Have it from a source that Pedro is going. was told his gripe is with Miller and Miller going to the paper's. dorrans jumped to Miller's defence much akin to Le Guen Ferguson and Boyd. shame really. Looking likely even if he gets a result tonight.

Said this two days ago and basically got told to shut up by 75% on here. Bang on.

2.) 29 Sep 2017 11:29:40
I personally always believed we should give Ped time but if he can't unite the dressing room it's time for him to go big Eck or uncle Watty to settle the ship till at least the end of the season

Player's not liking the manager is one thing not performing to your best ability is another hope none of the players are guilty of this.

I read a lot on here regarding Miller. some of it a little unfair in my opinion. He constantly works his socks off and him and morelos are forging an understanding. They work quite well and the young Colombian lad is benefiting from Kennys work rate.

Nobody's questioning his commitment but some are facing up to the reality that he's approaching 38 years of age and not cut out for playing wide or dropping into the midfield. Granted he's good in the box but it ends there. He's slowed down a lot and his forward passing doesn't get pass marks. There's too much sentimentality surrounding Miller and you say some of the remarks here are a little unfair. He never gets criticism, far from it, he gets away with a lot when others get hammered for mistakes.

2.) 15 Sep 2017 13:57:37
miller should imo be used at the end of games if we need him like say about 20 mins 15 mins to go as i think he would study while he is off and make the most of his time on the pitch

3.) 15 Sep 2017 15:14:51
Think he's important while other guys still find their feet at the club, his pitch time will decrease as season progresses! Still think he is vital going into old firm match to help the new guys that haven't played in the fixture before

4.) 15 Sep 2017 18:50:03
Kfraser I understand your points, wouldn't you say that because he hasn't been as prolific as last season his mistakes in games are being highlighted more? I feel, in particular, his clever runs and his commitment make him an absolute must for the Celtic game. His experience will be vital in that one. He thrives in these occasions and I feel like I previously mentioned Morelos will and is benefiting hugely with Kenny in there.

Just read Sutton's comments. I'll stop short at praising the man but fair play to what he is saying. Pedro is his own man and deserves immense credit for coming to another country; buying into the club's tradition, standing by his own beliefs, dealing with the negativity certain factions of our fans being all the while doing this in a language that isn't his mother tongue. I have the upmost respect for the man.

Good post and well said. I'd like to hit the agree button 10 times for that one.

Afternoon fellow bears. I'm hoping the weekend's game will give us a kick up the backside to push in now. Anyone else worried about the fact we start like steam trains and then run out of gas pretty quickly? Or the fact Pedro didn't put on Rossiter for Miller when Jack was dismissed. Would have been a much better substitution. Would love to see a reaction against Hearts.

i said exactly the same to my mate about us looking world beaters for the first twenty minutes against motherwell and hibs then the performance falling off. felt it was happening before the red card and something we need to watch out for.

2.) 15 Aug 2017 17:42:16
Excellent point about the substitution that should have happened and that highlights a worry about Pedro. If he's invested in Miller at any cost we've got problems.

3.) 15 Aug 2017 18:47:42
Good points guys, and certainly with hindsight getting Rossiter on and sacrificing an attacker immediately when Jack was dismissed would have been good call.

More importantly I am encouraged by the comments coming from Pedro today about the team being stronger and reacting positively to Saturday's result. Looking forward to Hearts game.

4.) 15 Aug 2017 22:14:20
To the inevitable disagrees, you lose a man, you shore up your defensive line which includes midfield. Last I checked we lost 3-2. Maybe you think we won.

5.) 16 Aug 2017 04:59:04
Maybe there is some politics at the club around miller or its his never say die attitude that keeps him on the pitch I dunno. A midfielder for miller was everyone elses choice i'd think.

6.) 16 Aug 2017 14:28:13
herrera for me is not a starter the guys record speaks for itself he is a travelling donkey who can't finish and as for what I've saw of him when he played he was worse than a man down so i wouldn't be picking him before miller that's for sure.
morelos 3 goals in two is a good return but he need to controll his temper a wee bit

7.) 17 Aug 2017 07:50:22
Personally, the change I would have made on Saturday and I said this at the time, would have been to remove both fullbacks, add Wilson and Rossiter and go 3-4-2. Candies does a decent job tracking back and Windass is getting better so I think that was the strongest change.

Keith Jackson is a poor excuse of a journalist. I wouldn't be surprised if he is trying to protect his mole. of course he would. But his anti rangers agenda is almost palpable at times. Last piece I read from him was when he likened our club to North Korea all because we introduced our own cameras for press conferences. failing to note all major clubs do this. United Barcelona Madrid Liverpool and it's designed so our management and staff can analyze our perfomrnaces in front of camera. Mr Jackson didn't like it because now we as fans can have direct access to these and he can't twist or write entirely what he likes. do not trust anything he writes I wouldn't even read him any more. His vitrol doesn't deserve oxygen.

Fod why do you read the daily record (especially Kieth Jackson) and feel everything is the truth that he has written? So you are trying to get me to believe great legendary managers like Alex Ferguson. Bill Struth. Jock Stein. Walter Smith have never went in and gave the proverbial "hair dryer treatment" after a loss? especially a meekly performance like that on Saturday at our against our most bitter rivals? Can't you see that maybe the manager is hurting too? Or because you have decided that you don't warm to the guy that it's him being a "Looney ". I'll point out a couple of things to you Fod. Far from being a "looney" Pedro speaks fluently several languages, has worked extensively outside his comfort zone of his homeland. worked in cultures far removed from his own whilst doing so in a different language. Only in Scotland would you be called a "looney" and not lauded for such a thing. I speak two languages English and Italian having worked in Italy for three years and trust me the pressures of getting your job done whilst trying to conduct it in a completely different tongue is intense. And I never done it to 50,000 people every week. Honestly Fod of you have any crumb of love for our club then you'd swerve the rags like daily record

Far too sensible a post Delboy. I read a lot of comment on here and come aware drunk from a mixture of bewilderment and negativity. He's had one window to gel his side. I read on here somewhere that a certain poster would be happy now that Pedro was losing big games and his "points would be proven" I sincerely hope that's not the case. However I will stick my neck out here and say. I don't think the lad Pena has it. I don't think he seems interested enough. He's had a sustained period of time to get match fit and integrate and I don't think it appears he has done so. However his goal against the jags was received very warmly from his team mates which bodes well. Just don't think the boy wants it. Would do my utmost to secure Moult in January as he would g the perfect foil for the Columbian lad. Onwards and upwards.
