Top away support in the UK this season. 97283 follow followers at 19 away matches 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

23 May 2017 10:35:06
Great. Do we get awarded another star on the jersey for that?

23 May 2017 12:28:25
Away supporters in England are restricted, ie say Man. Utd away to Sunderland, Utd. would only be allowed 5-6 thousand tickets, whereas when Rangers go to Kilmarnock they would get between 8-9 thousand.

24 May 2017 16:49:37
doesn't matte most of the time we have more fans at home games than most of the EPL their support isn't going to games because their ticket prices down south are getting ridiculous.

but either way i'd say only man u have a bigger worldwide support than both sides of the old firm.

stamford bridge home to the champions only holds like 45 thousand or something like that but they don't need fans as the tv money more than makes up for it

22 May 2017 19:57:49
1st place has to be the target. leicester city won the premier last year have faith troops.

22 May 2017 20:21:46
No wonder we are getting laughed at across the city

22 May 2017 20:43:08
Whats your targets for us then chic green? hopefully 2nd place and stop the minks getting 10 eventually? why no go fur top place?

22 May 2017 21:11:30
We don't even know our signing yet they have a side much superior to ours and if you think differently your not being true to yourself

22 May 2017 22:14:36
There team is better than ours atm but some of the names knocking about would significantly improve our team so y would we not want to win the league y settle for second best

23 May 2017 00:08:37
Falkirkbear Rangers this season are 3rd best. Aberdeen are second best. Now Rangers were 39 points behind Celtic so that's 13 more wins. So the reason Rangers can close the gap next season is? Come on amaze me.

23 May 2017 02:42:10
For god sake why don't you just hand them the league now . What a thing to say oh they won the league by 30 points this year means they will enjoy the league next year. Fair enough it's likely but you got to see how rotten we have been this year a half decent rangers side would have beaten Celtic a couple of times because this Celtic side isn't anywhere near the standard of teams gone by even in recent seasons likes F Scott MacDonald when he was at Celtic that team beat teams in the champions league and won domestic . . Rangers league and uefa cup final would destroy current celtic team and so on its how far our teams have fallen is really worrying

23 May 2017 13:51:42
Have faith

24 May 2017 08:02:37
When are fans going to realise we we'll be penny pinching again in summer don't be fooled by King and Co saying all season book money will be invested in team nearly every player we have been linked withe is on a free tells you everything we need to know we are years behind other lot and will continue to be until this board spend serious money and i for they don't have it then be honest with us fans and stop giving us false hope

24 May 2017 16:55:34
johny mac how many points did celtic finish on last year?

how many players did it take to change that?

what was the point difference from their last campaign to this one and how many players did it take to change it.

i will answer for u it took three players and a manager to change their team into the what they are now.

if u want to be negative then so be it mate but don't say we are lying to ourselves because we believe that 4 or 5 players could change us into a winning side.

we are rangers and fans like you will drag our team down expecting second place instead of believing that your team with 4-7 signings could be a lot better than what we have had here for the past 5 years!

i for one believe tat my team will be challenging next season and if we don't win it fair enough but untill then we will be right behind the team cheering them on to win #55

22 May 2017 18:34:58
Now that Moyes has left Sunderland Jermain Defoe is to leave too. Could we grab him for a reasonable fee? Don't know about his wages though!

22 May 2017 18:38:22
More likely he will stay in the premiership

22 May 2017 19:01:26
He is having talks with Bournmouth at the moment, I don't think this would have happened anyway

22 May 2017 19:36:32
Sunderland want 6million for defoe. we need 2 make the most of the free transfers like jack and patterson. save a few quid fur 2 centre halfs and a striker thatl put the baw in the net can't depend on kenny miller again

22 May 2017 19:45:35
He is a free agent. It's a clause in his contact if they got relegated. But it will never happen. He can easily get 50k + a week down south.

22 May 2017 19:46:38
Ha Defoe can leave Sunderland for free. He's looking for a 6 million sign on fee and 100k a week. Seriously What ****in planet are some of you persons living on

23 May 2017 00:16:09
Wilson its the same any time any decent player is on a free. A bunch of Rangers fans on here seem to think that everyone wants to play for Rangers even if they drop £30k to £50k a week. Almost every player in Scotland is trying to get to play in the EPL and people on here think plsyers will give that up to play for Rangers the number 3 team in Scotland. Joke!

22 May 2017 17:36:38
Right bears. on this my own opinion. slay me if you want.

1, wanting old players back. i. e laffeety, naismith, wiess, Adam. good players at their own. would have wiess and Adam back. but not one for players taking a pension.

2, let Pedro bring in his own team. we let that Harry potter hat bring in his. so why not get behind Pedro like we did valdermult ( lol )

3, Pedro not scared to put youth on the team sheet. where most manager are.

4, alves ( great player but old pension player ) jack ( potential and constant ) Patterson ( would love him at the team ) kalas ( don't know nothing about him ) mount ( would be an ok sub )

5, get rid of. Garner. Tav, waggy, holt, hailday, McKay, fod, hill, miller, Wallace, alwick,

let Pedro revamp our team and try more approach to the game. he's one for changing players and style that's what we need.

thoughts guys.

22 May 2017 18:08:40
Foderingham? get aff the glue man. One of our best players this season!

22 May 2017 18:41:42
Fod is a decent keeper no more. If monies as tight as it is then I would keep him as we have other areas in more need of attention. Not sure I would get rid of Wallace either. What I would like to see is the young keeper on loan at Livingston maybe go on loan to a premiership side and see how he goes

22 May 2017 19:45:48
Fifaguys getting rid of both keepers mibi he's hopeing pedro pulls back on the gloves himself lol madness

22 May 2017 19:47:08
Miller? Are you mad, he's a model professional and covers every blade of grass every week. If it wasn't for Miller where would we be today?

22 May 2017 21:50:34
Fod is average at best. No where near good enough to be wearing the rangers NO1.

22 May 2017 22:02:31
Waggy and tav will be here next season fact

23 May 2017 17:45:38
my days another load of rubbish. Miller signed a new contract, PC said Garner will be a key player in attack next season, what's the point in getting rid of fods or even alnwick. Got finance to replace all those players? No

23 May 2017 18:08:17
Why does everyone want wallace n mckay out i certainly dont

23 May 2017 22:12:09
Most of them will be here next season if they refuse to move on, they have 2 and 3 year contracts on decent money, this is the reality of where we are under Mr Kings reign

22 May 2017 16:55:06
Surprised were not getting linked wae boyce fae ross county. top goalscorer in spl. surely better than no goals garner and waggy.

22 May 2017 17:29:20
Give it time and we will be linked with anybody and everybody. I'd prefer Moult over Boyce though

22 May 2017 17:43:22
Just looked at his stats, that's a good shout. I'm sure he's on a few radars. Won't be at County next season with that return.

23 May 2017 17:37:25
I'm suprised aswell but give it time. Who is to say pedro isn't looking at boyce, i'd prefer moult myself though

22 May 2017 16:44:27
I'm glad that season is over. Let's forget about it and move on. My full support is behind the manager, we can't really make judgements until he brings in some of his own players and has a pre-season behind him however short it is.

22 May 2017 18:43:53
The reality is judgements do get made very quickly it's the nature of the business. So far I have to say I've not been overly impressed however as you say let's wait and see who comes in and who goes out and how we start the next campaign

22 May 2017 14:38:57
When can we sign players as we need them in asap.

22 May 2017 14:53:39
6th june or around that date.

22 May 2017 15:37:40
Summer transfer window starts on 9th June in Scotland,70sger but we can obviously sign free agents before then (if there any we'd want) .

23 May 2017 16:05:57
how many players do we need?

id say two cb's (alves / bartley? )

midfield jack and naisy make up those numbers if they come in
at least one more striker and a winger

so i'd say 6 players minimum to get this we will need to let go a few imo waggy, kiernan, halliday, moh, dodoo and windass should all be away as they are not what rangers need .

23 May 2017 16:08:41
oh and a 19 year old with 15 assists and a few goals is not average at all and anyone who thinks he was average then and average now is just looking for someting to say.
he was technically very good and had a great final ball on him and if u saw him last summer and think he still isn't an improvement to our team then u are either bling or expect us to be signing players like aguero

22 May 2017 14:09:58
Just read that toral got booed when he came off against st Johnstone. that's shocking. maybe we would of seen the best of him if he get played in the right position he's an attacking mid not a holding mid.

22 May 2017 14:38:04
I don't think he got boo'd he got a decent reception when he went off.

22 May 2017 14:42:28
Are we supposed to believe the support booed off one of our goal scorers? I head some booing on TV when young Jamie Barjonas was being taken off, but I'm pretty sure that was because the young boy was having a good game and the fans wanted him on the park.

22 May 2017 14:55:14
Was reading it on the rangers page said he got booed

22 May 2017 15:29:23
If that's true its a disgrace

23 May 2017 00:32:30
Caw2, where on the Rangers website did you see this? I've done searches and can find nothing. A whiff of something nasty here.

23 May 2017 09:44:12
I was at the game and he definitely never got booed at all, actually got quite a good reception leaving the park.

23 May 2017 14:35:56
he played ok at holding mid, he was just too lightweight, similiar to zelalem in many ways but probably a better player

22 May 2017 13:33:45
Here is something to think of that is away from the monotony who we will/ won't sign and who we keep/ let go. Had a look at the seasons results and it makes interesting reading. Keeping in mind the no Plan B or so of Warburton we dropped 20 pts to teams that finished in the bottom 6, and dropped 27 to those who finished in the top 6. At worst cut the points lost to bottom 6 to 10pts and top 6 to 18 pts, that makes an improvement of 19 pts over the season. This has to be the least for next season.

22 May 2017 13:04:00
Hi bears with all the thousands of players all over the world and people on here are still talking about Whittaker, lafferty, Adam and all the other ex players they want back at the gers is embarrassing. Sure I would take a couple back only if they improve the team. I hope Pedro has better players in mind.

22 May 2017 11:39:40
If John terry took a huge pay cut, I'd happily take him with Bruno Alves, but our cb pairing would be slow. I think we need a quick cb, maybe bring in Jose abella at rb and mould paterson into a cb. he has all the attributes to be a top cb in my opinion.

I think jack and rossiter will be the 2 holding players. seen a few posting about Miguel veloso. am taking it, but not seen nothing about it myself, but I'd bring in another to cdm incase rossiter can't keep fit on the wings.

Now, I think a major problem for us is where Brenda got it right with Sinclair and Roberts. I like mckay, but no end product. waggy isn't a winger, neither is miller and dodoo is inconsistent.

I think naisy might play wide right if we sign him because he used to play there, but has he still got the legs? so might be suited to playing off a striker. I would like to see us sign McLean. i think he's a good Scottish talent, but he's a cam as well and you have niko if he can keep himself fit.

Also seen and heard about weiss. hopefully at 27 he would be more consistent. Another winger I would look at is aluko. i think he could do us a job as he was decent the first time, but I think the wings is a big one for us.

Another striker I like is Garner, but he doesn't get the right service. if we stick with garner, we need someone quick around him, playing off and that could finish. defoe would be class for that, but would be me dreaming. always thought Adam le fondre would of scored us goals as well.

22 May 2017 11:56:34
John Terry? Are you serious? No way he's signing for rangers. Some of the posts are embrassing on here

22 May 2017 13:49:55
Yeah John Terry will sign i am 100% sure, him and Zlatan Ibrahimovic - I also hear we are avidly chasing to resign Terry Hurlock again, because y'know he once played for us or something

22 May 2017 15:23:49
Another poster high on glue it would seem. John terry. Absolutely priceless.

22 May 2017 17:47:34
Souness

Remember Hurlock having an immense game at the piggery. At one point about 3 or 4 of them were trying to tackle him and Hurlock just steamed his way through. Wish we had the same commitment he had from some of the players

23 May 2017 12:45:46
lol terry!

I don't think patterson if we get him should be moved into cb either as he is good at defending and going forward i'd like to see us get a cb that is already a cb. (bartley would be perfect imo)

naisy if he comes will play behind the srikers i would imagine as that's his spot.

id like to think rossiter will be fit for the whole of the season but we will see.

23 May 2017 12:51:59
John terry won't sign for rangers do put an end to that 1

23 May 2017 15:08:47
I've a good friend who knows john terrys family there saying john Terry doesn't know his next club but he's very interested in getting coaching badges.

24 May 2017 19:28:02
I was only wee but I loved terry Hurlock he wouldn't be 2 mins wae Scott Brown man was hard as nails

22 May 2017 11:35:16
Just a post to say this what I think might happen.

Players out:

McKay, Waghorn, Hill, Senderos, Forrester, Windlass, Kiernan, Toral, Tavernier , Halliday, Moh, Dodoo loan.

Players in:

Sumali, Alves, Abella, Izquierdos, Weiss, Lafferty, Naismith, Whittaker, Danny, Patterson, Jack, Paulinho, Veloso, Henaghan, Moult,

22 May 2017 11:51:30
I'd say players out is correct apart from I think tav will stay and there for we won't sign Whittiker and Paterson tav will be cover for abella and I really can't see us signing lafferty tbh

22 May 2017 11:51:40
15 players in, 7 of them defenders, 3 in the one position. ok

22 May 2017 11:53:28
And I don't think we will sign henigen as with alves izquirdos and sumalia and Danny Wilson we have 4 centre backs

22 May 2017 11:57:31
We will be lucky to get 3 of them players mentioned with our budget. Deluded

22 May 2017 16:11:46
Chic, can you inform us of the budget please?

23 May 2017 12:48:43
sorry southside ger but that's the worst post I've seen on here in a long time and that's saying something.

where are we getting the money for 15 players and why soo many defenders.

i think u have just seen all these players we have been linked with and made up a list of them and made a list up of who is linked to be leaving.

sorry to tell u this much buisness will not be done and half the players on your outgoing list have 2 years left on their contracts.

23 May 2017 12:51:37
There's money there open your eyes season ticket money funding all moves

22 May 2017 07:29:05
Morning Bears. It doesn't make happy reading for us Bears to see Septic plastered all over the newspapers going unbeaten this season in the league, winning six-in-a-row and all the hype by the media. It is still a painful time and the journey has been tough but the real heroes are the Rangers fans who have stuck by the club through these dark years. We need to emerge from the gloom next season and surely there must be some money men out there who can help with the investment required? I'm sick to death of reading all about that lot every day and how well they are doing. It is our turn now. My only consolation is that living in the south of England, I don't have to run the gauntlet of an Septic fans down here as there are few of them! Onwards and upwards.

22 May 2017 09:45:25
I disagree regarding the bit about "money men" We don't want someone to fund our every move, sugar daddies are great until they go screw this I'm losing too much money and walk away. Rangers FC can be self sufficient. Time and patience is required, let's see what Pedro can do. Next year if we finish 2nd within 15 points of Celtic it is a massive improvement, then build upon it from there.

22 May 2017 10:44:09
onlyshowaround. I know what you mean about 'money men' and the club needs to be cautious but surely if your target is to be 2nd and 15 points behind Celtic next season that is very negative? Celtic aren't that good. They've got momentum with Rodgers as manager and without us breathing down their necks. Aberdeen were never going to sustain a challenge. Get some of the quality signings that are being rumoured and we can get much closer than that.

22 May 2017 11:32:26
Doiger to go from 67 points to a potential 91 points in just one season is a big jump. Baby steps mate baby steps.

22 May 2017 10:55:51
it will be back to normal season 17/ 18
Buddy don't worry be happy 😊

22 May 2017 11:10:58
Aiming for second is a joke. Top a the league should always be our target,

22 May 2017 11:54:44
Rangers are in no position to challengea celtic team that has won 34 league games thus season.

22 May 2017 12:23:40
let's wait until they lose a domestic game under brenda before start branding them not that good.

23 May 2017 13:30:22
yes financially we are nowhere near them but that doesn't mean we can't catch them on the park just need the right signings and like I've said time and time again if we beat the rest then its down to the old firm games and if both teams have a winning mentality going into those old firm fixtures then we could have proper old firm games back and the league would be decided in those games. so to clarify we only need to be better than the rest consistantly to be up there fighting for the title instead of handing it to them winners is what we need mixed with a few prospects.
