It’s just getting silly with the Beale thing.
Not all of the late great Walter Smiths signings worked out.
Beale’s never had a bad word to say about us and it’s his players in the main that have won a trophy and in the position we are now in the other 3 comps.

I don't think it was necessarily the players that Beale signed, but the combination of players.
Our squad ended up being really bloated and unbalanced.
To this day, I'm not quite sure what he was trying to do.

I’m balsa think it’s shocking the way Beale is spoken about on this site m, I don’t use other sites but dare say it’s the same.
He’s a part of our history, 55, he failed as a manager and we move on but he doesn’t deserve the hatred directed at him from what seems a majority of supporters.
Guy loves rangers and the fans and it’s not a good image to show how we tear ex employees no matter how things went.

Beales biggest problem and i said at the time, trying to bring in so many players and have them gell quickly was always going to be difficult. along with injuries etc it was definitely a challenge. i wasnt really keen in Beale coming back but i give everyone who comes to rangers the benefit of the doubt. in a way i feel sorry for him, many a good manager would have struggled with so many changes at one time.

Some have done well but we payed a lot for 3/ 4 of they players a few if we buy sima say £8million add dessers 4.5 lammers 3.5 Danilo 6 million that’s 22million on they 4 players alone add in the other players smaller fees and sign on fees and I reckon we will be close to 35million Beale was bad for this club and the worst thing is I was one of the people who wanted him and bought his snake oil ?.

Gofor - what a difference in our threat from corners now.
With an inswinger with pace, it can take a deflection or cause chaos and create a chance from a second ball.
We were toothless with outswingers as our big guys aren't powerful and dominating.

It wasn’t the players he signed but arguably lammers and cifu don’t cut it which is fair, jury is out on raskin to yet to see him really influence a game, but clement gets so much more out the signings and can clearly see a much better organisation of the team and spirit within, Beale was out his depth too big a club for him at this stage in his career.

It’s not his record of signings people are moaning about it’s how badly they looked under him which says a lot about his management of an incoming manager can get more out of you than guy that brought them to club and that’s not just one player it’s several.

I would say it's more of a reflection of just how good Clement is. Until he came only one or 2 were being given pass marks on here and now everyone is backtracking rewriting their history saying they liked Beales signings. What he's done in taking a bunch of poor signings we vastly overpaid for and turned them into a good squad is remarkable. Imagine what he'll do when he signs his own players in the summer.
