James Collins supposed to be coming to Ibrox, has anyone else heard same?

loyalist

1.) 29 May 2018 15:03:54
Saw a few diff sources saying it was a load of rubbish.

2.) 29 May 2018 15:23:48
A week out of date with that story

3.) 29 May 2018 16:02:45
Stiv65, only heard about it today, told it was 99%, just passing on what I heard, haven't been on in a while as getting disillusioned with the way we bears talk to one another, loyalty to one another and respect for opinion and rumour has been superseded by disloyalty and oneupmanship, a sad state of affairs.

4.) 29 May 2018 16:29:20
Where you no told huge investment was being announced weeks ago as well from your “source” loyalist?

5.) 29 May 2018 16:31:46
Couldn't agree more loyalist. You keep supplying the rumours and leave it to me to decide what is believable or not. We are all members of the same family.
Cheers mate.

6.) 29 May 2018 21:24:02
Ldm17, yes I was told big money investment coming and having checked again a few days ago, that is still the case, also been told we're not talking to the media at all, you'll here it from us first, stevie G arrives Friday, I'm 100% certain he's not coming to make an arse of himself or others .

7.) 29 May 2018 22:26:36
Ldm17, I did mate, also put up about Gerard and McAllister, some time before it was announced, from same "source", Ps ldm17, investment still coming, look forward to hearing from you then mate.

8.) 30 May 2018 08:36:28
We all KNOW investment is being saught. It won’t be or a surprise to anyone. You bumped your gums that it was happening 100% weeks ago so you or your source were talking absolute guff. McAllister being SG’s no 2 was pretty much everyone’s guess. I thought it as soon as he was linked should I take credit for that. Take a day off!

11 May 2018 11:32:05
Just back in Glasgow and can confirm, big investment is still coming, Stevie g will have a budget, keep believing my loyal friends.

loyalist

1.) 11 May 2018 13:12:50
Mark Guidi mentioned it again the other night! I know he tends to get most things wrong, he has been persistent in his belief that investment is coming! Fingers crossed he is right for once!

2.) 11 May 2018 13:38:59
Stevie would not be taking job without financial assurances

it is that simple

3.) 11 May 2018 15:43:40
There is far too many people talking about this for there not to be some truth in the rumours . At ibrox last week it was big news same as the press . Former players in the corporate lounge even saying it was true . I believe it will come .

4.) 11 May 2018 16:45:01
Loyalist who are you to confirm investment is coming? You know nothing. King made it clear that Rangers are not talking to any external investor. He claims he turned down investment from China and I think he is closer to the Ibrox board than you are.

5.) 11 May 2018 16:50:09
Good luck with the investments pmsfl

6.) 11 May 2018 17:11:25
Hey hibsboy. How do you think you’ll get on next season when all your best players will be away and the manager throws a temper tantrum and leaves? Lennon this week has been far funnier than anything that’s going on at rangers.

7.) 11 May 2018 17:55:18
It was like an angry orange 🍊 Lennon laughing stock of the game

8.) 11 May 2018 18:06:35
Hibsed it again, nightmare 🤣🤣🤣

9.) 11 May 2018 18:13:20
You know hee haw loyalist

10.) 11 May 2018 18:59:12
Well done on finishing fourth hibsboy, great achievement for the small club in Edinburgh, glad the natural order was restored, now to restore the natural order in Glasgow.

11.) 11 May 2018 19:04:10
Oooo my sides lennons a laughing stock yEs mcgeouch leaving is a big lose as will McGinn if he goes but with the £3-5m we get I'm sure we will bring in some more talent as for Lennon he will be at ER next season to keep us up there especially with European football on the cards.
Maybe further down the line you will sign some more of our cast offs like Cummings, as I've said good luck with your investment but I wonder who will invest in a club that has about £40m debt but I'm sure Gerrard will sort the team out with £10m good luck lol

12.) 11 May 2018 20:16:20
Hibsboy trust me, your new manager next season will be stuart mccall!
Lennon is off!

13.) 11 May 2018 20:51:25
Stuart McCall too big a name for a diddy team like Hibs supercooper. Probably be someone along the lines of Paul Hartley or Jim McIntyre

14.) 11 May 2018 22:31:49
Hibsboy. our castoffs? How about Whittaker and darren McGregor? Dry your eyes son. Yous are 4th and you know it 😂

15.) 11 May 2018 22:45:23
Really hope it is not McCall as I like the wee guy and wouldn't wish that on anyone.

16.) 11 May 2018 23:40:25
The fact you claim Cummings was a cast off and that we're in 40 mil debt when it was 9 million debt that put us in admin shows how clueless you really are

17.) 12 May 2018 00:28:51
Pmsfl McColl. Diddy team a diddy team that you've only managed to beat 1ns this season Lennon will be back and at least we have some money to spend and when our big cousins get us into Europe there's more to come any way worry about your own team a rooky manager with little money Celtic domineering you now and for at least another 3-4 seasons a major debt little investment in your short history I think you should look at your own club
Scotland's shame the rangers football club 2012

18.) 12 May 2018 07:21:49
Your big cousins? Oh dear what an embarrassment😂😂

19.) 12 May 2018 08:25:05
Your correct hibsbhoy! They are your big cousins ie. septic/ hivees together hand in hand! Git it round you, ya muppet!

20.) 12 May 2018 09:11:01
hibsboy are you timalloy's booty call?

21.) 12 May 2018 12:41:22
Lol is that the best you can come back with good luck tomorrow let's see if you can at least try and beat us twice in a season your teams the laughing stock mate and another head to sit on Brendan's shelf and in Celtics shadow again anyway on ward and upward mighty hibs in Europe good luck with your investments and your new signings if you can afford them GGTTH

22.) 11 May 2018 13:05:48
Aye ok mate.

23.) 12 May 2018 14:57:07
Hibsbhoy! Concentrate on your own manager, popcorn teeth! We've got the class act in the world famous STEVEN GERRARD, my friend! that's what's sticking in a lot of throats within the scottish game, ie media other clubs manager's and of course other clubs supporters! They all hoped and thought stevie g would turn the rangers job down! STEVEN GERRARD GLOBAL NAME, NOW THE MANAGER OF GLOBAL WORLD RECORD HOLDERS, THE MOST SUCCESSFUL FOOTBALL CLUB ON THE PLANET, THE FAMOUS, MOST GLORIOUS GLASGOW RANGERS! Digest that Hibsbhoy ya nunggy!

24.) 12 May 2018 19:22:46
World famous. Steven Gerrard oo now I've heard everything loved the banter guys but really your team are struggling with debt and that may stop investors as for hibs see you up there next season if you make it another fight for 2nd place cause you won't make 1st for the next 5 years cheers guys lol

25.) 12 May 2018 20:46:59
To all those who mock my post concerning investment, saying I know hee hah etc etc, I say one thing time will tell, johhnymac55 I never claimed to be on the board or closer to the board than king, however I think if you check it out king has been making ridiculous statements for the last couple of years, his latest about a pack of cards, my statement is simple, funding is coming, when I does I will expect apologies from my fellow bears who have stopped believing, if it doesn't come I will come of the site and trouble you all no more, ps a lot of tools on here, sadly some are fellow supporters.

05 May 2018 14:16:41
Dave king now holding up investment, he's got 12million now to invest however, three pronged investment from stagecoach owner, Jim mccoll and American, on the proviso king and co go, king put in 8 million wants 16 to go, from a very reliable source . same one I confirmed Stevie G and Gary mac, thanks for saving us Dave however time to move on .

loyalist

1.) 05 May 2018 14:38:15
I have no isnide information or sources but I can't imagine that King has put any of his own money into our club nevermind £8m.

2.) 05 May 2018 14:47:44
Jim McColl and A. N. Other [ JG. ], with input from dm will supply the funding, and dk will be out.

3.) 05 May 2018 15:14:57
Jim Mccoll and Billy walker in hearing

4.) 05 May 2018 19:27:49
I’ve heard also King will go, can’t find share issue. He’s the next out.

5.) 06 May 2018 01:01:45
Met him in lift at ibrox at kil game . thank him and said well done but he appeared very very nervous . but the boys says that is his normal demeanour . but whatever . he has pulled a master stroke with Stevie

03 May 2018 11:20:35
My 2 posts today we're in reply to other posts, so feel the need to say again, Barry Scott was part of consortium who put in 6.5 million in soft loans, he has resigned, after 4/ 5months now he's either the worst business man I've heard of or the board is clearing out ready for the new regime, not sure if any of current board will survive the cull, Gerrard sought assurances of finance. sorted, he's coming and so is the wind of change, I ask fellow bears to stick together, keep believing and all will be revealed in the coming days.

loyalist

1.) 03 May 2018 11:58:02
Loyalist, things are obv happening in the background, both on the Managers post and finances. Like you say, we have to think positively and hope this next couple of weeks brings good news and the turning of the tide

2.) 03 May 2018 12:17:45
The director resignations were to disassociate themselves from King due to the takeover panel ruling, otherwise they would have been implicated and tarnished as obviously they are actove businessmen outside of the club. Nothing more to it.

3.) 03 May 2018 12:28:56
What about the facts that King is going to be given the cold shoulder by the takeover panel - That no business will touch him and that includes Rangers. The two that left are UK business holders and that cold shoulder will affect there business hence they had no real choice but to resign or it will affect their business. If King had ponied up with the cash then they wouldn't have had to resign. I keep banging on about it but King is bad news

4.) 03 May 2018 14:11:20
Paul Murray leave to protect his own business interests, what about Douglas Park has he not got a business to protect. Was he not just made vice chairman?

5.) 03 May 2018 14:39:11
Scott and Murray are dealing with investment banks and with other people's money and hence are subject to more intense regulation and scrutiny and it is imperative they are not tainted. Park is in a different position. That is the reality.

6.) 03 May 2018 16:16:42
Guys instead of posting garbage check the facts. KIng did not want to buy all the shares ok the takeover panel took him to court TWICE and won. King said he did not have the funds, the judge ruled King presided over 2 funds that both had plenty of funds. King made an offer from 1 of those funds, the takeover panel required proof that the fund did indeed have enough funds this has to come from the South African government that's the delay. Love King hate King but don't make up stories or straight out lie.

7.) 03 May 2018 16:27:57
Douglas Park no longer runs his car/ coach business which he handed over to his son. There is no point speculating about why Murray and Scott resigned, we probably may never find out, we all want what’s best for the club so let’s just see what happens in next two weeks

8.) 03 May 2018 16:33:45
My dear bluenosed brothers, I do not know all of Scott or Murray's business interests, however I'm not sure if either have made a statement since there departure, however I will reiterate my earlier point, I don't believe the new regime will have many of the directors there now in when the takeover happens, now I'm not Jesus Christ therefore can't tell you the future, I'm only reporting some of what I've heard, I'm hearing other people mention very similar things, here's one to through the cat amongst the pigeons, earlier I read on this site 50 million to be invested, well the figure I've heard is 60million, all you great unwashed out there before you ask, no I'm not on the glue blah blah blah, it's what I've heard .

9.) 03 May 2018 16:56:22
Bluepete the point is that King continues to fail to adhere to the Takeover Panel and the PLC had to write to the South African government to try to get these funds released. That is public knowledge. All those hitting disagree should consider that. The two directors then said we want nothing more to do with this, which is perfectly understandable from a corporate governance perspective. I hope there is new investment coming in, I have no idea, but those trying to say their departure equals regime change are wide of the mark. If anything if that was the case they would be hanging around as long as possible to have their vote on the board, they certainly wouldn't be resigning.

10.) 03 May 2018 17:30:28
Hi Loyalist. Is/ was Jesus Christ a psychic? I thought the man was a carpenter.

11.) 03 May 2018 23:26:04
1872 blue, I do believe he was a carpenter lol, he was definitely a psychic, as he was doing the shabby chic thing 2000 years before everyone else

27 Apr 2018 07:58:58
Update on last night's post, McAllister definitely Stevie g's right hand man plus for me the big news is he's been told plenty of money to spend

Don't know where or who the money is from, let's hope this is all true, ps I'm excited

loyalist

1.) 27 Apr 2018 08:54:22
Hope so mate, could of done with someone with more managerial experience in my opinion, but even that doesn't guarantee success. But i am definitely excited about signing stevie g tho, If it happens

2.) 27 Apr 2018 09:02:13
How's the heid loyal?

3.) 27 Apr 2018 09:53:01

Can't wait till Friday, it's like 1986 all over again, here's hoping we get just a fraction of that success and we'll have turned a corner

loyalist

1.) 31 May 2018 13:03:48
Why is it like 1986 all over again loyalist? Are you bringing back EBTs?

26 May 2018 07:13:52
Hibsboy, stevie G was indeed world class as a player, end of, with regards his budget, youll find out soon enough about that, as for his targets, has he came out and declared one target . no he hasn't, all we have right now is paper talk and agents trying to move there players, some no doubt using us to promote their own player, when rangers or Stevie G makes a comment then I'll listen, not to our one sided rangers hating Scottish media

loyalist

1.) 26 May 2018 09:23:46
Good morning fellow bears. Loyalist. A first class post. I don't think any sensibly person could argue with such a concise and wise, bring us back to Earth statement.

2.) 26 May 2018 13:24:35
Good point LOYALIST. Begs the question why you read a rumours site. not all rumours are JUST Papertalk. And reading this beats the hell out of doung the garden!

17 May 2018 21:56:51
Craig Cathcart of Watford supposed to be in the frame for us, anybody else heard his name kicking about, also heard the skirtel name from same source . my only source lol, let's hope there's some truth in some of these names .

loyalist

1.) 17 May 2018 22:43:44
We were linked with him last summer. Didn't seem to be any truth in it then so it's probably just the papers rerunning the same stuff

2.) 17 May 2018 23:16:55
My source 😂 what an absolute blether, whens the investment coming! 😂😂

3.) 18 May 2018 00:30:12
It’s a rumour site LDM, no need to give folk grief for posting what they are hearing. Yer acting like a tim taking the piss about what was previously rumoured regarding investment.

4.) 18 May 2018 03:40:26
The names being rumoured that could be coming to rangers won't happen for 2 reasons, high tranfer fee and wages.

5.) 18 May 2018 09:00:30
Some of them won't be coming for the money, we can't afford the wages they are on. that's blatantly obvious, they have already made their cash in England and abroad they will be coming to play for Steven Gerrard

07 May 2018 18:03:11
I posted on Saturday king won't go till he gets a pay off, then I said the figure 12million, this share issue is a smoke screen, the contact I have is in Glasgow, so hopefully I'll hear from him later, to find out what he's heard, all the stories, there has to be some truth in there somewhere. keep believing.

loyalist

1.) 07 May 2018 18:43:07
Loyalist King has no power without the support of the shareholders. King personally owns 14% of the shares. So you are telling me that he wants £12mill for his shares. If that happens anyone who wants to take over at Rangers would be paying possibly 40p per share? Buy his buy up others and work out average price each share bought at. Not a chance. If the shareholders tell King he is no longer wanted he needs to walk. He can keep his shares but he is out the club. You are talking as if King is the owner. He is only an employee and shareholder. You are talking nonsense. King may go to escape takeover panel ruling but this £12mill to go now is fools talk.

2.) 07 May 2018 18:57:59
Loyalist guys like you and others on here just need to let it go with I'll see what my source is telling me later on. 50 million to make what 2 million prize money at the end of the season.

3.) 07 May 2018 19:02:31
King has already done everything the takeover panel had asked but now they admit they have proof the money is indeed in the trust fund King put forward. Thay have now asked him to have the money put into an account over here and ring-fenced so it can't be used for anything else. With his reluctance to make the offer I can understand why they are making him jump through hoops. But they imo are going to far and jumping through hoops takes time.

4.) 07 May 2018 20:26:27
£12m for 14% but he has to offer £11m for the other 86%? That makes sense.
