Katic is exactly what we miss at set pieces at both ends.
One the reasons I fancied porteous aswell.
That ships sailed but we need a fast technically good passing type and a solid aerial threat.
We need both types as a new pairing.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing fellow bears and we probably got rid of nico katic too quick ? There's one thing about the big fella he was superb in the air and no opposition player could bully him ? He was a rough diamond we should have kept and polished up ?He probably would have been clement's cup of tea, as he likes a big physical, imposing centre half ? Unfortunately that ship has now also sailed and i wish the big fella all the best and he still loves the rangers and didn't want to leave us ???.

No he's not, Katic can't trap a bag of cement. His passing is terrible. Only thing he can do is head the ball.
Soutter is by far the better the player.
