hearing that Paul Mitchell also likely to join as DoF. If we can secure both Clement and Mitchell that for me would be an amazing achievement by Bennett and Bisgrove however I don't want to get my hopes up yet until I see it in black and white.
If Souness has been involved and we are successful in securing these two guys then he should eb on the Board!

Paul Leguen never got a fair shot as usual we sided with ex players. Ferguson should have been told he was not the manger but a player. He playes for LeGuen. It was terrible what the players did and if your honest you would agree. If given time i bet you Leguen would have been good for us. We can't rely on old school or ex players who played for us. We need the rutheless streak someone not afraid to drop players who underperform or don't play to their abilities due to sulking. Players should remember its an Honour to play for Glasgow Rangers and they should give all and the fans will love them and support them.

Still hearing muscat is the preferred choice.

Wullie - 100% correct bud - and feel that there are still a few cliques in Ibrox at present that ANY new manager must quell before we can have a cohesive unit- some players are obviously bigger than their boots and sometimes changing of the old guard works! so I feel/ hope we have some interesting times ahead -Certainly a few of our older managers would not have stood for the tiaras and tantrums and lack of effort we have seen of late.

Hendo1872,chris jack from the rangers review has stated not long ago that talks are ongoing and nobody has been offered the job or chosen as the preferred candidate ? Very interesting indeed ?.

Always remeber fergie story away at inverness. Le guen came in changing room after a draw happy with the result sayi g job well done etc. that's when fergie flipped his lid. No tackling in training etc.

I don`t know why we are discussing Le Guen but if we hadn`t got rid of him we would have lost Ferguson had Gavin Rae as captain and missed out on the following three years of success under Walter, titles that were won to gain the finances from Europe that kept the club afloat for the last three years of Murrays ownership. We had signed Letizi, Svensson ( a centre half who shut his eyes when he headed the ball), Sionko, Sebo, Clement and a few others. He made Beale look like a recruitment genius. His only signing that made it was Sasa Papac and that was only after Walter moved him to left back. Le Guen didn`t get Rangers and didn`t understand Scottish football.

If the cliques are still there it's down to Gerrard and beale first time around.

No tackling in training……probably ahead of his time when you look at our injury record in recent seasons ?.

Barry Ferguson and Kris Boyd should never have played again for Rangers after that episode with Le Guen. He lost the dressing room on day 1 when he took chips off the menu ?.

ferguson is a scottish rangers legend, so it must have been his fault. and not a useless frenchay who didn't understand our club.

Agreed Tom.
Leguen was a one hit wonder at Lyon helped by their sporting director at the time and if memeort serves correct he inherited a team on the up and a structure already in place from previous manager but with same sporting director.
If I remember correctly.
Maybe someone else can remember this?

He thought there was no need for a captain for god sake.
He wanted to rotate the captaincy among numerous players.

His disrespect of certain players in the dressing room from the off was shocking and if he wanted to act like that he should have been smart enough to know he’d need to move those players on before trying to behave in the manner he did.

It’s the same in any walk of life. U must show respect to people in order to gain respect as a newcomer to a group.
Don’t match in awe Billy big baws n expect people to bow down at your knees. Certainly not in Glasgow anyway it just doesn’t happen.
