Absolutely agree with you Jackson Rfc. Steven davis was superb for northern ireland tonight and ran the show against the rep of ireland! Watched the game like yourself mate and northern ireland by far the better team and should have won, no doubt about it!

steven davis wld be a massive upgrade to our current midfield he’s technically 1st class still very fit and wld keep hold of the ball for us all day long whilst able to open up defences

Hahah he hasn't even been playing much for southampton. He would definitely come back if he got the chance he'd be the 1st midfield on my team sheet if he came bk.

I think that if Davis came back there would only be positives. If like some say he can't play every game that's fine because he would still be able to play quite a lot of games and even when not playing we have a good number of midfielders who can fill in, Not to mention that the younger guys can learn a lot from just watching him in training and playing along side him on match days. He also knows what playing for Rangers means. Fact is we need a guy who can play that killer pass, Davis could be that man.

Ah I see :) . Only ever seen the lad play a few times, a couple of those when he was on loan at Raith Rovers. He struggled for a regular start for them though.

Really do hope our manager steven gerrard stays at least his 4 years at rangers. I truly believe he'll build something special here with us! We can't keep changing managers everytime we have a wee run of bad form.

That will never allow us to build, which of course does take time, especially where we've come from! Given time, stevie G will take us there IMO. We now need continuity and stability, within the full structure of our club, more than anything else! We just can't afford to keep ripping it up and starting again, budget wise as well as football wise.

I really do think we've got the correct management team in place, along with the perfect structure, going forward! Every ex celtic minded pundit out there has their say on OUR MANAGER steven gerrard and how long he'll stay or last at ibrox (no surprise there), amongst the obsessive lot!

ED, could you please run a poll for me, amongst OUR supporters on here, as to how long our manager is likely to stay within his 4 year contract? The poll should read, how many years will Steven Gerrard stay as rangers manager, ie.1 year,1-2 years,2-3 years,3-4 years, his full 4 years, or over 4 years? Cheers ED, would be much obliged mate!

Thing is Coop we have an identity again, we have a structure and a way of playing and a certain calobre of player at the club.
SG and his crew have installed this to our great club so whenever SG does move on we have the foundations to build.
Over the past few years we have seen players come in that’s are no where mere good enoug!

Yeah Coop he’s the right man for the job and in my opinion is doing an excellent job. He took the opportunity at our club when many others would have and did bottle it! No doubt about he sees himself as Liverpool Manager one day and I hope he achieves this but I reckon he may also manage abroad before this? It really is magical when you look over at the dugout and Steven Gerrard is standing there and sometimes it takes a double look😀 I reckon he always knew how big a club we are but he has taken the club to heart and I can only wish him the best in his managerial career 🇬🇧.

Agreed guys we know what kind of person steven gerrard is and that is loyal, hard grafter and tries his best to do what he says he going to do i think all things go well he will stay at rangers and see out his contract 🇬🇧🇬🇧.

Steven Gerard could have made a lot more out the game by joining chelsea but decided to stay at Liverpool till he had achieved something and he did in winning champions league . He will do the same at Rangers i'm sure. He's here to do a job and he will succeed and will stay as long as necessary . Fully believe he will manage Liverpool in years to come. Great signing and will be great manager .

If Gerrard is fortunate enough to get his dream job at Liverpool then it means he will have been a huge success at Rangers. Win, win in my eyes.
