Koppens driving the recruitment bus.
Clement clearly stated he's no involvement with signing players for us, he manages and trains the team along with Van der heyden.
That stupidity ended during beales era.
We have DOF and one that has proven track record of recruiting talented young players, see PSVs rebuild for reference, Koppen was driving that bus too, and we got see first hand how succesful that rebuild was, when they made us look like a division 3 side.
Have patience it won't happen in one season or two, likely 3 to get us to PSVs current level, best side in Holland now, Ajax have been dethroned.
Eventually Celtic will be too, be even sweeter when we do it for much less than they're squandering :)

Gadji I think mccrorie is making a mistake. If Butland gets injured he could take over and never look back.
Look at McGregor when letizi got injured.
We were willing to sell shagger to Dunfermline and they couldn’t come up with the £300k asking price so he stayed and never looked back.
I feel it’s exactly same with mccrorie. He would see off mcglaughlin no problem so he should sit tight this season and re evaluate next summer.

We had 6 keepers listed with the B team last season and Hogarth out on loan add Graeme Smith the coach recently retired and younger than McGregor it would appear we don't know much about assessing keepers, so if M/ well want a couple and some money for Kelly we might be able to sort that. Though he had a few howlers last season but we might put that down to what's in front of him, can't see McCrorie going there for the wages he would be on.

CallamR Beale has told mcglaughlin he will be no2 next season that’s why mccrorie has said he wants to leave.
Can’t fathom it myself mate but apparently that’s what’s been said and done.
For me mccrorie should be no2 and given guarantees of 20 games a season if we stay in the cups obv if not his numbers come down.
Mcglaughlin we should let go for £250k if we can n if not I’d say he’s free to find a new club.
Mccrorie had a point here he’s never put a single foot wrong for us, I was unconvinced at Aberdeen but he’s always looked more than sound with us.

Think it was a very wise move bringing balogun in just now so we know we have cover in defence who needs no time to settle no hassles or worries, trusty may well come in on loan with first refusal at a higher price as £2m sounds too cheap to be believed
Panzo may well come in a swap for bb I think I heard that said previously .
We may see Davies sold now that balogun is in the door and use that money to fund the other defender whoever it will be.

At first I wasn’t sure what to make of the Balogun signing, however the more I think about it and read that it wasn’t just a knee jerk reaction and was planned in order to let King go out on loan the more it makes sense.
I believe we will sign another left sided CB regardless and if Davies is moving on a replacement for him.
I do feel we need to sign a quality LCB ASAP though.

Stevie it varies from deal to deal, some the club pays, some the club arranges for the players and others the players sort themselves. The guys signed on long deals, particularly from abroad generally get their first year paid by club as a minimum. I know club covered Alfies rent for his full contract but Kent only got 1 year paid by club.

Nicely into next round, back home, 3 goals none conceded. All round happy day for us.
A few things on the game, Jefte's explosive running power from standing still to full sprint is impressive and his all round game will only get better, what a steal ?
Barron is very good BUT just feel he needs a mentor alongside him. Someone like Hemdani or Davis (if only) but that mold of player someone to take the load off.
Soutter playing with confidence and hope he can form a partnership with Propper who for me still needs time to settle in and find his feet.
Bajrami just needs games think we will see him come alive in Europe. Same with Igmane and probably put Cortes in there also.
Big Dessers like him or not he was good today along with Lawrence. And his second goal was a thing of beauty.
As I say happy days all round, let's build up momentum now.
Tough game ahead v malmo but very winnable tie if we show up.

Alot of fans looking passed Dundee Fc and already onto Malmo.
The Dundee game won't be an easy game. We need to take care of business on what will be a emotional atmosphere as its our homecoming.
Dundee are a solid hardworking team and we must take them seriously. Yes we should be handling them with ease IF we play the way we know we can. But it's very important we respect them.
I'm excited as the next Bear about Europe. But let's just handle our Domestic game first.

Happy to get the points in what could've been a tricky tie.
A little annoyed at the drop off in intensity because first 20 mins we looked really good.
Why did it go flat?
A couple of decent performances Jefte, Soutter and in spells Lawrence who looked our main threat.
And without getting carried away about his performance from the bench I thought wee Hamza was a breath of fresh air. His close control was very good and he looked sharp. Be interesting to see this wee guy in full flight.

The problem is not the manager, the problem is the Board. They are not interested in taking the club forward, what they want is to make a profit on the pittance that they originally invested.
There are parties that have indicated an interest in Rangers but they are not going to pay over the odds for a Business that is in free fall.

I’ve kept saying it even before today the fans won’t accept getting well beaten by that mob time and time again, he has inherited a rubbish situation and fans know that but if they don’t see some improvement or heart in the team then the manager will carry the can.

Feels like an eternity since see saw the boys walking out at Ibrox. It's going to be special, let's hope we can produce the goods.
Be a shock for Propper and the other new lads. They've heard the stories and probably saw highlights but there really isn't anything like a packed Ibrox, what a buzz it'll be.

Would love to see Hamza start but just think Clement being cautious with him. But the boys exciting for sure.
Tom Lawrence has arguably been our most dangerous player at times but 2 games a week for him concerns me.
Not been overly impressed with Cortes but think he'll come good when he's at full pelt and playing with confidence. Maybe use him in this one along with Hamza as impact players when game stretched.
I hope we can give the whole Rangers family a big lift being back home with a strong performance. And all players come through it unscathed.

We did everything we possibly could to trim wage bill and move on those not required. Some turnaround of players.
The lad from Holland is well known to Nils and I really like the look of Bajrami who comes with a glowing endorsement from Sergio Porrini who worked with him with the Albanian national side, so looks like good business added to the players we already brought in during preseason and earlier in the window.

I see Carter vickers might be out. An inform Dessers against a weakened back 4 could help us.
Need everyone to turn up tho and decisions to go our way but it's possible. We just need to keep back door shut and hopefully get a tune out of Matondo and Cerny on the break away.
