I think he may well be our rcb with goldson or souttar in the middle and trusty on the left. Yilmaz and tav at wing back. Raskin and cifuentes or Davies in front of them with cantwell and dowell in the 10 roles and a new centre forward throw in palma and sakala as a different option hagi also there but can see roughly something along those lines.

Rangers will play a 4-3-3 next season.

Stirling is a squad player who can cover numerous positions in the team. It’s no more complicated than that.

I can see us playing 4-3-3 most domestic games, however Europe and them I could see is playing a 3 with wing backs as posted above to make us harder to breakdown when on the back foot or where we concede the majority of possession.

Saw him England age group. He can play in team of tournament under 17 and under 19.

Played as a 7 for chelsea unders then moved back to fullback so i think in a team like ours that dominates the ball he will be getting up and down the wing no problem, at stoke they were lower half of championship and don't have that better quality over teams in the league that we do.

Deffo three at the back next season, Sterling, Goldson and Souttar, with Tav and Yimaz further up.
Only time it may deviate is against better opposition.

I think the fact that as a fan base we're not at all sure how we set up speaks volumes.

Not something I blame MB for, as he came in mid season.

At least it gives us something to look forward to when it comes to preseason friendlies.

I think we'll move to a 3-5-2, and the make up of the middle 5 will flex depending on the quality of the opposition.

Trusty is made perfect for a 3 going by what I’ve read from team mates ex team mates and fans. His pace and power height and fact he can play Lb or cb means he would be a fantastic lcb in a 3.

I think he will be a squad player. Played 2 games for Chelsea back in 2017 as a sub. Spent rest of his days in League 1 and Championship. Probably only cost us 8 or 9 grand a week so worth a punt.

Beale I think he could easily go 352 next year I wouldn't count it out could push yilmaz and Tav forward to wide roles so we can easier drop back to a back 5 when we don't have the ball in Europe with raskin cantwell jack in midfield sakala and one other up front.

I guess it depends on your definition of what position a player is playing I don't think it's as rigid as formations or roles that were defined in past teams and formations are generally more flexible now.
