Why MPH, we can’t literally sign a whole new squad. The big man hasn’t put a foot wrong and I wouldn’t have let him go in the first place. He’s experienced, lower wages than most, good around the dressing room by all accounts, could do far worse for a backup CB.

Quite surprised at the positive reaction to this one.
Considering Balogun has been part of the same defence as Tav, Goldson and Borna for the majority of his time with us, why is he not a serial loser?
Especially given that for a lot of that time he's been second choice or injured?
On the later, he's probably played less than Jack this year - and I can only imagine the fallout if Jack gets an extension.
So what makes Balogun different?

Balagoun rarely puts a foot wrong and Saturday was one of those games, am delighted he’s staying, on the injury front it’s mainly been niggles and the low wage is a No brainer especially when possibly up too. three CBs could leave.

Balogun is not in the same category as those you mentioned Ehl, all of those were regulars, Balogun wasn't. I'm not sure how you can't work that out for yourself?

That's my point Blue River, he's not been a regular in a defence that's been heavily criticised on this forum - due to a combination of fitness and ability, hence my surprise at the positivity.

Balogun has barely put a foot wrong, has terrific timing in his tackles and is probably the fastest centre back we have at the club! And he’d play for us for peanuts!

Balogun loves Rangers. we need someone with heart next season. he won’t always be first choice but a good guy to have about . respect the big guy .

Love big Balogan. I was very happy he was brought back to a team he loves. He gives it max for us for a sensible wage.
