Caixinha confirmed welcome to rangers.

1.) 11 Mar 2017 18:02:41
What's not to believe it's on rangers. co. uk and ssn

2.) 11 Mar 2017 22:09:26
As a glasgow rangers shareholder and season ticket holder, of over 40 years now, i welcome the 16th manager in our history, to the greatest football club on the planet, the famous glasgow rangers! Welcome to the glasgow rangers family, pedro caixinha! You most certainly have my full backing and in truth, all true rangers supporters, full backing!

3.) 11 Mar 2017 23:37:01
I agree with you 100% well said supercooper 🔴⚪️🔵

4.) 12 Mar 2017 11:07:03
Well said supercooper

5.) 12 Mar 2017 13:01:53
Yeah totally agree, welcome to the famous Glasgow Rangers pedro the 16th.

09 Mar 2017 15:38:14
TV reporting Caixinha given permission to speak to rangers. Some positive movements. 🔴⚪️🔵.

1.) 09 Mar 2017 15:46:22
Just saw that on sky hopefully will sign soon

2.) 09 Mar 2017 15:53:08
It's about time we got some good news

3.) 09 Mar 2017 16:56:50
Would be good to see him at the game Sunday just a see taste of things to come for him ano he won't be in charge for Sunday but hope we get a good result and forever forward

4.) 09 Mar 2017 16:14:27
what u mean given permission? didn't he already have talks with us?

i thought he had agreed terms with us and told us he wants to be in by the monday and just the fee for leaving that other mob

5.) 09 Mar 2017 16:53:19
It actually says on SSN that he has been given permission to become Rangers' new manager. Maybe his presence on Sunday will give the players a lift even if he is in the stand.

6.) 09 Mar 2017 16:32:55
A win on Sunday is good news. Jury out on new manager till we see results signings improvements etc etc

7.) 09 Mar 2017 22:06:22
Has to be given the blessing or permission of the club as he is a member of the royal family. don't play by our rules in that part of the world.

8.) 09 Mar 2017 22:43:54
Has his contract been terminated due to misconduct by talking to another club while under contract? Loop hole to avoid compensation?

9.) 10 Mar 2017 08:57:56
Might watch us get another doing and think "f**k this! " Haha.

10.) 10 Mar 2017 14:30:31
I don't understand why everyone seems so positive about Pedro. was he one of the hundreds of applicants? Was he hand picked? And if so by whom and why? I just don't get it. I'm certainty not excited by this either! rtid

11.) 10 Mar 2017 14:49:31
Hope Pedro deal falls through

01 Feb 2017 21:31:58
Same old same old MW same poor team selection and subs like for like. the man just can't change a game. Haliday asking for ball and losing it with out touching it. Kiernan leaving his man and being attracted to ball. Think it's time for a change.

1.) 01 Feb 2017 21:54:31
Halliday I don't care if he's from the Copland road a don't care if he's a die hard fan, he's not a Rangers class of a player but what is its down to investment, terry butcher got it right where's the 30 million.

2.) 01 Feb 2017 21:57:16
paul Murray was in the stand he was in shock As wel.. Wonder if he speaks to King after this shock.

3.) 01 Feb 2017 22:12:42
Massive change required by the board. Back him or sack him. Either way this evolves massive investment.

4.) 02 Feb 2017 04:38:37
We won't be able to bring in players now until the summer and it is not beyond the realms of possibility that we will fail to qualify for Europe.

There is no character in that team, no fight, no will to win and in general terms we have a team stacked full of failures.

Just to add to the pantomime we have a captain with no leadership qualities and even less ability to inspire those around him.

We suffer Halliday and Kiernan week in week out and the only one that seems to rate them is Warburton.

and. what exactly does David Weir contribute?

The only people making windass's sshhhh celebrations as controversial is the media. I for one don't mind his celebration as he is getting pelters. I agree his performances can be up and down but he has scored some important goals and chipping in with assists. We as rangers fans should just get behind the players.

1.) 07 Feb 2018 18:06:40
People would need to be pretty thin skinned to be offended by such a gesture.

2.) 07 Feb 2018 18:41:00
I really don't think anyone is offended, however it's a massive Insult to the fans who pay their money each week to support the team.

Essentially with his tweets at the weekend and this shows he doesn't have the mental toughness to play for our club. Happy to take the praise yet gets pissed off when he gets criticism then takes it out on the fans. Thanks but no thanks

3.) 07 Feb 2018 20:58:48
I hear you Rab, it does leave doubts if he can mentally handle playing for such a demanding club.
For me the gesture was aimed directly at the people mouthing of about him online and not the Rangers fans as a whole, which is fair enough really.

4.) 07 Feb 2018 21:04:46
I think some people forget he cost 100k not 10 million. Wasn’t offended by his gesture in the slightest. We are so hard to please sometimes. Give the guy dogs abuse then cry like babies at this.

5.) 07 Feb 2018 22:41:27
100% correct SharpshooterPOM . He basically told the fans "Gez peace! " . quite right. He's the whipping boy and it's a joke. Barry Mac was a whipping boy and then the same people complained that we sold him too cheap. Charlie Adam. another whipping boy who went on to play for Liverpool. . gee the boy a break.

13 Jun 2017 20:18:28
Looking on the rangers page and viewing the gallery does anyone know the lad wearing No 59. Probably know him just don't recognise him.

1.) 14 Jun 2017 01:16:56
no sure mate there's no initials on his gear and a don't recognise him either

2.) 14 Jun 2017 06:23:02
Myles beerman, he got his head shaved for the Malta game

22 May 2017 13:04:00
Hi bears with all the thousands of players all over the world and people on here are still talking about Whittaker, lafferty, Adam and all the other ex players they want back at the gers is embarrassing. Sure I would take a couple back only if they improve the team. I hope Pedro has better players in mind.

30 Apr 2017 15:23:29
Not wanting to be critical of Pedro as I know the squad inherited is very poor but you would expect an improvement with a new manager. That's two old firm games and 7 goals leaked going on 20. Hopefully when he signs his own players an improvement and better results will follow.

1.) 30 Apr 2017 15:45:10
Neil McCann yesterday achieved a win for Dundee in his first match after a run of seven defeats under Hartley. Instant improvement.

Since Warbs left we've actually went backwards from a clear second to clinging on to third in the league.

The appointment of PC was a mystery to me and sorry, nothing he has said or done gives me any optimism that we will ever get near Celtic with him in charge.

I know a lot of posters dislike Alex McLeish but does anybody really think that with Alex in charge we would have got things so disastrously wrong in the last two games against our biggest rivals?

2.) 30 Apr 2017 16:14:24
Is Caixinha still employed by Celtic? Nice cosy chats and warm hugs with Rodgers before and after the game and send the team out on the pitch with no passion or determination

3.) 30 Apr 2017 16:34:06
Celtic showed their intent with the appointment of Rodgers, the inept Rangers Board showed their failure with the appointment of Pedro. This is no disrespect to our new manager but to compete with Celtic we needed to go and get a top ten EPL Manager or a top European Manager and then bankroll them to do what was necessary to win the league.

All of the above said there are very good quality players in South America and Pedro could bring in a new spine, goalkeeper, centre backs, hard tackling quality midfield players and a good strong striker. Unfortunately he won't do that with the rumoured £3m budget. He needs 10 times that amount.

It is now time for King and Co to put up the funds or find someone to take us forward. We need someone with a forward thinking strategy not an absentee landlord!

4.) 30 Apr 2017 17:54:07

Now is not the time for King to put up the money.

The transfer window is CLOSED and no point in showing your hand at the moment.
Why does he need to come to the game to prove he is committed? Plenty good bears in USA, Oz, Erskine Hospital who never get to games doesn’t mean they are any the less for it.

If you don’t like King the answer is simple; buy his shares and own the club.

5.) 30 Apr 2017 17:56:25
TOMUSA, same old same old!

Who is that saviour on a white horse that you thing is waiting to give us a blank cheque?

Celtic brought in Rodgers because they knew Dalia was not good enough, but they would not have done it without a sound financial base. they went through pain to get there just the way we are having to.

Do you really think that King and the other board members are sitting on their backsides watching their millions in soft loans disappear for ever?

Just maybe these hugely successful businessmen have a plan?

6.) 30 Apr 2017 20:06:40
I completely agree Naz. McLeish would have been a no brainer for me. It's done now so we just need to get on with it.

7.) 30 Apr 2017 20:21:48
Think we should give Pedro time and I'm glad he came in when he did .
After yesterday's performance he will def know who to keep and what he needs and I'm sure it will be better than what we have.

Think having having Pedro Mendes as a good friend and ex player who loved his time at us will prove crucial. We will see better quality, and also add one or two of the young ones to the squad.

8.) 1 May 2017 11:25:08
Pedro mendez loved his time with us? He did well but if memory serves me correctly he wanted out after 1 year.

24 Apr 2017 10:27:32
We have to remember Pedro is still assessing the squad. He will notice what players are not good enough like Halliday, garner and the others. He will know players that are done well since he came in like holt, miller and the 2 young lads. Pedro will have his own players in mind for different positions and I'm sure no one has a clue who they are. Let's just write this season of as warbuton left a very poor squad and hope Pedro builds a better one for next season

1.) 24 Apr 2017 10:51:54
Scotty, Pedro said he had the best squad in scotland, do you think he was fibbing? 🤔

2.) 24 Apr 2017 11:01:03
He has to get the squad to perform till the end of the season if he told the truth the team would just gave up so yes he was lying and everyone new it.

3.) 24 Apr 2017 12:51:55
I did mention this a month ago that he shouldn't have said that and was slaughtered by a few on here. This comment has made him look stupid and if it was an attempt to gee up the players it's clearly failed

4.) 24 Apr 2017 13:51:43
Iv'e always been a pesemist just my nature i guess but Gers need a complete new midfield and forward line. Hell knows where we're gpoing to get that kinda money.

5.) 24 Apr 2017 14:36:34
Memaself, Pedro didn't say he HAD the best squad in Scotland what he said was, he had to BELIEVE he had best squad in Scotland. Subtle difference. Check the dictionary for the meaning of subtle. Oh a ductionary is a big book that explains the meaning of words. Oh and a book is a something with pages and writing on it. 😂

6.) 24 Apr 2017 21:23:19
Agree with most comments- but beginning to get board with PC already - does he just talk "bullshit"?

7.) 24 Apr 2017 23:10:46
which ductionary are you referring to the ornithology one

I sit behind the rangers dugout and after the pen tav was speaking to Murty. Then Murty turned to the bench and signaled that the turn coat had dived to con the ref. tav was raging

Don’t agree with Murphy as standout didn’t hit the byline much and cut inside to often with no end result. I would have taken Windass of before holt thought Windass was poor but he wasn’t the only one and the ref totally ruined the game allow Hibs to waste so much time and not booking Hibs players for persistent fouling and to quick to book rangers players, morales was fouled when ever the ball went near him, but I think morales needs help up front.

Halliday done ok but still holds on to the ball way to long and try’s to draw a foul instead of playing the pass

Big Bruno was totally useless while Wilson was commanding and he was the one replaced absolute baffling, poor decision making by Murty. Alves played the long ball all day and never hit a blue shirt once. But saying that the whole team played crap.
