I am not a strip buyer or particularly a fan of the orange too thing we do…however as orange football tops go I think it's quite nice.

The timing is honking but what are they meant to do? It's due out and been in production for release now. They'll be due to wear it at some point soon also.

Just happens to coincide with us playing horrendous for a sustained period of time.

25 Oct 2025 14:03:40
My son loves it but his 1st question. Why do we need 4 kits in 1 season dad?
Well son, it's all about how much the club can milk out the fans 😂.

25 Oct 2025 16:01:25
I was going to comment on this but didn't but to get the usual "you don't have to buy it" comments. What is happening at our club is abysmal, the people that sanctions the release and timing of this are so far out of touch,

Having watched the Gers for over 50 years I have endured tough times before, including the other lot's first 9IAR and European cup win.
Even in those dark days we always had a team who competed, who never gave up and who had great Rangers players in their midst.

I'm hoping Danny Rohl can instil belief in the players and give us a team to get behind, rather than a group of players who seem unable to understand what it takes to be a Rangers player. WATP.

100% Boab - I can stand defeats through gritted teeth if we at least put in effort and compete and do basics well - but all these factors have been sorely missed in last how many years🤔There is a minimum standard expected to be a Ranger and all too often we have players past and present who fall well short of that standard when pulling on the light blue jersey.

25 Oct 2025 12:02:15
He needs some real quality additions that are experienced pros.

25 Oct 2025 15:39:19
Good post Boab, unacceptable that we are being out worked all over the park with teams that are quite simply showing more desire.
When I watch us we manage to make the game look difficult, and teams can smell blood that we don't fancy it, far too easy to play against, forget about having so called good players until you are willing to put the graft in.

25 Oct 2025 09:23:37
An average team can win league titles and win matches in Europe.

The point is we don't have a team, we have a group of individuals who think they are better than what they are.

We have a "leadership group" who could not lead a dog.

Celtic are an average team but have won countless trophies because they play as a team.

I think we need to focus on putting a team out that can win domestic games of football.
Forget European football.

Being an embarrassment in Europe has worked for Celtic as it looks clear that they are most likely to be the most successful team in Scottish history.

We used to be the most successful team in the world.
But that has been sacrificed for an enjoyable Thursday night.

Asa, good post, I have always thought that Celtic always seem to play, particularly in the SPL, for the club and more importantly for the support. How many times do they score a 97th min goal it's as if they know they Need to win for the fans. While we IMO seem to not have the same passion as if new players think they've made it when they get to Rangers.

This is why I think we still need Rangers men around the place to remind the new guys what's it all about. Obviously someone had a word with DR about wearing a suit and tie which most of us would be happy with.

25 Oct 2025 09:53:07
Asa I agree mate. We needed European nights for the finances as being top dog in Scotland doesn't really pay domestically. The 3 qualifications for CL that we as a club earned but failed to take advantage of was crazy.

Europe needs to be forgot about and winning in your domestic backyard has to take priority now. As a player coming to this club if you are sold on the idea that it's a stepping stone to EPL etc then individuals will use it as such. They will burst a gut for them not you. Why were we surprised that players turned up on Thursday match days.

Thelwell quote regarding our 8 million player said it all. We are not in a top 4 league yet shopping down south due to restricted knowledge of markets and a club ego. I'll say it again. Our model, our player trading model won't work. We should have had a replacement coming through to replace dessers etc. we were lazy and just bought a 21 year old who is crap. Raskin why is he still here. He should be gone with a replacement already being sourced knowing they can fit our so called style of play.

It hasn't happened again. Someone will else will take over within 3 years. You don't buy a club based on Thursday nights.

25 Oct 2025 09:53:16
I tend to agree Asa,
While I'd still like to enjoy my Thursday nights, we need to prioritise and build the team to win domestic football first and foremost, if we do that the Thursday nights will take care of them selves.

I watched a team of individuals play on Thursday against your Brann team.

I watched the helicopter Sunday video on RTV last night to cheer me up, could take a lesson from that era as that team had leadership and fight for each other, also characters in the dressing room.

Our team at the moment lacks leadership with fight and to play for each other, especially when the going gets tough.
1 or 2 leaders and characters in the dressing room and the desire to fight for each other would go some way to fix the problem.

It's clear why Martin felt the need to do the team bonding exercise, our team are clearly not bonding.

Apologies for the rant,
Good post Asa and I wish your Brann all the best from here on in.

Organisation as we have none, hopefully Rohl sorts this out rapidly, good manager does.

25 Oct 2025 08:45:06
After these performances I keep think drop most of the players then try and name an X1 and look around at options and unfortunately can't see many that should be taking their places. Aarons for Tav? Nope. Cornelius to LB means Djiga and Souttar stay? No thanks. Fernandez? Help. Maybe Nsiala but how much damage has Martin done to him? Chermiti, Danilo, Miovski? Take your pick, probably Mio.

Would maybe like more or Barron Curtis and Cameron but still see them more as subs. Here goes. Butland
Nsiala Cornelius Souttar
Gassama Raskin Barron Antman
Cameron Curtis
Miovski.
Nope? me neither.

Rohl talked about how we don't have partnerships and relationships on the pitch - how we're playing like individuals and when confidence is low individuals regress.

Rather than ripping up the full 11, I expect to see him tweaking things to find those partnerships.

25 Oct 2025 09:23:09
It's very difficult kaiser but for me soutar needs to be removed.

25 Oct 2025 09:59:08
Souttar needs removed, permanently. Goldson was hounded out by some Rangers fans, what I'd give to have him back in the team right now.

25 Oct 2025 10:10:38
Hope he gets a reaction EHL but just don't see the quality needed moving forward.
Like previous seasons we are poor at the back and now don't have a goalscorer, going to take time and new blood to fix this.

25 Oct 2025 10:26:35
Kaiser I agree I think where some of our problems lie is that most of the "First team" know they will be starting as there isn't a lot of competition for places, I do feel we should start Barron + Cameron the reason for that is at least these young guys will give it a go as I feel the current midfield seem to just stroll through games without putting in much effort. EHL totally agree we seem to start games of as a team and when the going gets tough, it is a matter of self preservation, unfortunately we don't have any leaders on the park to grab the game by the baws and get the rest fired up, hopefully Danny can get them fighting for themselves and each other and get a bit more belief in what they are trying to achieve, I feel if the fans can see they are putting the effort in and not shying away from their responsibilities, they will win their trust back and give them something to cheer on rather than turning on them for not putting the effort in.

25 Oct 2025 10:36:54
Souttar been treated poorly and not excusing his poor form but you don't give someone the captaincy then remove it.

25 Oct 2025 10:57:40
EHL I get that and have used it in team building. One thing I learned in team building that sometimes every individual will step up at some point not just leaders. I'm talking young individuals. We don't have that. He has to work out quickly who he can build with and move the rest on.

25 Oct 2025 14:05:19
Your not wrong scott. he's been absolutely honkin'. Should be mobbed on out if contract in summer.

When Will The Systemic Rot At Glasgow Rangers End?

Well put Stig. We have truly lost our soul.
They've taken the Rangersness away by flooding the squad with average players on ridiculous wages.
We don't even have enough good players to field a best starting 11.

25 Oct 2025 09:40:17
Good read stig. Would an ex players be better suited to identifying the right type of player? Could a davie weird be better suited as head of recruitment but look across the city they regularly i'd players and imo its the recruitment that's the biggest issue we've had since 55.

Anyone got a clue when Sterling is expected to be back in action?

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Oct 2025 07:54:32
I feel for the lad, but is he really going to make any difference?! He'll eventually get fit, play a handful of games, then he'll be out injured again.

If anyone cares to look, there are a plethora of reports on the boy's illness before he signed for us, and how his illness will ultimately impact his playing career through continuous injuries. Unfortunately for Sterling, injuries will continue to impact his life.

25 Oct 2025 08:07:50
Guessing he'll be back 2 or 3 games before he is injured again.

25 Oct 2025 10:06:40
8 -10 days, ?
