Evening guys. What's everyone's thoughts on Yilmaz? I know he hasn't had a good run yet but I don't like the look of him.

I think yilmaz will go on to be a terrific left back and was starting to show how good he was, by getting a run in our team of late ?I rate him and personally didn't want us to sell him, but i understand why we're selling him, as he didn't settle in scotland, so good luck to him ?.

He’s playing for a move imo.
No coincidence he’s never looked so good - I suspect he goes this month. I don’t think he ever wanted to be here.

I think he is a cracking wee player. I'll be disappointed if he leaves, because I think there I a lot more to come from thus young lad. The names talked about as potential replacements for Barasic or yilmaz don't excite me although most bar doig are unknown to me to be fair.

He’s been here 18 months and never showed it consistently, starting to show? He’s had a couple of decent games since Barisic got injured, never been first choice left back for the last three managers we have had.
Always going to take a loss on this one.

My thoughts are that I like Ridvan and I would t want him to move, but it seems he has suitors and there are options out there who may not be as expensive to replace him. Like Smal for example who is into the last 6 months of his contract.
I suspect we are moving Ridvan to generate funds to go and buy a goalscorer. A good left back won’t be the difference in winning this league, but a good goalscorer will be and if selling Ridvan generates the money to go get a top striker target then so be it.
At least that’s what I hope anyway.

Can see him having a decent career but tbh he's far from the finished article his passing at time is horrendous and I echo the opinion that he's not fully settled and committed so best he's moves on.

I think Yilmaz is a very good player great balance good speed puts in a very good cross I’d like him to stay but and if it’s true what I’ve seen on here about him not settling in Scotland then I understand why we would sell but I like him as a player.

I think he’s looked decent the last few games and would like to see him stay in the team for a longer run of games. Wouldn’t sell unless he wants away.

The boy's never had a run of games to settle properly. Once he finds a club where he can rack up some games a find consistency he'll be a great wee LB like SWSObe said.

Scotty I really don't want GIO to leave . Really worried about the calibre names that have been mentioned as his potential successor. We got to europa final, qualified for CL and are 2nd in the league. Surely we should be happy with where we are? I know we have had a tough few weeks but I thought we did well against Napoli albeit in the end it wasn't a great result but we were playing a good side with 10 men. The UTD game wasn't brilliant either but we got the 3 points. I still see enough that we should stick with him. Thoughts?
