Just read barry ferguson's comments regarding kent and morelos ?He states morelos will sign a contract extension with rangers but isn't so sure regarding ryan kent and thinks he could go?I think baz may well be wrong here as the word i'm hearing is that kent is very happy at rangers and will sign a contract extension shortly with alfredo hopefully to follow ?I for one would be delighted if both kent and morelos sign contract extensions with us, as both are very important players for rangers ?.

I’d be very surprised if Barry Ferguson knew nothing on what was going on in Rangers
Very friendly with a lot of rangers / ex rangers players and ex managers one being Ally
he probs knows a lot this coaching staff in various parts of the club / scouts etc
he probs knows more than he ever reveals and he speculates like everyone - probably knowing full well the actual truth behind the scenes but if he devolved it then he would no longer get the info.

Barry was one of my favourite players when he played for Rangers and I have a lot of time for Barry
down to earth and knows how to keep schtum
He was rangers through and through and still is to this day
that’s all I have to say on Barry.

Many come on here with there reliable info but many also have gotten it wrong from there reliable sources.

Spot on, Tom. I know that you, John and one or two others hear and share juicy snippets with the rest of us, but only a complete fool would believe that Barry would not have access to more information, more 'insider' knowledge.
And Stigno, you also hit the nail where it should be hit, mate. Ferguson, McCoist, McCann and a few others still walk, talk and dream football along with those in the game they have known for many, many years and of course have knowledge of certain things.

Some of the comments about Barry on here make me cringe. He was a legend as a player, continually playing through the pain barrier for our club. As the guys have said, the likes of Barry and Ally arr of course well connected at the club and will know lots more than they will be willing to divulge.

Otterspocket, you will find out if kent is overrated when he's not there pal and you will then see what he brings to rangers ie the full package ? He's a very talented footballer and yes could/ should score more goals than he did last season but go and have a wee look at his assists mate ? That's a big contribution imo, no doubt whatsoever not to mention he attracts two sometimes three men to him because they rate him and know he's the dangerman, which of course creates space for others to play into?He would be an extremely hard player to replace ?.
