score than they were.

A Mcc has tactical deficiencies as his statement about scouting system would back up. He has done what has been asked of him and remember contract agreements are not done by him. Back the team, back the manager, and get us back to the top. If the principle backed by true rangers (Sandy Jardine and Walter Smith) was good enough for them it is surely good enough for us

Stu2312

1.) Thing is stu, McCoist picks the team and chooses transfer targets, who Imo have hopeless, over priced and far too old, he has no tactical awareness whatsoever.

2.) I agree with all your points wee cubby unfortunately Mccoist is going nowhere, he has stated that this is the first time in his tenure he's been able to focus purely on the footballing side of Rangers affairs, and he actually feels like a manager, well Ally you have no excuses now prove yourself and prove me wrong take us back to the top playing good football if not maybe time to walk away

3.) This isn't a banter page it's a slag everything about rangers page. This comment is one of the only ones that's not been negative. This is where we are through no fault of the support or manager. The tests have still to come and as the team and hopefully we pass them that's to be seen if we can then we can see where we are at. Of course mistakes been made but if everything was right and no improvement can be made then it's job done and that will never be the case. The managers seen us through the worst times as a club all in his first season and beyond. Give the guy a break

4.) @3 you could maybe start your own site with super Ally comments only. The majority of us are probably still suffering from shock or after shock of what's happened to the club. Some agree with you that we should ignore the quality of football that we pay to watch and just be glad we are still in existence. That is a point of view that some of us don't share. It's called democracy and differing opinions. And I agree I wish there was more banter because laughter can help when you are in pain and suffering. We need more of Naz's post congratulating Samaras on winning the Eurovision contest- a classic moment on here.
But censorship to positive posts only would probably give the ED problems.
Also not sure I picked up the banter in your post?

5.) @3. I have to agree with Nbear. this is a forum about rangers. if you are happy with where we are and what we are producing then fire in. I on the other hand am not. I have seen some bad rangers teams in the past but the dross I've watched the last two years surpasses them. I don't go for the "at least we are here"excuse. point is we are. we have spent over 70 million I two years albeit no on the playing side but we have spent. so if your not happy with what you are reading then don't log on. remember you are the minority with your views. the overwhelming majority agree that we have a poor manager, poor team, poor performances and poor business sense. sorry but that's mine and the dugs view!

{Ed039's Note - £70m in 2 years?)

6.) Ed mistype should have been 30 million. I thought the article said 33 million a year when it said two years.

{Ed039's Note - No worries mate, I know its all relevant but the figures were hugely different)

7.) ED 039 that is the figure I remember from the accounts which includes the £22-£23million raised in the IPO circa £4 million of which went to the costs of the IPO (which is code for into some manky financier's account)
But it doesn't include the £1.5million loans to see us through to the end of last season. So yes Bigcol is correct and isn't exaggerating -must be the dug's post

{Ed039's Note - Nbear - £70m is definately wrong)

8.) Fair enuf lads. My point possibly not well put was not that I think everything is rosy at all and I agree with some points given however the circumstances are some we have never known and hopefully never know again and felt he possibly deserves a bit of slack if he totally fails then he will deserve to go. In my personal opinion I would give him his chances to do wot the plan was. If I was being negative about the situation I'd say I possibly reckon he needs a new coach to freshen things up

9.) 26 Jul 2014 19:53:20
Ed all reasonable men would agree with you than spending £70million in 2 years for a football club in our position is ludicrous and impossible but remember these numbers
Turnover 1 year £19million (x 2 for 2 years= £38million)
Loss year 1 £14million (that is spent more than you earned)
IPO spent after costs £17.5 million

Now if you total these up it should come to £69.5million add to that £400k as I think the loss was actually £14.4 million in the first year you have the unbelievable shambles of £70million spent in 2 years plus the loans of £1.5 million

10.) Ed039. yes I read the article again and the spend was 33 million since 2012. that includes iPo, wages etc. I am taking this as read. who flipping knows. oh aye a forgot the crunchier fur the dug!lol

11.) 30 million or 70 million, doesn't really matter as far as I'm concerned. For the last two seasons we have been playing teams with budgets in the thousands, not the millions and most of them have given us a run for our money up till the last 20 minutes of the game when fitness became an issue. I'm fairly sure that given that scenario, most of the guys on here could have been the manager and won promotion the last two seasons. And by the way, "ally feels like a manager now", well when I'm sitting playing my guitar I feel like Eric Clapton but it doesn't mean I am!

12.) 26 Jul 2014 21:23:30
Bigcol if it was £30million spent we would be in good shape £8million in bank plus all of the IPO money left so we would have £25million plus in bank. That should be the case but isn't get the dug back on here- at least we listen to him

13.) Gc. In simple language----- A. Mc. C is a plonker. Forget about losses and look at his plunder.

14.) 27 Jul 2014 02:48:04
"Rangers in crisis- fans fury as Ibrox chief executive Graham Wallace admits club have blown a staggering £67million in 18months to beat shoestring opponents" Daily Record 26th April 2014

"Police probe launched after Rangers Chief Executive Graham Wallace is accused of misleading shareholders over the clubs finances" 27th April Glasgow Herald

"Missing £70million- blame laid on Charles Green and Mather"- 26th April Glasgow Herald

Do your selves a favour google rangers spend £70 million in two years and all your sources come up- most around about the time of the announcement that the club were getting secured loans from Laxey and Easdale of £1.5million to see out the season.

Or who cares it's only another £40million!

15.) Nbear your right again pal especialy at p14 but some people are really gulible eh

16.) N11 blue bear I don't think many of us are feeling wonderful tonight boomboom lol

17.) 28 Jul 2014 16:06:56
tmwnn I think blue velvet was probably thinking of "while my guitar gently weeps"

Depends on the age but do you remember Badge, Crossroads, Sunshine of your Love etc?

richt am off this holiday is way overdue.

18.) Nbear of course I remember crossroads with meg and sandy richardson benny the ball oh that was topcat big benny he was a bit slow but I don't know the others you mention maybe cause there were nine of us fighting over what to watch lol there was only three channels and remote controls were a thing of the future lol

If the issue of the naming rights are true, I'd reckon that clauses such as should the stadium be renamed then further revenue would be awarded. I can only imagine that the right to rename the stadium is a decision that can only be made by Ashley but would be subject go further price negotiation.

I reckon Black did ok, should be told to play his holding and breaking up play role and forget the World Cup passes. McCulloch sadly passed it certainly no Davie Weir, big guy stayed loyal so maybe can understand sentiment. Boyd and Miller starved of service have to say worked extremely hard, the real failure was the 3 at the back with Wallace and Foster getting forward did not work nobody had definitive roles and this caused the team to struggle. Zaluskis in that form well let's just say I will be glad to see the bomb scare back. The real worry though is Ally did not see it when it was clear to anybody watching in the stands the shape was wrong. I'm an Ally supporter but has to get the team to click or can see him walking.
