Apparently were paying 24K a week for defoe with Bournemouth paying 80% of his wages.

13 Aug 2018 20:22:33
rangers meet £750,000 asking price for lafferty, to be unveiled in a couple of days.

1.) 13 Aug 2018 20:48:27
Where's e this info from? Hope so will do the job.

2.) 13 Aug 2018 21:26:43
I'll believe it when he's standing at the training ground wearing our top holding a scarf above his head. Until then.

3.) 13 Aug 2018 21:43:20
Kylel1872, where are you getting this info from regarding lafferty? I just can't see for the life of me, rangers paying 750k for kyle lafferty!

4.) 13 Aug 2018 21:47:52
Not that it makes any difference to this story but I seen him at silverburn shopping centre about 3pm today. Just along way for him to go for a Nando’s.

5.) 13 Aug 2018 22:03:23
I read some supposedly reliable twitter source said it had been matched this morning and wouldn’t be unvailed during week. Never heard of the guy before so who knows.

6.) 13 Aug 2018 22:09:05
To be fair james i have seen him in east kilbride loads of times, he probably just doesn't fancy shopping in Edinburgh.

7.) 13 Aug 2018 22:10:25
He goes to silverburn regularly mate. My mate has met him there a couple of times!

8.) 13 Aug 2018 22:14:48
His girlfriend is from East Kilbride James not far from Silverburn. I personally think this one will be done soon.

9.) 13 Aug 2018 22:22:36
Supercoopereleven 750000 for Lafferty is better value than 2 million we paid for pena.

10.) 13 Aug 2018 22:36:56
James he stays in EK so it's closer than Edinburgh.

11.) 13 Aug 2018 22:43:28
James, he doesn’t live in Edinburgh mate. Think it’s Thorntonhall he lives.

12.) 13 Aug 2018 22:50:23
SirStruth? Where is he getting the top?

13.) 13 Aug 2018 23:36:34
i believe lafferty will be a bad signing. i think he would do rangers more good staying at hearts getting points from celtic aberdeen hibs. rather than sitting on our bench against celticaberdeen hibs. think outside the box people. we need more rangers supporting players at these clubs that will give celtic a fight.

14.) 13 Aug 2018 23:55:12
Jordy15, you may have seen Lafferty in East Kilbride because that's where he resides.

15.) 14 Aug 2018 00:20:45
Hope Lafferty done deal. Might force us to field 4-4-2,

16.) 14 Aug 2018 02:23:45
3-5-2 is allegedly Stevie G’s favourite formation.

17.) 14 Aug 2018 05:49:23
6 counties, of course 750k for lafferty would be better value than 2million quid for Pena! That doesn't mean to say that paying hearts 750k for lafferty is value for money, because in my eyes it ain't! I still have doubts that rangers will pay 750k to sign him! We'll just have to wait and see.

18.) 14 Aug 2018 10:30:11
It appears the Wallace swap deal is def dead. I can’t see us spending £750k on Laff and would expect a deal of around £500k with small add ons (if we win league or he scores X amount of goals) . He’s tried and tested in this league, knows the club and it’s expectations, Rangers through and through which I know doesn’t mean it will be a success but def helps. It’s a no brainier for me!

23 Apr 2017 09:24:28
Just read that Ryan Jack has REFUSED to rule out a move to us in the summer despite mcinnes insisting he had. that to me suggests there is some truth to the rumour, people seem to think he couldn't bring anything but from what I've seen he runs there midfield and has a bit of dig which is just what we need.

1.) 23 Apr 2017 11:21:48
Watched the game yesterday and the game against us and to be honest he done nothing in both games to merit a move. Hardly a stand out in my opinion. Better quality required.

2.) 23 Apr 2017 11:22:27
Would prefer dorrans

3.) 23 Apr 2017 16:29:03
For a freebie reckon he ll be worth it. If and when rossiter is fit reckon he ll play that role and make it his own with jack as cover

4.) 24 Apr 2017 16:05:59
remember the manky mob have had their number all season and even when we got beat off of them we have been the better team every time we have played them so i wouldn't say he would add anything to our midfield but since toral and hyndman are on their way back out thenjack could be a good signing but in my honest opinion he isn't better than what's here already and that is what we need right now better players better quality.

07 Apr 2017 17:08:43
Heard from a guy at my work who works in the main entrance at ibrox every week, that Jamie Walker is always there when he can and that there's talk of a move to us in the summer. Personally think he's a great player and would happily take him into the current squad which let's face it isn't that great.

1.) 07 Apr 2017 18:13:15
I would love it to be true but can't see it happening. My flatmate is personal friends with Walker and I have been asking him about any potential move.

2.) 07 Apr 2017 18:28:11
is Walker not a Hearts man?

3.) 07 Apr 2017 20:47:38
Walker is a jambo through and through get real

4.) 08 Apr 2017 08:21:08
really don't get why people make up stories, we are going through a hard time stop giving anyone false hope.

next year is ours!

06 Apr 2017 10:53:47
Heard from a pretty well informed guy that Kenny Miller is Kilmarnock bound at the end of the season.

1.) 06 Apr 2017 15:24:49
Fingers crossed!

2.) 06 Apr 2017 16:29:26
if kenny miller is not offered another year we should be going out our to find him another role at the hopefully around the youth set up a model pro whos attitude and work ethic is a perfect example to youngsters tryin to make it at our club

3.) 06 Apr 2017 19:46:44
He wants to keep playing.

4.) 06 Apr 2017 20:47:51
Hope your having a laugh or your a Kilmarnock fan Ronny, if not, that's pretty disrespectful. Kenny has been one of our best players this year, even at his age. He is also a great role model for our youngsters.

Even IF we manage to get a really good striker in the summer, I'd still like to keep him on board to help the youngsters, and come on from the bench.

5.) 06 Apr 2017 20:49:51
If kenny miller doesn't get a new deal with rangers, then he'll end up signing for hibs! I really hope and think kenny deserves a new 1 year contract with us! It would be a mistake not to give miller a new deal!

6.) 06 Apr 2017 21:29:04
Kenny said he will end his career with hibs but not really sure we would want him

7.) 06 Apr 2017 23:13:08
Camoo, the problem is that the team has been so poor this season that average players like miller and hill have been made to look better than they are. If we are going to improve and get closer to celtic next season then i'm sorry but players like kenny miller simply aren't good enough and it appears that pedro feels the same since miller has not been offered a new contract!

8.) 07 Apr 2017 13:19:08
I know that he shouldn't be one of our better players Ronny, but he has been, and he would run through a brick wall to win. That kind of mentally has a positive effect on the team that's all.

9.) 07 Apr 2017 14:59:14
He's been rotten, how many goals has he scored?

11 Dec 2018 14:46:03
bringing in Lawrence Shankland is a no brainer for me and they will let him go for 400K which really isn't that much considering players prices. I honestly think he could bang in 20 goals plus for us in a season. Also he is still only 23.

1.) 11 Dec 2018 15:05:22
Is he not out of contract in summer?

2.) 11 Dec 2018 17:15:03
correct mike he's out of contract in the summer and could sign pre contract next month.

3.) 11 Dec 2018 17:42:31
400k is too much to pay Ayr then I that case. For free it's worth a try.

4.) 11 Dec 2018 17:51:21
Have not seen him play so can’t compare him to, but didn’t Nicky Clarke hit goals for fun then struggled in the top league.

5.) 11 Dec 2018 19:11:41
clarke did bang in the goals but not as many as shankland and not as consistant as shankland well worth a punt and he is a bear into the bargain.

6.) 13 Dec 2018 17:13:12
Yes out of contract in summer, wages low in my opinion . But what about guys like hardie, rudden Dallas.

7.) 13 Dec 2018 18:03:55
Queens you're wrong, shankland at Ayr, 52 in 54 games
Clark at QoS 41 in 40 games then we signed him, so they are on a par a goal a game average in lower league.

10 Dec 2018 13:52:38
I will probably get slaughtered for saying this but would Pena if properly managed and able to get to full fitness be the answer to our problem linking midfield and attack I mean he got 5 goals in 14 games for us which isn't actually that bad. Obviously there is off the park issues with the guy but some great footballers have had off the park issues for example Gazza.

1.) 10 Dec 2018 16:55:11
Surprisingly I think you are right. Pena may just be that missing link to help Arfield secure a proper attacking midfield option. Both would be great I think together.

2.) 10 Dec 2018 18:36:08
He just didn’t look that interested and there isn’t much you can do with someone who isn’t interested.

25 Oct 2018 16:21:25
Any good bars or coffeeshops in Amsterdam that will be showing the game tonight? Cheers 🇬🇧.

1.) 25 Oct 2018 17:46:07
**** the football, enjoy yourself instead.

2.) 25 Oct 2018 19:00:43
Ask around for this hooker called Veronica. She'll massage your prostate for €150. It was amazing. I little trick I call Veronica's finger. I'd miss rangers in the champions league final for that.

3.) 25 Oct 2018 19:28:38
#ado1985 your team are playing and your on a rangers page HHHMMMMMM #obsessed.

4.) 25 Oct 2018 19:36:45
Actually his team are getting humped, just like the hooker lol.

5.) 26 Oct 2018 08:48:46
Ado 1985 Veronica was a bloke. Did they not
Tell you she was a He “”””” she likes AM and FM
We’re you smoking somthin you shouldent have been.

30 Sep 2018 15:39:51
Shocking today, Is it just me or does worrall look shocking? Watched balls coming in and he wasn't even jumping for the headers, lost his man far too easy! Katic is the better player IMO. We didn't deserve anything from that game, second to absolutely everything, letting the ball bounce instead of attacking it. Simply not good enough!

1.) 30 Sep 2018 15:58:47
Good post.

2.) 30 Sep 2018 16:07:28
Worrall kicked the ball the way he was looking and for a big guy he was consistently getting out jumped. Of eber they make a remake of steptoe and son then we know who can play the Cart horse.

3.) 30 Sep 2018 16:21:33
That game proved today that Katic is best defender at the club. Hope he's never benched again.

4.) 30 Sep 2018 16:22:39
Just back home from that disaster today.
We didn’t deserve anything from that game as we were absolutely shocking.
The big boy Worrall isn’t good enough how many times did he lose his man at set peices.
There wasn’t a pass mark in that team today. We were second to every ball, and when we had the ball we didn’t move it quick enough. There was no penetration from midfield. I can’t see how Morelos and Lafferty can play together that is now the three times they have, fir park, park head and now today and we have dropped points at all three.
Another thing we need to weed out those persons who bring shame on our club by throwing objects at the linesman. All they are doing is tarnishing our name.
Next week is now a must win game.
Let’s hope Stevie G can get them up 4 it or we could be 11 points behind by this time next Sunday.

5.) 30 Sep 2018 16:51:15
Katic is a really good defended, but as far as i'm concerned connor goldson is the best defender at rangers, bar none!

21 Sep 2018 10:05:23
How people can still sit and slate Andy Halliday after last night is beyond me, the guy had a pass percentage of 91% last night which is the same as Santi Carzola. He made 3 successful tackles and 2 successful interceptions.

1.) 21 Sep 2018 10:40:20
Really? your going to compare his performance to cazorla? He wasnt bad but calm doon .

2.) 21 Sep 2018 11:52:41
Did you see what he done near the end when he had plenty time and space to pick a pass? He booted it out the park and gave it back to them.

3.) 21 Sep 2018 12:12:26
Frustrated blue what i am stating is fact they both completed 91% of their passes last night? don't understand what's wrong with stating fact. Another fact half of the morons getting on at Halliday are only doing so because others are. I will admit when Halliday or any other player for that matter plays poorly i'm also very critical but when players are getting slated for a good performance that's just shocking, people wonder why players struggle coming to old firm teams its because here you can't make one mistake without getting slaughtered. Blue89 i completely forgot every single player must play a full game making zero mistakes, I've seen Ronaldo completely mess up skills, difference is where Ronaldo has played the fans want to see you do well so will continue to support him, whereas here you misplace a pass and your own fans turn on you.

4.) 21 Sep 2018 12:23:52
Kyle surely you know by now that certain posters on here pick a player, one of their own players, and said player can do nothing right. Halliday had a GOOD game last night did he not? Over to you frustrated.

5.) 21 Sep 2018 13:10:02
The fact that folk feel the need to constantly defend him shows he’s not rangers quality and they have a soft spot for him just because “he’s rangers through and through”.

6.) 21 Sep 2018 13:23:39
Also facts that although same passing percentage carzola strolled the game and made 10 times the amount of passes. Crazy to even compare. I wasnt bothered about halliday playin last night. Really don't rate the lad. But i really feel the league should be are main focus. I think mid 3 on sunday be coulibaly arfield jack if fit if not the dorrans.

7.) 21 Sep 2018 14:01:47
Halliday does not need anyone to defend him but on this forum where even after a good result people, who say they are fans, are determined to slag him off hence people putting up an alternative opinion. Our results this season have been better with Halliday IN the team.

8.) 21 Sep 2018 14:27:22
Blue89 i'm defending the guy because IMO he hardly put a foot wrong yet he seems to get some amount of stick. You have to give credit where credit is due and i thought he put in a good performance. I wasn't saying halliday is the same class as Cazorla because that is ludicrous i was merely pointing out the fact they both successfully completed 91% of their passes. The wider point i am making is that every little mistake tends to get picked up on and amplified, when in reality everyone makes mistakes and has bad games it doesn't help in any way to sit and belittle them. Confidence is a must for any footballer and i can only imagine what your own support slaughtering you can do to your confidence.

9.) 21 Sep 2018 14:45:58
Absolute embarrassment people can't just applaud the guy. He was outstanding last night.

It's that bad people are bringing up the time he put the ball out of play. Do you realise it's Andy Halliday playing against the team that finished 5th in La Liga?

He was one of our best players last night,

Also, has nothing to do with him being 'Rangers through and through', most people wanted him gone after last season but have now given him credit where credit is due, as he has massively improved his game under Gerrard.

10.) 21 Sep 2018 15:01:03
How many key passes did he make? out of his 91% how many were back to centre halfs or keeper? Comparing his performance to cazorla is just daft cazorla ran the show. I don't hate halliday he's simply not good enough if we want to kick on.

11.) 21 Sep 2018 16:14:21
But we have kicked on with him in the team. So.

12.) 21 Sep 2018 16:15:00
You're right, Frustrated Blue, you're not allowed to say the slightest thing on here as you are immediately branded a 'hater'. Halliday had a decent game but comparing him to Cazorla is stupidity on a different scale. That's actually doing Halliday no favours whatsoever. I notice the statistic about unforced errors (Halliday 5 Cazorla 1), wasn't included, but there you go. Under Gerrard, Halliday has had a new lease of life, going from a busted flush to a decent hand. He knows he will be a squad player when everybody is fit and that's as it should be. As a supporter, Halliday will know that the day he isn't even being considered it will mean Rangers have improved beyond his ability level and will accept that. Good on him, he's a battling Rangers man who did well last night, but he's not the future.

13.) 21 Sep 2018 16:29:17
Your spot on frustrated. Every pass he makes is side ways. Folk saying he was outstanding are getting carried away. He done ok but let’s not go overboard and start saying he’s better than he is. His best game was when he played left back against Maribor.

14.) 21 Sep 2018 18:47:17
Halliday hasn't put a foot a wrong in any game he has played this season, solid performances in every game. Yip he isn't the most gifted and I have gave him plenty of stick before but credit where its due, halliday is doing just fine👍.

15.) 21 Sep 2018 20:10:27
I never said he had put a foot wrong. He's been fine n done a decent job every game he's played, can't not flag it up when someone compares his performance last night to santi cazorla because they had the same pass success %. Cazorla probably had 20x more touches of ball n ran the whole show never saw halliday pass it forward once I donthink think?

16.) 22 Sep 2018 07:21:51
FFS he’s not comparing Halliday to corzola what’s so difficult to understand. Listen, a don’t for 1 minute think he is a world beater but the fact we have a manager who was one of the greatest midfielders of our generation thinks he can do a job as a SQUAD player is good enough for me. The biggest problem for me is after a fantastic result folk are still on here slating our players. Get a grip man.

17.) 22 Sep 2018 10:28:56
Nobody slated him. The op posted first before anybody said anything about halliday, and he did compare there performance if you don't think he did u need to read the post again. Halliday is a hslf decent squad player who can fill a few positions, nothing more nothing less. He gets my support but in my opinion were a better team when he's not in it it's that simple for me.

18.) 23 Sep 2018 14:56:36
In my opinion Halliday is a good squad player to have who can fill in for Jack etc when they are injured.
But credit where credit is due - he hasn’t let the side or more importantly Gerrard down when he has been called upon.
So the constant criticism of him ( and others like Windass before him ) I just don’t understand. Whoever is lucky enough to pull on the famous blue jersey gets my 100% support. 🔴⚪️🔵.

Looks like a Dele Alli sort of player. Wouldn't be the worst signing. he was playing professional football when he was 13 years old so he must have a bit about him.

Yes they are pre contacts, heard that we were going to try and arrange a compensation package with Kilmarnock so Jones is available straight away, although Steve Clark has said he would rather lose him in summer for nothing than let him leave in January for cash.

Agreed, apart from the "Past is the past" when talking about Wallace sorry but what has the man done apart from be an excellent servant to our club, he spent years with us in the lower leagues when he could have easily gotten game time else where with a club who at the time were in a better league and playing far better football. The treatment of Lee Wallace by both the club and fans honestly disgusts me.

If Kent is fit I say stick him in ahead of Middleton, I love Middleton and think he is a tremendous talent but you need to protect the youngsters. We have a lot of games coming up, rest the boy for this one. He also has a lot to learn about playing off the ball, he's great on the ball and takes his man on well but off the ball at times he is out of position and gets caught out, but that will come with game time and as he grows up.
