My biggest worry would be an injury to Davis before the cup game. We should leave him out next week. Yesterday's 2nd half proved we don't have a player like him when he's not playing.

Davis is easily the best midfielder in Scotland right now, and it's imperative he plays against Celtic. We have the 2 best midfielders in the country in Davis and Kamara, but in the last 2 games against them, their midfield looked stronger. As controversial as it might be to some on here, our weakest midfield link against them is Aribo, and If we are to get on top of them, and boss the midfield, Aribo has to really up his game. If we win the midfield battle, we control the match. These are the games we really miss Ryan Jack, and If he was playing alongside the other 2, their midfield wouldn't get a look in.

Bmg agreed. personaly thought we were lucky against them last couple games. If airfields on form tho can sway it our way. personaly I'd play hagi in wide right nut in reality more of a no 10 behind merelos and let Kent roam from wing to wing.

Bmg i don't like them all playing together need 1 forward thinkin player. If u look through the season when all 3 are fit its usually kamara on the bench. but when playing he's had a famtastic season. Some improvement on last season defo. 👍.

BMGH01, exactly mate and i've said it on here numerous times that joe aribo is a talented footballer, but never plays well against celtic! I'm totally with you here on this one as i would drop him for both remaining celtic games mate 👍.

Kamara is a much better midfielder than ryan Jack IMO

I also believe Jack is finished to be honest and will only play a game here and there but I hope I am wrong.

Davis is head and shoulders above any other midfielder at the club.
If everyone was fit, against Celtic and quality European teams I would always play all 3 of Jack, Davis and Kamara.
For every other game I'd rotate Davis and Kamara.
For all Kamara is talented, he doesn't impose himself in the midfield like Davis does, dictating play or has the defensive discipline capabilities of Jack.
And although Aribo and Hagi are 2 of our most talented played, the frantic pace of the Old Firm game seems to pass them bye.

Kja no way jack is finished will b at rangers for years to come. He had this injury when we signed him. Hopefully the club can get to the bottom of it. Were just not the same team when he's not playing.

This might sound daft, but the 2 most talented midfielders we have at the club are Kamara and Aribo, however, the 2 best midfielders we have, who offer more in the majority of games are, Davis and Jack. Davis and Kamara start against Celtic in the cup, but who fills the rest of the midfield? For me it's a no to Arfield, but I believe Aribo will start in a deeper midfield role. The front three I would like to see are Kent, Wright and Alfie. From what I saw last night, Wright covers a lot of ground and is not afraid to track back and get stuck in, and that's what we need. Maybe not as talented as Hagi, but a definite grafter who knows how to play, and has a nice burst of pace.

All about opinions but a fit ryan jack would for me anyway always be in our midfield and in front of kamara in the pecking order 🤔 Make no doubt about it our manager also thinks so! Jack and davis can take the midfield by the scruff of the neck, when jack and davis are not in our midfield, it sticks out a mile off and kamara can't dominate and lead like those 2, although kamara is a good midfielder and technically sound 👍.

We're all getting caught up on who's going play in our midfield, but the right back position is giving me the fear. As much as I think he's a decent centre half, Balogun is very dodgy at right back. Remember, the wee boy with no neck who likes to get his boaby out in public will probably play for them, and he's not the sort of player Balogun will like playing against. If Jack is a big miss, Tav is a bigger one.

Davis must be fit to face Celtic in the Scottish Cup. It is a shame that Jack is injured. Hagi playing in the inside forward position with the killer pass could be crucial. Wright looks great in his first few games for Rangers and Kamara before Aribo for me.

When everyone’s fit u see who starts Jack every time 👌🏻 Love Kamara and Davis as well but neither can do what Jack does he breaks play recycles the ball like no one else! That’s MASSIVE in the big games. You see the difference in Rangers performances with and without Jack in OFs.
