Decent enough performance. Few errors in terms of wayward passes and positional sense.

Coulibaly looks a grafter, Morelos will take confidence and push on, still needs a dictator in the middle to pick his runs.

Windass was tosh when he came on, thought he would’ve took a chance at trying to shine.

Defence looks good big Connor could be our new Gough.

Feel great about shagger in between the sticks.

Onwards bears.

Windass is looking to his move away. His heart is clearly set on it and it's obvious. £3M isn't bad for someone who's either great or gash and never in the middle.

2.) 27 Jul 2018 06:01:43
A win a win and away from home in Europe. Onwards and upwards.

3.) 27 Jul 2018 08:28:00
Yip, good win. Overall very happy. Hopefully morelos does push on, took his goal well and to be fair it was a well worked corner. We do miss john's runs, think john and middleton would tear it up down the left. Thought big goldson and katic were immense. How good is it to have mcgregor in goals. Last season we would have lost that game, our defence would have crumbled.

4.) 27 Jul 2018 09:27:36
First time NK Osijek haven’t scored in a home tie in Europe since year 2000- clean sheet for us, impressive and away goal! I’ll take that all day.

5.) 27 Jul 2018 12:39:51
We are the only Scottish club not to have conceded a goal in European competion this week. and all the rest of them played home ties.

6.) 27 Jul 2018 13:34:15
I can't wait to see this team after 5.6 games. when you think they have only played two or three games and some players still to come into the team.

7.) 27 Jul 2018 14:31:21
Sorry are you referring to gers or this lot Osijek after 5-6 games. Agree there is improvement in Gers but unfair to give them timescales. Let's wait and see.

8.) 27 Jul 2018 14:59:27
Millerbranbwilson I mean the GERS of coarse. I can't wait till the league starts. anyone heard when we can get our hands on the new strips.

9.) 27 Jul 2018 20:55:24
What a difference in the professional setup compared to this time last season under Pedro!

10.) 27 Jul 2018 23:03:07
l would let windass go for 3 million but if that is the case l would have a 30% sell on clause . and l don't what the doubters say l would also take big laff. back tomorrow he knows wit the club's about . don't time to settle in piss .

Young Docherty on loan is sensible. The young lad needs games and too start each week, that won’t happen with the midfield Gerrard is bringing together.

Important for his development and future role.

Good luck to him.

Jardine72

1.) 20 Jul 2018 07:44:23
I totally reiterate that, Jardine 72.
I wish our young midfielder greg docherty all the best of luck in his season long loan deal, no matter which english club he signs for! I'll tell you one thing, whoever gets doch on loan, will have a good, young midfielder on their books, with a tremendous professionalism and workrate, about him! Hope when he does come back to his beloved rangers, that there's a space in our midfield for him! Good luck young man!

2.) 20 Jul 2018 08:00:45
good shout jardine

the lad does need games to develop but won’t get them with us as things stand

countless top players have spent time out on loan so no shame in that

i’d rather he was playing every wk and learning than sitting on bench and getting 10mins here and there

he wld come back a better player and cld be an option
nxt season. the lad still has 4yrs left and has something to offer from what i saw last season.

3.) 20 Jul 2018 12:56:42
Good move loaning him south of the border, He will play and develop better than sitting on our bench and if he performs well his valuation will increase significantly.

I don’t doubt for a minute lafferty would score for us.

I just wouldn’t give hearts that kind of money or any other Scottish club for that matter.

Everyone of them have had a kick out and took a shot when we were down.

Well the lion is roaring back again. I’d spend our monies elsewhere.

Jardine72

1.) 14 Aug 2018 08:30:30
i agree with your sentiment jardine but logically if a player is good enough to play for rangers then we should try to sign them if they want to join us!

2.) 14 Aug 2018 11:24:09
Hearts look good this year, by signing him we are also weakening a rival club.

13 Aug 2018 02:32:30
If Coulibaly has £5 and you have £5, Coulibaly has more money than you.

Jardine72

1.) 13 Aug 2018 11:20:02
Coulibaly could hoover every room in his hoose at the same time.

10 Aug 2018 21:31:33
I know it’s very early days fellow bears, but the way we have conducted ourselves over the summer since SG’s appointment is reminding me of how we were under Walter.

By that I mean, how we’re keeping our council, going about our business, there is a professionalism now which wasn’t there under PC or Murty, as I don’t think certain members of the board or players were happy under either stewardship.

We have struck gold with this appointment and it will only get better as we gain momentum.

I feel and our club is being led from the inside again, by good decent footballing brains and also Gentleman as was the rangers I knew and respected.

If we can progress in Europe and reach the stages where we’re getting a turnover again, this already would be a remarkable and significant step forward.

I am sure under SG and GMcC we have a great chance of reaching a level, that once again, will have us a the top of Scottish football.

Really looking forward to this season, unless Klopp loses his first 6 games lol.

Breathe of fresh air, totally agree jardine72.

2.) 10 Aug 2018 22:34:37
There is no doubt Rangers have pulled a master stroke in pointing Steven Gerrard as manager. His name alone has pulled some class players. Gerrard is a winner and will not want to fail. He and his team is bringing the feel good factor back to Ibrox. He and Mark Allen have bought/ signed well. And so far they have spent less than Pedro did.

3.) 10 Aug 2018 23:04:31
Absoulutly buzzing. we all are ibrox was a brilliant place on thurs. no seen that for a while. beating them at hampden and knocking Motherwell out cup wi the deano goal was good but this . this is the real mcoy. Thank the lord we never got mcinnes. Thank you Derik from the bottom of my heart.

4.) 11 Aug 2018 09:20:19
We are looking good but let's wait to see where we are after 12 games before getting carried away. I’m optimistic the banter years are over as well but let's see where we sit in December at the break.

09 Aug 2018 22:37:31
So proud of that performance. Happy for Tav getting his goal, he will take great confidence moving forward with his overall performance.

Coulibaly was outstanding, work ethic and desire incredible. Arfield linking up play and ran his socks off.

What a joy the only Scottish team to win in Europe this week.

Jardine72

1.) 09 Aug 2018 22:55:21
Arfield works his arse off yes. As he did Sunday. But his through balls are horrible. Getting cut out. flipping the play to attack to defence too quickly! . Needs to improve and we all know it. Happy with his workrate, positioning, tackling and all round play. We're on the right road. just a mobile goalscorer required.

09 Aug 2018 00:14:27
I’d happily keep Tav but for silly money he could go along with Windass. Between 7/ 9 and sell on fees for them both would be good business after what we paid.

We could plug a few gaps with some decent signings with that cash.

We’re starting from the back and have a good spine. A good dominant box to box midfielder and a sharp number 10 along with a snappy predator.

We could be onto something good.

We’re in the mess because of him.

I don’t want him back near the place.

If you think for one minute selling Rangers for £1 was him treating us with a modicum of respect you’re deluded.

It’s honesty, clarity, passion from now on we need. Not those with an ego bigger than his bank balance.

I loved and lived 9 in a row but he jumped ship just like the others that are called rats.

You pay a manager less than your players. You end up with Murty mark 2.

Regardless who it will be, we need to pay top money to get the best availible in our range.

If not, may as well chuck it.

Blue Pete I do indeed and that’s where that convo ends, his behaviour was shocking I said i didn’t condone it

But he wasn’t found guilty and you had judged him.

PS you can’t beat the stones. That’s exactly what anyone delivering violence to the opposite sex, should have removed and spoon fed.

Same as gazza then. bet you still shouted out when he bust the net.

I’m not in anyway condoning his behaviour, but the air on the moral high ground on here must be very thin at times, too many on that cloud

Exactly I don’t care what other game or end he sits in. However if you pull on the jersey, there’s a line you don’t cross.

No great loss.
