Ma wee maw has asked me to ask the site, does anyone know why Chucky wears one long sleeve and one short?

It's really bugging her. I've never noticed myself but she's asked me to ask yous lads so be much apreciated if anyone knows

Cheers πŸ’™

Sounds daft, but a lot of basketball players do it, so maybe he is a fan of it and is copying a favourite player, ie LeBron James, as he does it. Actually think he may have been one of the first to start the trend. It wouldn't surprise me if it was that.

27 Mar 2026 05:53:41
Never actually noticed this, and I've usually got a sharp eye. Have to watch out for it.

27 Mar 2026 06:51:19
I like Chucky but never noticed that.

27 Mar 2026 06:51:26
Maybe he has a really embarrassing tatoo?

27 Mar 2026 06:54:07
It's usually one of two reasons.

1. Support, he may have a recurring muscle injury on that arm - I know he went off against Aberdeen with a shoulder injury. Could be related to that.

2. To cover a recent tattoo or open wound (cut for graze) whilst it's healing.

27 Mar 2026 07:18:37
I noticed this also, and it was a compression sleeve he had on one arm, not a long sleeve top on one arm. Tennis players do this for muscle issues, so most likely an injury, more so than a wound, which would likely be a bandage, and if it was a tattoo he was hiding, he would just wear a long sleeved top with two sleeves the same length.

27 Mar 2026 07:32:22
I was kidding about the tattoo, though it could be true. Compression sleeves help blood circulation and help promote muscle recovery. Possibly, if he's had an injury too, it helps prevent recurrence. He perhaps doesn't like the full under top, so would just wear the sleeves.

Baseball and basketball players use them a lot on their dominant arms too for recovery, so maybe he does this for when he's smashing players out his way. 😜πŸ’ͺ

27 Mar 2026 08:13:50
Can't believe folk haven't noticed that πŸ˜‚ He kicks about with a bare arm and a blue sleeve. Just a trend he's big into Socail media by the look of it.

27 Mar 2026 08:45:36
The same way some of these kids wear their socks so low. To look cool. 🫣πŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺ

27 Mar 2026 08:50:48
He's worn it in every game. Unsure why.

27 Mar 2026 09:08:36
Copying LeBron James, made me laugh, OrangeT. 🀣 Wonder who wee Hatate is copying with his gum shield - Evander Holyfield maybe?

27 Mar 2026 09:14:07
Think Hatate has 2 ears but. πŸ˜‰

27 Mar 2026 11:56:05
He has worn it every game, noticed it on his debut, but don't know why he does it. But loads of basketball players do it.

Maybe it's a ritual thing.

27 Mar 2026 12:08:16
More than likely Naoya Inoue, Big Dado, some scrapper that boy.

27 Mar 2026 13:22:35
Older pics show he was wearing a compression sleeve before he arrived at Ibrox. Could be he's trying to stop an old injury from recurring or he's just looking for somewhere handy to wipe his nose.

27 Mar 2026 15:03:21
Never heard of him, bb4, just said first boxer that came to mind. 😁
Fork, Hatate can't be a fan of Van Gogh then. 😬

27 Mar 2026 15:28:54
Thanks a lot, guys, for responses.

27 Mar 2026 16:23:08
Maybe he's got a Celtic tattoo?

27 Mar 2026 17:58:27
Stevie G, it's so he can see his watch, obviously, why else, lol.

27 Mar 2026 19:10:50
Never seen the movie. 🫨

26 Mar 2026 15:17:24
Just after reading an article written by rino gattuso's pal materazzi saying gattuso absolutely adores Rangers and has told him he'll be Rangers manager one day and is convinced of that πŸ€”

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Mar 2026 15:33:46
I guess that 12 months as a 19 year old was very impressionable.

26 Mar 2026 15:59:29
No thank you. Disaster written all over it. Sure he's had 13 jobs in 12 years.

26 Mar 2026 16:12:49
He ain't the best manager at all.

26 Mar 2026 16:22:16
He is an even hotter head as a manager - press conferences would be priceless - but no thanks, Rino. πŸ˜‰

26 Mar 2026 17:58:27
An absolutely dreadful manager.

26 Mar 2026 18:45:25
We need tactics, not tantrums! Will always be fond of Rino though.

26 Mar 2026 21:51:46
I was just watching him there at the Italy v N Ireland game and he looks like he's been getting extra toppings on his pizzas.

26 Mar 2026 21:52:44
Great midfielder, not so great manager.

27 Mar 2026 05:59:04
Aye, just like the "I'll finish my career at Rangers", he's a terrible manager. He's had more managers jobs than Bonnie Blue has had Boaby's!!

27 Mar 2026 08:37:02
I agree, guys πŸ‘ Gattuso was absolutely for a period the best defensive midfielder in Europe, bar none, but hasn't done well in management. πŸ€” Still have a lot of time for Rino Gattuso, but have to be honest. πŸ€”

27 Mar 2026 13:31:48
Maybe apart from Claude Makelele, SWS, but he was up there for a wee while.

26 Mar 2026 13:34:27
I've seen online a good few media outlets saying theirs a good few teams monitoring Fernandez including man city and Chelsea. Now today I seen another outlet stating Rangers won't let Fernandez leave for less than 40 million. Surely that's got to be b/s.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Mar 2026 14:33:33
900 % ROI. That would do. Hopefully we can make significant profit. That seems way too much though. Happy to be proved wrong.

26 Mar 2026 14:36:52
40 million. That's outDembeling Celtic.

26 Mar 2026 17:21:16
Why not some ridiculous fee down south.
But, doubt very much we get maybe half that. But if someone offers anything over 20m we would be stupid not to accept, as long there is decent % on any future profit.

26 Mar 2026 18:51:21
It sounds ridiculous until you look at some of the donkeys that the EPL clubs fork out mega bucks for. We should not under value our players because what we think is crazy money is not to these type of clubs.

26 Mar 2026 19:19:57
Agree, WSL, seen it's Everton apparently monitoring but interest from Arsenal, West Ham, Dortmund and Leverkusen. Doubt it's a reliable source, but stating we want 40m euros. However, when you look at most CBs in the EPL, is Fernandez any worse? And they fork out some ridiculous amounts of money, so is that money as unrealistic as it first appears.

26 Mar 2026 19:32:29
Peterborough would be big winners.

26 Mar 2026 19:56:31
Deecee, we will be the biggest winners not Peterborough.

26 Mar 2026 20:03:01
Of course we are, but in relevant terms they have a nice percentage of the sell on. They would be very happy.

27 Mar 2026 07:02:15
Aim high for fees then compromise - way of the world - great to have talent that other teams covet for a change - good times ahead folks. πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ˜

26 Mar 2026 12:38:28
What would u prefer?
Djiga 4 years, 8 million pounds

Doehki 4 years, 2 million euro. signing on fee spread over length off contract.

Agree6 Disagree0

26 Mar 2026 13:55:52
I'd prefer both, I'm not really an 'or' guy.

26 Mar 2026 13:58:52
Given the investment required to further improve the squad, as well as starting eleven, I would go with Doehki.
He is a very good, experienced defender who would be a leader on the field.

I think Djiga is continuing to improve, but that we would get better value from Doehki (on the park).

26 Mar 2026 14:10:36
I would prefer Doehki to be honest, John. I don't know if he will come tho.

26 Mar 2026 14:14:01
We can't have both, and Fernandez, it's not viable, so between the 3 options I think I'd sell Fernandez for Β£20m rising to 25.

I'd sign both, and that's the pairing.

And we're in profit.

26 Mar 2026 14:15:23
Doekhi all day long. Allows us to invest in other areas needed.

26 Mar 2026 14:22:40
Djiga, because I've not got a scooby who the other dude is, and if Djiga keeps getting better, we will make very good money selling him.

26 Mar 2026 14:50:41
Doehki all day long, John, as someone else said, it allows us to focus attention elsewhere that needs good quality.

26 Mar 2026 15:00:45
Doehki.

26 Mar 2026 15:34:37
If you'd asked me 4 months ago, then I would've given Djiga a piggy back all the way down to Wolves to get rid of him. He's a different player these days, though. So, based on having seen him do well in the league over the last couple of months, I'd have to say Djiga.

Too many players arrive in Scotland thinking it will be a skoosh, so I'd rather go with the tried and tested option as we'd know what we're getting, but that's just me.

26 Mar 2026 15:35:06
Why can't we have both, Steve? Very odd statement. Are we restricted on how many centre halves we can sign?

26 Mar 2026 15:48:08
Doeki for me, although both and sell Fernandez for big money might be on the cards.

26 Mar 2026 15:52:52
Storm, I'm told Doehki wants to see if we make CL group stages. We won't wait.

26 Mar 2026 16:11:20
U can't have both, Dado, because the question was which do u prefer? 😜

26 Mar 2026 16:14:17
I don't think we should wait either. I would say he would need to decide before the end of the season.

26 Mar 2026 16:23:50
Dado, I didn't say we can't have both.

I said we can't have both and Fernandez, as all 3 would and should, expect to be starters.

U want to sign Djiga for 7/8m and Doehki on big doe, then keep Fernandes, who, by all accounts, is our biggest asset.

Who would we be benching Dado??

Be realistic, maybe we can't have all 3 plus Souttar.

26 Mar 2026 17:59:25
Djiga seems to have found his feet, been excellent in recent games. I think he had a bad red, then confidence was knocked out of him. Honestly, if the fee was around Β£4 or 5 million I'd definitely be taking up that option if he would stay. He knows the league, knows the pressures, and it's less of a risk than getting in a new player who may take time to settle or not settle.

Djiga would add some continuity. I definitely think he will get better, and he's relatively quick, which is a huge. If some of the apparent figures are true about Fernandez then he will definitely be away.

26 Mar 2026 17:59:57
Storm end of March is allegedly our deadline.

26 Mar 2026 18:01:55
Stevie, Doehki, Fernandes, Souttar as we gave him a deal and Luke Graham.

26 Mar 2026 19:04:44
'3 should be expected starters', That's why we've won the league once since our return. There's not a player at Ibrox should be expected to be a starter, how about the guy who has burst his guts at training and ran himself into the ground, played well the week before, how about he's the starter and the other guy works even harder than him the next week to get in the team? If either of those 3 (4 if you include Souttar) wants an easy life as a starter then get them out of Rangers.

We should have like for like players on the park and bench, and the first 11 should know (even be scared) that there's as good a player on the bench chapping at the bit to take their place.

26 Mar 2026 19:58:36
I agree Dado, it's up to the players to fight for their place, but no use having two great ch and one ok one. We want the majority of the bench to be starters, then we will have quality all the way through the league.

So we should find out very soon then, John. πŸ‘Œ Cheers for info as always.

27 Mar 2026 00:14:22
John, I'd prefer that as a defence, but from business side of things I think selling Manny for big money would make a lot of sense.

Even at a conservative rate of say Β£15m rising to Β£20m, signing Djiga for Β£7/8 and Doehki dor what u had said earlier makes most sense to me.

I'd be happy with the back ups u mention though.

I think any 2 from the 3 is a very big statement mate.

27 Mar 2026 00:15:20
Dado and Storm, I agree with every word tous say, lads.

I'm just being realistic, is all.

I'd be happy with what yous are want, that's for sure.

27 Mar 2026 04:14:47
If he has to wait to see if we qualify, then I would cancel the potential deal. I don't want half ar&ed players.

27 Mar 2026 04:37:01
Let's see where we end up, Steve, hopefully a lot string in every position, mate.

27 Mar 2026 12:16:31
John, if we have those 4 centre halves at Ibrox for next season I'd be very happy with that, i.e. Fernandez, Djiga/Doehki, Souttar and Luke Graham/Jack Milne. πŸ‘ πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

27 Mar 2026 14:30:03
Out of the 2 young Scottish centre halves at Aberdeen and Dundee respectively, who would we prefer, i.e. Jack Milne or Luke Graham? πŸ€”

27 Mar 2026 15:32:41
Coops, I don't know enough about them, maybe I've really n noticed either to be outstanding when watchin their games, mate.

26 Mar 2026 15:57:45
100% Danilho John

26 Mar 2026 12:00:36
I see that the clubs are all getting together to discuss the situation with the state of the officiating and possibly paying for a better VAR system. Getting a new VAR system is all good and well but it's still going to be the same useless folk operating it so pretty pointless in my view. I would love to see ex players getting trained and employed full time to be referees/officials instead of these part time over paid officials currently in use.

At least ex players have a better grasp of the game and would be a far better solution and give plenty of opportunity for further employment to those interested.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Mar 2026 14:03:32
Three Cheers, the idea is good, but imagine an ex-Celtic player being on VAR for a Rangers game (or vice versa).
Conspiracy theories would go through the roof. Also, when did good ideas ever stand a chance with the SFA?

26 Mar 2026 14:11:55
I was glad to hear we have set up a meeting about 3 cheers, but as you say, it's the same people using VAR. VAR has never been the issue; it's the incompetent clowns using it that's the problem.

26 Mar 2026 14:26:22
I couldn't care less, Boab, what team any of them played for because, if they do their job properly and honestly, then who cares, as long as it's done properly. The conspiracy theories could not be any worse than now, with this current shower of s*** who are in charge.

26 Mar 2026 15:38:03
Three Cheers, you're spot on, mate. The tech is only as good as those using it. Still, howlers in England every week, except from offside, as it's semi-automated.
As for the ex players, think this is a great idea on paper, but too much politics involved, as you'd ideally want someone in each game who has no affiliation to each club, their rivals or an affiliation to anyone close to them in the league.

For example, let's say it was implemented - I wouldn't want an ex Hearts player being that guy in any of our remaining 7 games.

26 Mar 2026 17:33:36
I'm sure I heard the other day in Sco we have 4 cameras for VAR, in Eng they have 24. Extra cameras and tech would improve the angles and decisions thereafter, however, the refs need to improve, again make them full time would improve it. Not a fan of the ex player argument, Micheal Stewart, say no more.

26 Mar 2026 18:02:43
Correct, Tjbb.

26 Mar 2026 21:04:06
Micheal Stewart is always right in his own mind.

27 Mar 2026 04:17:23
I would rather we looked at the possibility of scrapping it, not improving it.

27 Mar 2026 10:41:03
I seldom post, but the suggestion (accepted as a joke) of Michael Stewart officiating would make any of us give up.

26 Mar 2026 11:59:49
Coops I seen you ask about who I wanted to win the epl and you are right I would rather anyone win the league than Arsenal. I like arteta as a player when with us but he done the homesick thing went back to Spain then in a very short time went to Everton.
I also can't stand him as a manager and I ain't a big fan of Arsenal fans either.
I don't like city either but they would be the lesser of two evils for me.

Hopefully Liverpool get rid of slot and get another manager in. who I have no idea and they can be back challenging next season. He won league with slot players and changed it this season and the tactics and it's went downhill fast.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Mar 2026 13:48:36
Come on the Gunners! Been a can of Arsenal since Marc Overmars played there. Then Thierry Henry was my favourite player outside Rangers as a teenager, so I'm all for Arsenal winning the league! The whole about the fans is daft, man, it's all because they have been the banter club down there for so long, and now they are about to change that, and other teams' fans can't stand it.

And their gans are a bit OTT right now after years of being bantered, so why wouldn't they be OTT with it.

26 Mar 2026 14:13:59
The fan think isn't daft in my opinion though, Dr, I have never liked Arsenal fans and that's not just a recent thing. I know we used to have some sort of alliance with them, and having shares in club (small amount) tell Whyte sold them.

Just never a club I have taken to.

26 Mar 2026 14:25:29
Dr, my late dad God rest him followed Rangers everywhere for almost 50 years and his favourite English club was the Arsenal because of the friends he made while going down to Highbury when we had friendlies regularly with Arsenal, ie. one year at Ibrox and the following year at Highbury and so on.

πŸ‘ The friendlies had finished by the time I was born, but my dad had brilliant memories and made a lot of good friends with a good few Arsenal fans due to his trips down to Highbury and them up to Ibrox. πŸ‘ I never followed suit because my favourite English club has always been Newcastle United. πŸ‘

26 Mar 2026 14:49:13
As long as it ain't Spurs or West Ham winning it, I don't mind who wins.

I'd have to say Arsenal though as my family are from the Basque region and would like Arteta to win it for that reason.

26 Mar 2026 15:42:52
Storm, what about Alonso as option for Liverpool? Surely Slot is gone end of season?

26 Mar 2026 17:08:32
Always knew you were a bit of a Basque bbj. πŸ˜„

26 Mar 2026 17:26:41
He may well be an option though I have no idea who it could or will be.

26 Mar 2026 21:58:03
I understand Liverpool are in contact with Alonso and/or his team and if certain criteria are met he will become their new manager.

26 Mar 2026 08:16:11
Well lads enjoy the international break, I'm heading to Benidorm first thing tomorrow so wont' be on, hopefully try and catch the Dundee United game at the Ibrox bar over there.

Not sure Benidorm is ready for me haha.
