To be fair to Cantwell don’t think he should have been subbed off as soon as matondo and Wright came on for silva and Cantwell I thought we were doomed
Pc uncharacteristically got subs wrong today except sima as dessers was awful did not press or show desire to win anything dessers just goes with the flow and had no real passion this is why he will fail
That and always taking too many touches should have first timed the the shot from the Cantwell cross.

If I’m honest I just don’t think he does enough, puts in a 30 minute showing occasionally but for the most part is lightweight., I don’t think he would be missed. TBF that applies to anyone in the first team.

The guy has loads of talent but fails to turn up for games. I do believe he is like the way Silva is and needs the better talent to play off of. Attitude whys he doesn't take any notice of authority and I feel the way it's heading is on borrowed time. I always remember the way he explained his admiration for MB and his little coffee dates with him.

Tbh John I thought taking off Cantwell was a mistake. At times PC substitutions baffle me. I know he has inherited Beales duds but he has also brought in a dud in silva and the jury is still out on diomande. The difference today was they signed a goal scorer in January and we signed an expensive winger/ diver. PC has had a few cracks at them now and failed every time. For me Cantwell should have stayed on the pitch as he was our only natural CAM.

Cantwell has always annoyed me. There's a player there but his heads too full of rubbish. I'd like to us get some money for him in the summer.

I think if we had more with the desire Cantwell shows then we’d be fine.
The squad is badly assembled, the board a shambles in a footballing sense and Clements last 6 weeks are horrendous.
If he loses the first OF game next season then he’ll struggle to hang on. I have serious doubts!

I think Cantwell has ability no doubt but maybe he gets too involved in other things that he shouldn’t. Maybe looses focus at times. Honestly get impression he gets under pc skin.

Said it many times, he'll leave Rangers for the same reason he left Norwich and that's nothing to do with talent.
He's certainly a talented footballer, though he doesn't do enough with it for me, but he just doesn't have it between the ears. Never has had and at 26 he no longer has the excuse of being a young player who needs to grow up. He should be coming into his prime, but his mindset is going to see him a League 1, bottom end Championship player in England or moving somewhere like Turkey.
I've been saying since January I would sell him if any decent offer came along. I just don't like him. The way he carries himself, his "all about me" attitude and his lack of performance to back it up. His numbers are worse than Hagi. I'm not advocating for Hagi, I think we need better, but at least Ianis is about the team, not himself and is likeable for the output we get.
