Anyone got any idea who the three trialists are who are lining up against Cambridge today? No making stuff up please.

1.) 16 Jul 2019 11:46:13
All young boys freed by EPL teams.

2.) 16 Jul 2019 11:47:16
I heard it was snap crackle and pop.

3.) 16 Jul 2019 14:11:20
Rachi from spurs, young boy from man city is the only two i know.

4.) 16 Jul 2019 14:55:57
Royal blue they r already signed.

5.) 16 Jul 2019 15:24:51
John, i'm sure Albert rachi was a trialist today. He has not signed yet.

6.) 16 Jul 2019 16:14:19
Heard from a reliable source it was Larry, Curly and Mo?

7.) 16 Jul 2019 16:16:30
Whatever. He was a named player in 9-1 win against Huddersfield.

8.) 16 Jul 2019 19:06:53
My boy thinks one of the loan players was Kane from Liverpool. He got text from mate who played for Dundee
Not sure the rule re playing another clubs player as a trialists.
I know we did it with Ruth last year.

9.) 16 Jul 2019 19:09:47
Royal blue young boy hosler we signed from Man City played mate.

10.) 16 Jul 2019 20:04:56
Royal blue, Rachi and Hosler have both signed and both played for the u18s today. The 3 trialists were playing for the development squad also today. No idea who they are though.

11.) 16 Jul 2019 20:57:13
Awww my bad musta saw something and got confused. can't see anything online about rachi signing though.

12.) 16 Jul 2019 23:15:13
1 of the trialists was Max Hutchinson, son of former Scotland player Don.

13.) 17 Jul 2019 00:43:19
John he was a trialist in the 9-1 game as well says so in the news real regarding the game if u just read it all will be clear.

14.) 17 Jul 2019 09:12:18
Ok Alexander. Very unusual to name him and not put him down as trialist in Huddersfield game.

15.) 17 Jul 2019 11:07:50
Think it was Tom, Dick and Harry.

08 May 2019 13:10:42
Apparently we are after Zander Clark for £1m? Anyone else think that's madness when Liam Kelly is apparently available for £50k? Clark is decent but is he any better than Fod or Alnwick?

1.) 08 May 2019 13:52:03
Agree mate.

2.) 08 May 2019 15:09:40
He got beat from 40 yards at the weekend so I hope we’re not paying £1m.

3.) 08 May 2019 16:20:23
Its'crazy' that would even have to pay 50k for Kelly!

4.) 08 May 2019 16:40:03
I would rather we re-signed our former young goalkeeper, liam kelly.
Said before on here that kelly should never have been let go to livingston. He's the natural successor to allan mcgregor as far as i'm concerned!

5.) 08 May 2019 18:23:49
Supercooper he was not let go. He left at end of contract as we signed McGregor.

6.) 08 May 2019 19:12:41
SC11 not one person in the coaching team gives two hoots who you think is McGregors natural successor. Your like a broken record going on and on and on about Kelly. HE LEFT, HE WANTED TO GO. Change the record.

7.) 08 May 2019 19:44:29
L17 correct mate. If we kept or signed everyone coops said we would have a squad of 80.

8.) 08 May 2019 20:29:34
JBoy 21 highly rates them all ;-) apart fae Shinnie he has always stated his dislike of Shinnie or has been consistent in saying he was not being good enough.

9.) 08 May 2019 20:40:38
Chill we have 2 McCrories lol.

10.) 09 May 2019 04:04:53
If we sign him it'll be for nothing remotely close to £1m. Behave.

11.) 09 May 2019 07:19:15
We aren’t after him for £1 million killie have priced him at that.

12.) 09 May 2019 10:19:54
Would help if he played for killie Dee haha he’s st Johnstone goalie, imo liam kelly would be ideal replacement, great keeper with a great attitude.

13.) 09 May 2019 10:22:24
Doesn't play for Killie mate.

14.) 09 May 2019 12:25:20
Exactly Jboy and in my honest opinion I truly believe that they’d all be future captains 🙈.

15.) 09 May 2019 18:59:17
I don’t believe that anyone on the coaching team gives two hoots about what anyone thinks on here!

Is SC’s opinion less worthy than the rest on here?

Apparently Roma value Barasic at £4.3m. If I was Ross Wilson I would be treating them like the folk who phone saying “have you been in an accident. ”

Do me a favour and lose my number and don’t bother phoning back. Timewasters.

1.) 14 Jan 2020 13:30:33
Put a 1 in front of the 4 and then we can talk. Cheapskates.

2.) 14 Jan 2020 13:50:34
Theswagman, i think with a bit like that its a pair of bornos auld boots they are after, lol.

3.) 14 Jan 2020 14:14:51
I agree Theswagman, but there's also a report saying rangers have priced barisic at £8.6million? 🤔. that's what they've seemingly told roma the fee would be to get him? If that's true rangers are also seriously undervaluing our left back. For an international left back like barisic, we should be valuing him at at least £15million, IMO anyway!

4.) 14 Jan 2020 14:38:52
Before we should start talking about barisic leaving we should be looking for round about the 15 million mark with a sell on percentage not 8 million.

5.) 14 Jan 2020 15:02:16
I cannot believe some of these comments, he is worth as much or more than KT any day of the week.
Wake up and smell the coffee.

6.) 14 Jan 2020 16:16:13
Wont be any sell on value once his he moves on to another club with his age but 15 mill would be considered am sure.

7.) 14 Jan 2020 16:31:14
Rangers haven't given roma a price. Italian Paper beleived Rangers would want excess of 10m Euros (£8.6m) .

8.) 14 Jan 2020 18:22:37
We should be more excited about what additional quality we add to our squad in this window. I believe if we allow any of our top players to move at this time, we will be letting everyone who follows Rangers down very badly.

13 Jan 2020 01:01:57
Someone commented earlier about Candeias having spat the dummy because he wouldn’t be first choice. I’ve heard (from inside the club), that Gerrard can be quite cold with players when he decides they’re not needed. Did it to Grezda (probably fair enough) but also Candeias, Dorrans and is now doing it to Murphy. I love our manager but he definitely has his favourites. The likes of Tav and Goldson (and Worral last season) can do no wrong.

1.) 13 Jan 2020 06:53:46
Only human to have favourites. every manager has and ge has been right by a mile so far.

2.) 13 Jan 2020 08:39:18
Wagman, that’s how football works✌️🇬🇧.

3.) 13 Jan 2020 10:09:22
Can’t let Morelos or barasic go this transfer window at any price or our chances of stopping 9 in a row might go with them probaly 1of them or both go in summer for big money but this transfer window.

4.) 13 Jan 2020 16:55:46
Shankly, Clough and other top bosses used to completely ignore even injured players. They only concentrate on those who are playing, who are of use to them. The assistant managers are always there with the paper hankies for those who can't handle it.

5.) 14 Jan 2020 01:03:56
Different generations. That’s why all the hard line managers are dying out. It’s why Jose is struggling to get the results he was getting 15 years ago.

6.) 14 Jan 2020 07:55:03
No it's not swagman its because managers have all worked Mourinho out he's played one way for nearly 20 years, put everybody behind the ball n try n hit on counter. he's a dinosaur.

29 Dec 2019 19:58:18
Kris Boyd back in a few good books today 🤣😂.

29 Dec 2019 11:18:44
Just seen the team, can’t believe he has benched Arfield and started Kamara.

1.) 29 Dec 2019 11:27:56
Very surprised. I thought Kamara gave the ball away to easily in MF against Killie. he's no dig. Saying that Arfield been off the pace too.

2.) 29 Dec 2019 11:38:08
They have put out a very attacking side, I fear If they play well it could be tough afternoon. I just can't see them not scoring but they will leak a goal. 3-1 Celtic but hope for a 1-5, Morelos to get all 5.

3.) 29 Dec 2019 11:38:25
It's the team as I called it, was a toss up between aribo and arfield but aribo is better in that right side berth. Kamara is a retainer of the ball. A must at parkhead.

4.) 29 Dec 2019 13:29:11
Kamara playing well jack ropy. Done by ref again.

5.) 29 Dec 2019 13:32:39
Arfield unlucky not to start imo but probably the strongest line up available. Let's do this! sky are really putting the boot in. Really really hope we can ruin their New Year. Come om guys, Please just win!

20 Dec 2019 20:51:55
Great first half, sadly tainted by the morons who are out in force again with the bad song book. Absolute embarrassment.

1.) 20 Dec 2019 21:49:38
Agree but they will argue it’s only Europe it’s an issue holes aside great performance Been critical of Kent of late great tonight as was Aribo. first half was as awesome great 3 points onwards and upwards
By the way Happy Christmas to all the troops that post on here all the best to you and yours, big thanks to Ed also.

2.) 20 Dec 2019 22:11:16
Yes I have to agree it’s time to move on from the old songs. They are not doing the club any favours conducting themselves like that.

Guys move on Penny Arcade or something else but bin rubbish
We were singing that crap 20 years ago
Sat in the Broomloan with my 12 year old listing to that rubbish a few weeks back and it’s not pleasant I don’t feel it’s remotely relevant to a Rangers game in 2019 move on.

3.) 20 Dec 2019 22:19:43
Merry Xmas to you too mate!

4.) 20 Dec 2019 22:54:22
For goodness sake swagman, give it a rest, Hibs Fans are the disgrace tonight with the bottle throwing incident, the SFA have to hammer them for this.

5.) 21 Dec 2019 00:50:37
As I’ve said in another post, I’ve no interest in them. I’m interested in how we carry ourselves and represent the club as fans. Singing absolute hateful bile is bringing nothing but shame on us and gives ammunition to the club’s enemies. It’s an own goal every time it happens. But you’re probably in the 90 minute bigot camp.

6.) 21 Dec 2019 09:31:44
Theswagman, Don't misread what I'm saying, I totally abhor the sectarian singing by some of our fans and the problems it can cause for us, all I was saying was, enjoy what was a great result. Have a good X'mas and New Year.

Barker is 5 years younger than Boyle. He might not be a world beater but by 27 I would be surprised if he isn’t better than Boyle. Honestly, it’s like we’re still in League 2. If it was up to some of you we would have sold Morelos and Barasic for buttons and would be playing Louis Moulet and Lewis Stevenson in their place 😂.

Neither of these players are the required standard. Boyle is no different from Barker or Jones.

I’m not Goldson’s biggest fan, but I wouldn’t accept £8m for him. That sets the market for what it costs to do business with Rangers. Other teams like us that are big fish in small ponds like Ajax, Porto and dare I say it, Celtic, always demand sizeable fees for players so clubs know if they want a player from one of these teams not to go in with a stupid bid. We would start a precedent by taking £8m for our first choice centre half. Then we would end up taking £15m for Morelos. We have to stop selling ourselves short.

Paul86 - you’re saying that if we won the league you would sell our first choice centre half for £5m? 😂😂😂.

19 Jan 2020 12:13:37
You have to take it in context lads, look at the market you are selling to. We paid £3m to take him here, he’s had 2 years of solid first team football after a long time out with injuries, and is just coming into his prime. If we are selling any first team player to the EPL bidding has to start around £10m. They will think nothing of paying that for an unproven player from random leagues around the world, so for an English centre half with EPL experience that is a minimum. Do you think if he was at Celtic they would be selling him for £5m or something equally ridiculous? We have to stop selling ourselves short.

Agreed mate, the manager needs to wake up if he thinks we don’t need anyone in. That hubris will cost us. Celtic have strengthened and they had a deeper squad to begin with. If we don’t get a few in the door we’ll lose the title by a decent margin.

Doiger - who’s writing him off? Just saying he’s too lanky at the moment, championship level defenders bullied him what do you think guys a step up will do? Just needs a season to get in shape.

Was too lightweight for the championship, needs to mature into a man’s body a bit, was getting bullied.

It’s a place of obscene, dripping wealth. A place for the rich. I’m working class and very proud of it. And very left wing and it’s an absolute disgrace that we have food banks in this country. Dubai is not the real world, it’s a fantasy land built on the blood, sweat and tears of the exploited. Do some research into how your utopia was built and paid for.

{Ed001's Note - it is far from that, it is not what you think it is. You are not allowed zero hour contracts here, for instance. There is a lot less exploitation going on here than ever there has been in the UK. Typical of the ignorant to come out with this crap when they are in no position to throw stones at all. You might want to look into history and realise who actually set it up and why it was how it seems you think it still is. Yes, that's right, the British set it up and its government and the laws etc.

There is exploitation everywhere, but, unlike in the UK, the govt here actually looks to change the law to stop it, rather than introduce measures to allow more of it to happen. Funnily enough, the changes have come about with the reduction of British influence and exploitation of the region.

What you see is not what this place is. The tourist ideal to bring in visitors to allow what is in essence just a trading post between east and west to grow into a city that provides for the future. They haven't ever relied on oil, it has always been less than a quarter of their income. Tourism and particularly shoppers are the lifeblood of this place. And that provides huge numbers of jobs for people that then provide for their families back home.

Don't get me wrong, it is far from perfect, there are companies that exploit workers, but it is not legal exploitation like you seem to believe. That has long gone and your kind of comments are based on antiquated ideas, the kind of crap that is just embarrassing in its pure ignorance.

This reminds me of the nonsense that came out about China exploiting their workers because they were paying them only £X a week, when British workers would get 10 times that. What they didn't bother to look into is what a living wage is in China, and that X is enough to look after their family and live well. The biggest problems were companies such as Apple, that did come in and exploit it and employed small children to build their products. However the west still lauded Steve Jobs as some kind of messiah, when he was building a fortune off the back of child slave labour.}
