With the new guys coming in I think young Zelalem will be spending more time on the bench now can't say we missed him on Saturday ok as back up shouldn't be first choice though!

14 Feb 2016 21:30:20
What will be the starting eleven v Killie?

Foderingham

Tav, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace

Holt Halliday Law

Waghorn. Miller. McKay.

14 Feb 2016 23:10:01
I know it hard as we have guys cup tied but i'd rest Waggy or even bench him, he needs to get his hunger and shooting boots back, this happens some times when a player talks about targets etc,
He'll come good again 2-0 Rangers Wallace and Miller the scorers!

15 Feb 2016 08:24:37
I would play Waghorn as the only option we have is Clark or Hardie and O Halloran and King are both cup tied.
Waghorn has been immense this season. He will start scoring again soon but he has scored lots of vital goals and has been a great buy by Warbs.
Play him on the right and Miller through the middle and McKay on the left.
Do we have any other options possibly Forrester?

15 Feb 2016 09:56:07
I would agree with playing waggy on the right and miller thru the middle. I think waggy has played better when cutting in off the wing. Take 1-0 or even go to pens as long as we go thru.

14 Feb 2016 20:23:41
3-1 gers on Tuesday killy are going to get it lol iam forgetting the alloa game. we are going to take our chances. wht do the rest of yous think score will b.

14 Feb 2016 20:41:16
I forecast 2-0 rangers!

14 Feb 2016 21:44:33
I'll take either of those, gladly!

14 Feb 2016 22:41:00
Al even take 1-0 with a boyd own goal lol.

15 Feb 2016 00:25:06
For info re above posts - Bookies prices for Killie game - generally we are odds on favs at 4/ 6 to win and correct scores of 1-0 or 2-0 or 2-1 in our favour are priced around the 7/ 1 - 8/ 1 mark - happy punting guys 🏇.

15 Feb 2016 10:08:11
Any win will do as after Saturday we need to take our chances.

14 Feb 2016 20:23:23
Tuesday night no more X- Rangers players
Appreciation society, they're lining up and trying to beat us so Feck them all, let's go out and run them ragged and score a few crackers. Follow Follow.

14 Feb 2016 19:53:40
Lads piece of humble pie if I may, I had a few beers watching the game yesterday and posted a slightly frustrated post, for which albeit it was absolutely on the money, only kidding! . As it might have annoyed a few fellow bears!

Anyway onto Tue night, the QOS on Sunday!

PS it was an early night!

14 Feb 2016 15:30:46
I am new to this site and I enjoy anything RANGERS.
I appreciate everyone, s opinion but I am satisfied with present team even if not the finished article. Warburton wants players that are comfortable on the ball, that will do for me after watching crap for the last few seasons I, m delighted.
Re the killie game I, m not worried as they will have to come out and attack us as they are at home, then watch us go.

14 Feb 2016 16:22:32
Why do you think Killie will have to come out and attack? I think they will sit in and hope to hit us on the counter attack. They have a couple of useful front players who can exploit our defence. As for you being satisfied with the team fair enough however I think we are well short of competing on a week to week basis in the top league and unless some decent amount of money is spent in the summer I can't see us doing much.

14 Feb 2016 16:37:25
I have to agree biffo I see killie sitting waiting to catch
the same way st johnstone did I actually fear for us
unless t to take our chances.

14 Feb 2016 17:10:47
Welcome to the site aitken! I do agree with your post to an extent mate, I'm also very satisfied that mark warburton is our manager and his style is very pleasing and good on the eye to watch ie. this is the way football should be played, he has a terrific eye for a player and is tremendous at taking young players and developing them ie. barrie mckay is an example as he imo has a terrific football career in front of him after being given a chance by warbs who noticed his raw talent and ability, the Kilmarnock game on tuesday could suit us down to the ground especially if killie do have a go! In warbs we trust!

14 Feb 2016 17:40:57
Biffo I will hold you to your comments next season because I've been reading - not posting on this site for a long time, I just want to say you are one of the most negative people on here.

14 Feb 2016 17:42:45
I am with Biffo on this.

A team that has 70+ of the play against a team like Alloa, that misses chance after chance, that has one bad corner kick after another has a problem.

If we cannot convert our chances against Kilmarnock we will suffer as we did yesterday against Alloa.

If we are to progress in this competition we need to be more clinical.

14 Feb 2016 18:20:06
Sea of ibrox. I think biffo is spot on. We will struggle to compete if we don't invest. I think hearts and aberdeen would batter us as it stands now. I don't think biffo is negative, I think like me and a few others he's just being realistic.

14 Feb 2016 18:20:20
killie won't attack but every team has a day like yesterday and at least by a miracle it never cost us anything points wise quite sure there will be more twists and turns before it s all over.

14 Feb 2016 19:26:26
A message yet again to the doubting thomas's, do you guys think our management team don't know we'll need to strengthen in the summer for our assault in the premiership, I'll answer it for you, of course they do and they will, have some faith for god's sake and like seaofibrox said you guys are far too negative, we're rebuilding a full club here give it time as it will happen, in warbs we trust!

14 Feb 2016 20:25:17
Warb 15. No one said we won't strengthen, all I'm saying is that its obvious that we have to. As for the management team, yes we are happy with them. But they have to change tactics with short corners etc and if you can't see that then you are mistaken.

14 Feb 2016 20:27:51
Guys, guys, guys, take your mind back to hibs v Aberdeen, hibs played they off the park and skelped them, then we skelped hibs, make no mistake we will be in the top two next year, no wurries.

14 Feb 2016 22:34:15
Here, here stuzo, positive thinking mate, of course we will!

14 Feb 2016 22:41:03
Coldo, how many times does the manager have to tell you mate, warbs has a certain way of playing and isn't going to change his style, he's already stated he has the team taking short corners as he doesn't believe in giving possession away with lumping the ball into the box when we haven't got a big target man centre forward, whether you think its right or not that's the stamp warbs has put on the team so let's get right behind our manager and our team.

15 Feb 2016 00:49:22
Warb 15, I am behind mw and what he has done has been first class. Having said that these short corners and square balls are a joke. We are lacking that edge in the final third. We need to be more clinical in front of goal and need to be more direct. That is fact. Tippy tappy won't cut it. Too many times we have no one in the box because we always come short. We struggled to beat falkirk raith killie and managed to salvage a point against alloa when we should have won comfortably. Yes we had the majority of play and hammered all the teams mentioned but it doesn't hide the fact the issue is purely tactical. If we adapt our play in terms of having a number 9, get crosses in, including corners, be more direct then we will score goals. The reason we don't score is because we persist in trying to play like barcelona when we are kidding ourselves. Every team knows how we set up and how we will play hence why we have struggled to beat teams. We don't have anything else to our game. That needs to change. if you are happy to be a yes man then that's up to you but the last few weeks at ibrox every fan is moaning about the points I have made above. Our club has been transformed from top to bottom i'm not denying that and mw has been fantastic but when teams park the bus we need another tactic or we will struggle to beat teams. That is fact and has been proven.

15 Feb 2016 05:58:07
Our wonderful and great manager will get messi and bale to sign for our wonderful club and they will pay is to play at the wonderful temple of our glorious club, then our beloved gaffer will win everything including the championship and the champions league for our beloved team and our wonderful players, alloa was a blip on our glorious managers road to the very summit of football, were his wonderfulness will be crowned as god! In warbs we gush.

15 Feb 2016 06:35:02
NOT A YES MAN COLDO BUT A RANGERS MAN who totally supports his club and manager and have done for the best part of 40 years my good friend, of course we can see deficiencies and it will get sorted imo, I for one am very happy with our progress thus far, rome wasn't built in a day! Time will tell but I know who I'll bet will be proved correct in the fullness of time, warbs v coldo no contest matey! If you think some aspects of warburton's management style is a joke (your words, NOT mine) then let him know in writing instead of trying to educate and convince me, I'm totally BEHIND his philosophy and what he's building at glasgow rangers, so no yes man but an understanding, football man, there's a difference you know!

15 Feb 2016 12:22:15
Do you have a shrine with pictures and candles of mw by any chance? Perhaps supplied by all the sources in the club you claim give you inside information? -JOKING.

You are the worst poster on this site for jumping on anyone who doesn't think MW is some sort of all seeing God.

I love the club as much as any, but I can see It's faults. MW has some blinding obvious weaknesses.

15 Feb 2016 12:28:42
Its not about warbs v coldo mate, simply saying tactics must change as most fans have been saying. You have no answers to my argument other than " they will change in time" " rome wasn't built in a day " " you stand by mw" " the manager said we don't want to give possession away". I'm behind mw to and what he has done, but change is needed in certain aspects of the play or we will continue to struggle to score.

15 Feb 2016 14:13:38
Exactly luigi. Some people can't accept constructive feedback. Its clearly obvious that tweeks to our play is needed.

15 Feb 2016 11:04:23
Warns didn't Glasgow Rangers get put into liquidation?

14 Feb 2016 14:01:00
Just watched arsenal v leicester and don't understand how dw never got booked for running in to fans, but gets booked for putting his hand up in the air and people saying he's lucky he never started a riot. But to me more chance of dw celebration causing a riot than a celebration.

14 Feb 2016 14:20:19
Ao why did dw get booked for his celebration then?

14 Feb 2016 15:26:29
Dw never got booked.

14 Feb 2016 15:33:54
Dont get why some1 would disagree with my post. As i would say a player scoring a goal then running in to the crowd to celebrate would have more chance of starting a riot than a player putting his hand up in the air.

14 Feb 2016 15:43:48
Halley 1
I wouldn't pay too much attention to the agree or disagree Nate some golfs just like a whind up others can't say I pay to much attention to it just happy it gets posted!

14 Feb 2016 16:36:50
Don't know why refs never book players for diving. mahrez was at it all game.

14 Feb 2016 17:18:54
Ok bongo thanks. I just thot it was a fair post as to me that was a really big game compared to our game the other week.

14 Feb 2016 17:42:21
Hallet mate I'm going to disagree on every post you make now.

14 Feb 2016 20:13:59
Lol seaofibrox.

14 Feb 2016 20:15:54
Halley 1
See what I mean lol good response Sea of Ibrox.

14 Feb 2016 20:29:12
Wtf, if welbeck should have got booked what about the entourage.

14 Feb 2016 20:30:40
Hallett1 oj the BBC match text it states that wellbeck got booked for over celebrating. Now the BBC wouldn't get something wrong would they? 😉.

14 Feb 2016 20:48:34
Arsenal website too, maybe it was post match.

15 Feb 2016 06:01:40
Ern he plays in a different country xmeith different rules. , and iin any case he was booked, oh and only the refs said he could have caused a riot and not, people
Tommy.

14 Feb 2016 19:56:27
Hallett, you could read the match report at the bottom of the story, just after wellbeck's goal. Unless it's a misprint.

14 Feb 2016 12:50:38
Just an observation may not be related but another dip in form when nicky law isn't in the team (maybe not as bad as earlier in the season but we have certainly dropped a little lately) .

14 Feb 2016 13:05:37
I agree hope we play law against killie.

14 Feb 2016 13:23:13
I don't think you can count yday as part of a dip in form by all accounts we played well 25 shots 15 on target the problem we have is we need an out and out goal scorer which I'd be amazed if we don't get in summer. I'd be more concerned if we were not creating chances.

14 Feb 2016 15:07:02
I would play Law before Forrester along with Holt and Halliday in Midfield and Waghorn Miller and Mackay upfront.
If warbs opts to play Ball then possibly Law will be on the bench v Killie.

14 Feb 2016 18:28:11
Law tactical awarness emmense. everytime hall8day outa position law covers it brilliant.1 player i'd be offering new deal is law. iv said it before an say it again i'd play law as holding midfielder. let's get no 9 an wee bit of cover we be sound.

14 Feb 2016 18:22:45
i think law has realised he is not getting new deal.

14 Feb 2016 22:36:53
Players will come in during the summer that are better than Law and Shiels and I suspect that are better than some of those that are currently playing for the first team.
All of the four or five that has been talked about, on top of the two coming from Accrington Stanley will be players that are above current SPL standards.

15 Feb 2016 06:04:46
They will have to be mate, as some people on here actually think this team can challenge in the premier league, no they won't, king and the board know this, we are playing against wheelie bins most weeks
Tommy.

14 Feb 2016 11:20:23
I don't think the champions league will get changed because its the European cup and would take the integrity away from it. if you want to call it the champions league then it should be about the champions of all country's that can play in Europe. there is a lot of leagues that there is 2 or 3 that win the league every year . I think it would change international football as well the 5 country's that would play in the champions league would get stronger and football will change.

14 Feb 2016 12:17:46
The integrity was lost when they let 2nd 3rd and 4th teams into it a competition called champions league. Nothing would surprise me where money is concerned in football.

14 Feb 2016 12:55:43
Top clubs are so powerful that they can do what they want. All the changes to champions league over past 10-15 years have been to keep the elite clubs happy and to to prevent them doing what they are considering now.

I see the best chance at stopping this being the middle ranking teams in the top leagues may be able to gang together and threaten to expel them if plan goes ahead.

14 Feb 2016 10:18:06
Think Waggy should be dropped and Nicky Clark given a few games what do yous think? Waggy just seems like he needs a rest!

14 Feb 2016 10:48:52
Think so, would give Clark a chance to prove wether he is worth a new contract or not.

14 Feb 2016 10:59:00
i would also like to see Harry Forrester given a few games i think when he finally gets his first goal he will kick on looks like he has a lot of ability and still only half fit.

14 Feb 2016 11:47:48
Clark isn't good enough how many times does he have to play to prove this? This guy hardly scored in the 1st division hardly scored last season and yet some people still want to play him? Do you honestly think he is worth a contract and would score in the top league having been unable to score in the championship and 1st division?

14 Feb 2016 12:06:19
Starting 1 game ever now and again isn't good for a player! Give him 5 or 6 games see if he can do it! He needs a good run in the team strikers strive on confidence and its hard to be confident not playing a run of games.

14 Feb 2016 12:12:40
Clark has had runs in the team he isn't good enough for us he gives his best when he comes I'll give him that but I honestly don't think he's the answer I will be amazed if he gets a deal from us!

14 Feb 2016 12:22:16
Ryan

Yeah he does give his all and no one can fault his effort. I really do wish he was good enough as it's clear he is one of us sadly however he isn't good enough.

14 Feb 2016 14:01:18
Clark's scored quite a few from the bench this season.

14 Feb 2016 16:23:53
Cee

How many has he scored this season?

14 Feb 2016 17:30:15
Waghorn should always start before Clark, and O Halloran would be in the starting eleven before Forrester.
Excluding cup games front three O halloran, Waghorn, and McKay.
We also have Miller and King.

14 Feb 2016 12:59:53
if nicky clark goes he could be like kane hemmings and ross macormack after all he scored goals for q o s for fun with players nothing like as good as he has round him know.

14 Feb 2016 19:27:02
Nicky Clark has had umpteen chances Kane Hemings didn't. I've said before I like the boy and he tries like mad but he had his last chance for me a couple of months ago.

14 Feb 2016 09:37:55
Off to the bookies fellow bears to stick a fiver on the mugs double ie. leicester city to beat arsenal and spurs to beat man city, worth a five. guys don't you think?

15 Feb 2016 06:07:16
And warbs to be the next king, that's worth another five.

14 Feb 2016 09:14:19
OK, we got a break yesterday with Hibs drawing as well but we are still well clear at the top with a massively superior goal difference. A corner count of 23-2 in our favour tells a story. Tippy-tappy football is great but we need to be more clinical on the edge of the box! The last 9 games have produced 7 wins and 2 draws, scored 24 with 5 conceded. Not bad really!
