If rumours about Kent rejecting a new deal I'd now ask did we get value for 7m. 55 and the league Cup a Europe league final and back into CL. I'd say yes and if we're only offered a couple million in Jan I'd keep him until the summer and let him go for free assuming we're within touching distance in league and Kent contributing to the team.

Of course we got value for money. EL Final, Title 55, Scottish cup and CL group stages for £6.5mil. Bargain. That £6.5 mil investment made what £40mil in EL and £30 in CL. Explain how we never got value for money Mark? If we never had Kent in the team we would never have made EL final.

He’s anything but just now but an assist and a goal on Saturday may help him kick on and produce the type of performance we know he is capable of on a more consistent basis.

Just looking at his transfer fee, then we probably did get value for money but things are never quite as simple as that.

I’m sure another poster mentioned in the past he got paid more last season than any player in rangers history, I think it was over £3M including bonuses. If that’s the case then I don’t think we got value for money.
